The Political Party System that Runs America Despite the American Constitution.

Cruz's Pro-Constitution agenda, and Rush's Anti-Liberal/Democrat Party agenda, aren't going anywhere while the Political Party System Itself Still Exists.

Go read the Preamble to the Constitution.  Do either of our Political Parties, or any existing Political Party, seek to "Establish Justice"?  "Insure Domestic Tranquility"?  "Promote the General Welfare"?  "Provide for the Common Defense"?  "Secure the Blessings of Liberty"? 

No?

Are any of them or all of them, collectively or individually, even mentioned in Article One Section Eight, or anywhere else in the Constitution? 

No?

Then, why, and by what authority, are the Parties running the whole American government, completely outside the bounds of the Constitution, which declares itself to be the Supreme Law of the Land? 

Presidents and Vice Presidents, Supreme Court Justices and lower court judges, US Senators, US Representatives, Cabinet Members and Heads of Federal Agencies all owe their first allegiance to a Party, not to the Constitution, and not to We The People.  The Parties, and the Parties alone, nominate or appoint them, approve or disapprove them, usher them into and out of office, all in strict accordance with how well or poorly they support the Party agenda. 

And the Party Agenda is, behind the Wizard Of Oz Curtain, the true agenda of the Donors and Owners and Masters of the Parties.  It may be professionally dressed up to look like a patriotic agenda, but it serves the purposes of those who pay for it, and nothing else. 

Forget the pay and the perquisites of government position; the real money and power flows to the members through the Party System from the Donors and Owners.  Get in with the in club and you're set for life.  Becoming an integral part of the establishment Party System becomes the goal of nearly everyone who becomes aware and sees the lure of its possibilities, or who becomes entangled in its vicious web of corruption. 

And every bit of it is unconstitutional and therefore illegal. 

The Constitution, and the Constitution alone, lays out the specific organization of the American government, and supplies its very specific rules of operation.  Political Parties have no legal part in that process.  They didn't even exist until pre-Civil War, originally coalescing behind the Abolition Movement and the Pro-Slavery Movement. 

We have discussed their metamorphosis into a Party of Marxism, and a Party of Political Party-ism, and we won't go over that ground again here.  The important point to be made is that we are never going to get back under the Constitution while the Party System is driving everything.  It is the Party System itself that must be broken. 

How to do that, I leave to better minds than mine.  It may be possible for a Constitutionalist President and/or a Constitutionalist Congress to do it by simple proclamation, since the Parties are already unconstitutional entities and thus outside legitimate Constitutional government.  Or, it may take legislation; a more difficult proposition. 

Political Parties exist for themselves; they exist to exist, and grow. 

It was multiple Political Party competition that brought Adolph Hitler to power, not German national interests and not the German people's interests.  In a four Party contest, no one got the required 51%, and Hindenburg retained office with a mere 49.6%, causing a political crisis.  To resolve the crisis, Hindenburg, aging and in poor health, appointed Hitler Chancellor.  Hindenburg died in 1934, Hitler assumed the office, abolished the title President and declared himself Führer.  Thanks to a Party System. 

Our own Parties do not represent us, and we all know it.  They do not represent the nation's best interest, and we all know it.  They only use the Constitution when it helps their agenda, and they violate it or ignore it when it does not, and we all know it.  They are addicted to the money, position, power, perks and security for life that flows from the Party System, and we all know it. 

Now, in the middle of this horrible mess they've put us into, along comes Trump.  We all understand the Trump Phenomenon, the Parties do not.  Or, more likely, they do indeed understand it, and they are absolutely terrified of it.  Trump doesn't need them, nor does he need their Mainstream News Media.  In fact, he is taking control of the Party System's News Media, even against the Media's will.  He almost owns them now, despite their own reluctance, and despite their opposition to him.  He is the news, and they cannot avoid covering him, for free. 

That's quite a trick. 

If America is going to survive as a recognizable unique entity as established in the Declaration and as organized via the Constitution, we are going to have to get back to being a No Party Nation, finding a New Way, without Political Parties, to do our Politics and elect our leaders, so that we are back under the Constitution where we belong. 

Trump is probably not the guy to do that, but he is likely to weaken if not destroy at least one of the Parties, and that would not be a bad thing.  They will try to destroy him, and that will make him try to destroy them.  And he just might succeed. 

Cruz is the guy to get us back under the Constitution, but I'm not sure he will actively attack the Party System.  And as long as the Party System is still running things, getting back under the Constitution will be a long drawn out and difficult process with no guarantee of long term success. 

The requirement for big money and big press to get elected has got to be destroyed.  The money train from the Donor Class through the Party System, picking up Tax Dollars to feed the whole process, including Media political ad revenue, and favorable regulation, legislation, subsidies, tarriffs, tax breaks, etc., favoring the Donors and Crony Capitalists and harming their competition, all going on behind the scenes, has got to be broken. 

None of this has anything to do with Constitutional government. 

Getting the Party's Media out of the process would be the easiest part.  They could simply be ordered out of the White House, out of the Capital Building, off of Air Force One, out of all traveling entourages, and all special access press credentials invalidated or ignored.  There is no Constitutional requirement for any regular press conferences, or any press conferences at all.  There is no real need for any Press Secretary. 

This would not be any violation of Freedom of the Press; the Press would still be perfectly free to print or broadcast anything they wanted to print or broadcast.  But there is no reason to grant them any more access to government than any other ordinary citizens.  Back in his day, Thomas Payne was never granted any regular interviews with King George, or with George Washington.  He just got himself a printing press and went to it. 

Politicians can pick their alternative media outlets or internet options to speechify, pontificate, proclaim their intentions to the public, and even debate each other.  It should be up to them, not the Media, where and when their own words are to be given to the public.  There is no reason for any Media big shot to "moderate" any debate, making their own political speeches under the guise of questions.  All that is needed for a debate is the debaters themselves, and perhaps a time keeper.  No one who is not a debater needs to ask any questions; the debaters can take care of that themselves. 

I'm just pointing out that the Parties are the real problem here. 

We need to get out from under them.  They are dooming us.

Vic,  Trump does not ask the voters for money very day in our e-mails but Cruz does. Trump says he will discuss & consider both sides to placate the Reagan dem's,independents, libertarians, & trade union demo's. he does not say he will agree with them. We need a no hold bars businessman to get Obama's mess clean up and correctly straight us out. Time is running out for America as we know it & was founded. sorry for the spacing. Think long & hard between the cracks. Vic you were a business owner as a OVR 18 wheeler.

There's a huge difference between running a business and running a government.  No government can ever profit, or create wealth.  Only people free to do it create wealth.  All government can do is take it, through taxes, and spend it; hopefully, appropriately, for the very real needs of the nation and nothing else.  It's almost the opposite of running a business.  It's not deals.  It's doing exactly what the Constitution says to do, and absolutely nothing else. 

I don't like Trump for his business sense; I like him because he's feisty, and if he is attacked by anybody, he declares war and gets after it. 

Marcie and I have had several businesses that never amounted to much.  We're still working, and I'm currently a 1099 independent contractor, so that's kind of sort of being in business, but without having to form a corporation, LLC, etc. 

What America needs is strong leadership that is not controlled by The Club - the Ruling Class that owns and operates the Parties.  Ideally, that strong leader would be a strict Constitutionalist.  That's where Trump is weak, besides his questionable morality.  I'm not sure he has ever even read the Constitution.
