Criminal Control, not Gun Control, is what is needed.

Gun Control laws affect only the law-abiding citizenry, not the criminals. Criminals, by definition, disobey laws. "Control" laws transform rugged individual citizens into docile herd animals while encouraging and enabling even more crime.

What is a Criminal?

A person who disregards and violates laws and commits crimes. (Lawbreaker, Villain, Delinquent, Felon, Malefactor, Miscreant, Thief, Gunman, Gangster, Terrorist, Crook, Hood, Malfeasant, etc.)

What is a Sociopath?

A person with a Personality Disorder characterized by extreme anti-social attitudes and behaviors and a total lack of conscience.

The two terms are very nearly synonymous. Criminals are anti-social; Sociopaths don't respect social rules and norms, including laws.

The common trait they share is basic immorality. Opposition to the moral norms of their own culture or the society they are a part of.

The Criminal and the Sociopath act in opposition to decent human culture, and as their numbers increase, they put the whole culture in increasing jeopardy. Criminal and sociopathic behavior allowed to persist and increase and go unpunished will eventually destroy the culture itself, from the inside.
