Once upon a time, there was nothing wrong with discrimination.  It was seen as a good thing; no one wanted to be forced into the company of anyone they preferred to avoid.  You chose your own friends, associates, employees, employers, and so forth.  If you didn't want to associate in any way with someone, you didn't, and no one thought ill of you for it.  In fact, it was encouraged, as per 2 Thes 3:14; Matt 18:17; 1 Cor 16:22; Gal 1:8; and elsewhere. 

And so it was in early America, until after the great moral debate over the unjust servitude of men - market slavery - was settled by the American Civil War.  After that, even though the Legal aspect of that moral debate was settled, the Politics of it became white hot, fueled by the Democrat Party of the Confederacy, which had lost the war, but was still allowed to have a powerful political voice in America.  They were able to pass the infamous Jim Crow laws and to force much of black America into legal inferior status, and to promote racial discrimination even in American law. 

Most of their success in government imposed racial discrimination was regional, involving the Southern states of the Confederacy; but even there some progress was to be seen in the Christian advancement of brotherhood of all mankind. 

Woodrow Wilson changed all that.  In his presidency, he fiercely re-segregated a previously desegregated American military, he fiercely re-segregated a previously desegregated federal government, and reinvigorated and breathed new life into a nearly extinct KKK, awakening anti-black terrorism across the whole land. 

At the same time, he began the process of morphing the Democrat Party into the Marxocrat Party we see today.  Secularizing government and every social institution he could affect, promoting social egalitarianism over liberty, and advancing Marxist notions straight out of the Communist Manifesto (graduated income tax; the Fed; reducing the Senate to just another elected house; etc.).  And, acting as America's leading "intellectual", he went about popularizing Socialism and other Marxist notions among the leading intellectuals of the day. 

The most damaging of these trends, begun in the Wilson administration, was the secularization of government and general society.  Thus began the dismissal of God, and of Christian moral norms, from political discussion.  The pro-Marxist religious cleansing of American government began with Wilson.  That was the beginning of the end of American decency. 

Since then, thanks to the incredible advance of Marxist-Secularist nuttiness among the intellectual elites, everything is turned upside down.  The Marxocrat Party, with total cooperation from the Marxified News Media, has successfully pinned the popular label of Racism on the Party that always opposed Racism against themselves, who were and are the real Racists.  They have become masters of deceit and political trickery, since they went totally secularist and abandoned God and all that is good.  They are, primarily, Marxists, and as Marxists, they are devious exploiters and manipulators of others.  Through deceitful lies. 

Marxocrat Politicians have become "Political Christians"; that is, they will act and sound Christian whenever the cameras are rolling or the microphone is on or they are in front of the public.  But they cannot possibly be faithful Christians and support all the abominations they support.  They are Christians when they are politicking, but they are rabidly anti-Christian atheists when they are governing. 

Under Eisenhower, who was Republican before his Party went Republicrat, much of Wilson's damage was undone by re-desegregation laws, re-desegregating military, government, schools and public facilities.  Martin Luther King's advances in total desegregation succeeded partially with the enforcement aid of John Kennedy, probably the last Democrat President who actually loved America and hated Communism. 

That brings us to now.  Note that all this desegregation and anti-discrimination was purely and exclusively racial.  It enforced the original self evident ideal from the Declaration, that all men are created equal in their endowed and unalienable rights, before God, and before the Law of America.  To deny any American citizen any such right, or hold it less enforceable than that of any other citizen, for any reason, defeats the very idea underlying America herself.  The races are equal. 

That is central to Christian morality; that is central to American law. 

Today, thanks to evil intent on the part of some and to induced stupidity of others, anti-discrimination has been turned into legally forced discrimination.  And whole new areas have been introduced, besides race. 

But let's address the new racial "anti-discrimination" discrimination first. 

