They Don't Even Fade Away
The Media lies, yes; but it lies for the greater good. And what is the greater good? The good of the International Communist Cause.

There he goes again.
Walter Cronkite, again on our Marxist-dominated airwaves, again, waxing nostalgic over his proudest personal accomplishment: having personally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, and having instigated and presided over America's only military defeat, in the Vietnam War.
This time he was "interviewed" (yeah, right) by Evan Smith, a Leftie editor of Texas Monthly magazine on an interview show for PBS, for broadcast in some 13 TV markets. It was, yet again, another Lefto - SLIMC1 opportunity to trash Joseph McCarthy, and to favorably compare the situation in Iraq to Vietnam.Right.
Ho hum, heavy sigh and here we go again.
I've been a little irritated for a few days now, because, one day I heard Cronkite on the radio, and one day I saw him on TV, and both times he mouthed the best, and indeed the only defense offered by many of the "victims" of the McCarthy hearings, and it went like this:
"I would hope that if I were given the choice between betraying my country and betraying my friends, that I would choose to betray my country."
QUESTION: How could anyone possibly betray his own country and not simultaneously, by that action, betray every single friend that he had?
ANSWER: When and only when every single friend that he had was a fellow filthy traitor deeply involved in the same deception, treachery and treason against his own country.
But we'll let that go for the moment. You can go the Vietnam War page to see what Cronkite did to us in that war. The current rabble-rousing drum-beat of the mainstream media seeks to gain public support for new political myths, as well as reinforce some old ones, like the one about the evil McCarthy and his great terror of Hollywood.
Now, at this late date, with all the Soviet archival information available, with books published on the findings, with every bit of available empirical evidence showing, overwhelmingly, that McCarthy was right, the Lefties still can't accept it, get over it, or move on. Hollywood, being true to its Marxist roots and responding to the fact that the truth still gets out despite the mainstream media's best efforts, made a movie boosting the media and trashing McCarthy, called Good Night and Good Luck. And so, the interview, and the opportunity for the most famous and beloved of all the old anti-anti-Communists, who was there, to praise the movie on camera, and criticize its only failing.
And that failing was - why, they didn't invite Cronkite to do an historical Forward for the movie. And so many of today's movie-viewers have not had the opportunity to be properly indoctrinated on the great threat against all the anti-anti-Communists posed by the horror of the McCarthy hearings. Cronkite pointed out that most of today's generation didn't even know what it was about, and he's right, partially due to his and his fellow anti-anti-Communist's concerted disinformation programs, and partially due to the sorry state of education in America today.
QUESTION: What is an anti-anti-Communist?
ANSWER: A Communist.
Think about it. Who else would be opposed to being opposed to Communism? Sticking another anti on the front of anti-Communist is just another example of Orwellian Newspeak and tricky language for those who need to blow smoke, because they cannot afford to be direct in what they say in public.
Smith and Cronkite droned on about how an historical Forward for the movie might have indoctrinated today's youth in how Democracy could be threatened by "one nut," as it was by McCarthy. Not Communism, but Democracy, was threatened by the stalwart anti-Communism of Joseph McCarthy. And Democracy, like America, wasn't threatened at all by Joseph Stalin, but by those who opposed Joseph Stalin. See?
Who am I to argue? The Cronkites of the media world are the ones who get to write the history. Look at how a typical Communist disinformation program succeeded in telling the Vietnam "history" to the whole world.
QUESTION: What's the difference between an old time Soviet Union disinformation program and the one run by the mainstream media in America today?
ANSWER: Nothing.
Soviet archival records show that all the people McCarthy accused - as in, every single one of them - really was a Communist or "fellow traveler." Whether McCarthy went over the top in his methods, whether he had real proof at the time, is irrelevant, today, to the fact that he was right. There really was a threat, the anti-anti-Communists really were blowing smoke and covering it up, and they don't want you to know that. The fact that most people do not know that is a tribute to the SLIMC1 's truly awesome power and control over the printed, published and broadcast word.And that's the way it is.
In newer topics discussed in the interview, Smith prompting and Cronkite confirming, why, yes, the situation in Iraq today is exactly, exactly, the same as the situation was back in Vietnam. He pretended that the President of South Vietnam was not elected, called South Vietnam a Monarchy, denied the existence of Democracy there, and - well, I'm getting tired of all the Cronkite-isms relating to Vietnam. But Iraq, today, is the same as Vietnam was then.
So, Sadam's army was defeated, Sadam has been overthrown and imprisoned, the people have had free elections, a new Democratic government is sworn in and acting, Iraq has a ratified Constitution, the Iraqi Army is taking over, and Cronkite is describing it, just as he falsely described what happened in Vietnam, as a doomed, abysmal failure.
So what else is new?
Well, we have the newest reports coming out of the on-going translations of thousands of hours worth of Sadam recordings, showing that Russia provided substantial intelligence assistance to Sadam, that weapons of mass destruction were moved from Iraq to Syria, Iran and Lebanon, that Sadam and Osama Binladin were conversing about weapons of mass destruction and about attacking America, and on, and on.
But you didn't hear any of that from the SLIMC1 , did you? That's funny, neither did I.There is nothing new under the sun.
