In my view, Cardinal Burke and the rest of the four "Dubia" Cardinals have upped the ante in the Dubiosity confrontation. Personally, I was surprised to learn that there was any such thing as the possibility of deposing a Pope, but then, I am no theologian or scholar of any kind. However, as it turns out, Pope Francis' refusal to officially respond to the submitted Dubia puts him in a very precarious position.