1. Schools, at all levels, are legally forced to racially discriminate in order to allow more minorities into school in the first place, to grade minorities more leniently or with preference so that more of them are promoted or graduated over equally prepared non-minorities. 
2. Private and Public institutions of all kinds are legally forced to racially discriminate in order to hire and not fire, promote and reward minorities into jobs and careers. 
3. Banks and lending institutions are legally forced to racially discriminate in favor of minorities in granting of secured and unsecured loans. 

That's really just the tip of the anti-discrimination racial discrimination iceberg.  The claim that all of this open discrimination is "making up" for something or other is bogus.  Meritocracy is out the window, along with the achievement of excellence in most areas of American life.  "White Privilege" is just another typical modern intellectual lie.  A white man doesn't owe anybody anything just because he's a white man.  Maybe the Marxocrat Party does, but certainly not the whole white race. 

The masses are being formally educated into believing this crap, making minorities angry and whites guilty.  It feeds racism and racial animosity, on purpose.  It's become an actual industry, with lucrative careers available in it.  It's the career race mongers, the Marxocrats and the super-intellectuals here who are the real racists; not the rest of us. 

But race is small potatoes in the government anti-discrimination discrimination movement today.  Today, we, all of us, are to be forced, against our will, into the close company of all sorts of twisted perverts, and immoral people, whether we like it or not. 

Remember, it started with accommodating racial minorities, and guaranteeing their equal treatment before the law.  And, of necessity, it guaranteed racial non-discrimination in government, military, schools, public access, etc.  And it guaranteed customer access to businesses open to the public, regardless of customer race. 

All that aside, that said nothing at all about any non-government, private person or private company hiring or firing anyone they want to hire or fire, or rent a room to, or anything at all.  Simple common sense should tell you that no one should be forced to hire or fire someone just because they are of a certain color.  Should a black businessman be forced by law to hire mostly or all white employees, against his will, just because he operates in a white neighborhood? 

If it's your business, you should be able to run it yourself by your own rules, whatever your color or preferences.  Now, you can argue that point from a lot of different angles, including calling people racists simply because they prefer the close company of their own kind.  But you cannot claim that forcing someone to hire someone of another race just because they are of another race is not forced racial discrimination.  And that is racist on its face. 

But just look at where this is gone, since the anti-discrimination discrimination cat is out of the bag.  Christian bakers are now forced against their will to cater sodomite "weddings".  Catholic institutions are being legally required to provide Catholic-prohibited artificial contraception to employees.  Christian hospitals are threatened with court action for not providing abortions. 

People trying to live Christian morality in their daily lives are being forced by government to sin.  Christianity itself is discriminated against, in the bogus name of anti-discrimination against the most abominable of public sinners.  Our government now recognizes no sin.  Our government no longer knows simple right from wrong, thanks to the efforts of the Marxocrat Party, with the Bipartisan Cooperation of the Republicrat Party, and the support of the Marxified Media. 

This trend is just getting started.  Now, trans-gendered, gender-indeterminate, gender-fluid, etc., etc., etc., are getting in line with our wives and daughters and mothers for the lady's room.  I don't know about you, but I'm not having it.  This is not just happening on college campuses, which are run by idiots.  Courts of law are adjudicating in favor of these bizarre perversions of reality itself. 

How did these Leftist "intellectuals" get into the courts where all this garbage is coming from?  From the "intellectuals" in the Marxocrat Party who put them there, and the "intellectuals" in the Republicrat Party who helped them do it. 

Every bit of this is Constitutionally invalid, to say the least.  None of the sexual perversions with favored status with the government is even mentioned in Article One Section Eight of the Constitution, which says that they are outside the limited and enumerated powers of the government in the first place.  Note that freedom of religion and religious exercise, and freedom of association, are indeed in the Constitution.  And that makes all of this treasonable activity. 

A partial discussion I heard on Catholic Radio pointed to evidence that all of this LGBT-Endlessly Expanding Alphabet Crap actually was initiated and is being fed by elitist, intellectual pedophiles like Alfred Kinsey and his Indiana University sex cabal.  I mean sexology laboratory. 

What the whole thing stems from - the "normalization" of perversions, the acceptability of perverse sexual license, the "born that way" naturalness of gender identification, etc., etc., etc. - all of that stems from a program to promote, in public consciousness and in law, the acceptability and the legality of sex between adults and children. 

The "normalizing" of pedophilia. 

I believe it.  They are all mere stepping stones.  The theory is that if you can once get a man to accept sodomy, eventually, you can get him to accept anything at all. 

Well, at least we can count on the Catholic Church to keep on the moral track and lead the way in establishing cultural morality, right?  Well, no, we cannot.  Because it does not. 

Michael Voris of CurchMilitant.com has been reporting vigorously on the growing scandal in sodomy-friendly Cardinal Dolan's New York Archdiocese for several weeks now.  Dolan and the Archdiocese are finally being sued for refusing to act on Parishioner complaints for so many years.  And still, after all this time, the mainstream Catholic Media has not picked up the story or mentioned one word about it.  Could it be that mainline Catholic Media, including Raymond Orroyo, has become just as politicized, biased and controlled as is our disgusting secular Mainstream Media?

Apparently the priest in question spent a million dollars from the collection plate on his live-in sado-masochist "master", and boy-friend, who is a professional male prostitute.  And Dolan knew all about it, for years.  The reason the priest feels "protected" and the reason Dolan lets it go on is that, the priest, once upon a time, witnessed another cleric (not identified, yet) sexually abusing a child.  In exchange for keeping his mouth shut about it, this priest was given a plum pastor assignment. 

That's the way they do business in the archdiocese of New York.   

Cardinal Dolan keeps coming into the spotlight, whenever topics sexual within the Church become newsworthy.  But never in a good light.  It appears that he is one of the infamous Lavender Mafia we keep hearing about; personally, I prefer to use the term Clerical Faggots.  Dolan, you will recall, has periodically cheered on or congratulated or led parades promoting outed, open, highly public faggotry.  In Dolan's world, that's good for culture. 

There are multiple openly homosexual Parishes in his Archdiocese, blessed by him, flying the rainbow flag, celebrating active sodomy and perversion.  But he is quick to shut down the Latin Mass wherever it dares to pop up. 

It seems that, since the Catholic Priest-child sexual abuse scandal and cover-up has mostly died down, and is at least pretended to be "solved", the Church's Clerical Faggots among the Bishops have no real problem with active homosexual Priests and Pastors, so long as children are not involved.  And, maybe, so long as they are not squealed on themselves. 

Michael is the only one I've seen talking about this.  Now, finally, it's in the secular news.  But not in the Catholic news.

I am living testimony that discrimination in the Catholic Church is directed at Traditionalists and Doctrinaires more than at sinners.  Look around.  It appears to me that the Year of Mercy is directed more at the elimination of simple adult judgment, in the name of Non-Judgmentalism, than at any ongoing proactive grave sin that has never been and will never be reproved or admonished or even recognized for what it is.  Those who reprove it are the sinners, for failing in Mercy toward the obstinate, unrepentant sinners. 

Calling a sin a sin, is a sin. 

If that ain't ruling class imposed malicious discrimination, what the hell is?

Unfortunately this is part of the effort to introduce into being the New World Order and the coming age of barbarism. The hidden agenda of the rainbow favors the adoption of the New World Order to serve as the political structure for the New Age Christ.

This is a steady effort to establish this nonsense on the backs of naive Christians who are more taken in by deceptive New Age promises than with clear scriptural warnings.

Some years ago a very revealing book was published, Good By Good Men, which related to the rejection of the priesthood as one's life choice due to the, as you so correctly described it, the clerical faggots that had become evident within the priesthood. The lavender Mafia, as it was described had so corrupted this institution that decent inspired men who had once sought the priesthood now rejected it along with the church itself.

Catholics cannot simply trust the media or as it appears, the Church itself to correct the infiltration of New Age concepts within the Church, but must demand adherence to the clear tenets of Christ to be followed within Church teachings. It is becoming clear that many who purport the new age philosophy are hearing something that many of us cannot or do not hear. Perhaps it is the whispering of the demons in their ear that we cannot hear.

I always thought the "Rainbow Coalition" of the Race Discrimination And Extortion Industry, and the Rainbow Flag of the LGBT ...  Revolution involved surreptitious movement into an all inclusive multi-culture, which is to say, the end of clearly identifiable human culture itself.

It's getting scary around here when you look at the possibilities of just how deep all this might go.

Once again an excellent analysis of the effects of Secular Progressivism and how Wilson opened that door.

Discrimination IS a good thing. It is the application of our God-given constitution, which is choice, and which is the result of being designed as free creatures in God's good world.

Simply put, free creatures are required to discriminate in order to survive God's physical universe. Equally, free creatures are required to discriminate in order to survive God's moral universe.

In the particular (the individual level) we are encouraged in 2 Thes 3:14; Matt 18:17; 1 Cor 16:22; Gal 1:8; and elsewhere to discriminate NOT the creatures made in God's image, but the BEHAVIOR of His creature made free.

In the universal (the governmental level) any discrimination by our elected officials EXCEPT in choosing to use their power to protect the God-given rights of their fellow free creatures equally free, is a moral wrong.

At least that is how I see it.

At this moment in history, Immigration is a bad thing.  Period.  If the world was "normal" and if America was behaving Constitutionally, as if the Constitution actually meant what it said, it would be a different story.  Right now, immigration, both legal and illegal, threatens to destroy us. 

I disagree with the opinions of Numbers USA, because we are in an economically worse and considerably more dangerous national security situation than we were in 1924, when immigration was shut down entirely, until Ted Kennedy opened it up again in 1965. 

Incidentally, I got the dates wrong in Culture=Religion+Politics; I said immigration was shut down entirely from 1914 until 1965.  It actually shut down in 1924 by proclamation of President Calvin Coolidge.  One of these days I'll issue a corrected version.  My grandmother made it to Ellis Island from Lithuania just before the door slammed shut. 

We should slam the door shut again, until we get a handle on the ones who are here now, get the undesirables out of here, and allow the desirables - the ones who want to be Americans - time to assimilate into American culture. 

If people, regardless of education, class or station in life, race or ethnicity, or even religion, can and will abide by and deeply appreciate our Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, they should be welcomed, during times when we are open to legal immigration.  We, and no one else, should determine our own national security interests. 

And in that regard, and any others, discrimination should only be applied to human behavior.  It either complies with, agrees with and is restrained by our Constitution, or not.

About numbersusa, the website is actually against immigration because it ruins the US economy and helps only those in businesses that are successful enough to be politically connected. As the article pointed out, this was Kennedy's motivation.

This particular article was written in 2009, so the safety perspective was not significant like it is now.

Quite correct, on all points.  However, I tend to accept Rush's analysis of Ted Kennedy's true motives, which involved establishing, through immigration, a giant government sponsored Marxocrat Party Voter Registration Drive.  To get people here who were looking for a government hand-out, and who would be most attracted to those politicians who were constantly offering more and more government hand-outs, at tax payer expense. 

That's obviously the major motive today for the Marxocrats keeping the borders open, establishing sanctuary cities, advertising in foreign nations "how-to" get into America illegally and then apply for food stamps, etc., etc., etc.  It wasn't so obvious back then, but I believe that was the real motive from the beginning. 

They proved it by tricking Reagan into agreeing to the first Amnesty bill, and then breaking their part of the bargain.  The result was previously solidly Republican California went hopelessly Marxocrat, overnight, never to return to American Constitutionalism.  And that only involved three million of them.  We don't even know how many are here now, and we won't know until some time after Comrade Obama, peace be upon him, just grants them amnesty by dictatorial decree.  Which, I predict, he will do before he leaves office, if he leaves office. 

Who's going to stop him? 

Someone will have to somehow de-amnesty them all after he's out of office, assuming he's ever out of office.
