The dark art of foolery makes truth appear to be false and falsehood appear to be true, religion appear to be superstition and superstition appear to be religion, patriots appear to be traitors and traitors appear to be patriots, and so forth. Political Foolery is the making of political fools. Ecclesial Foolery is the making of religious fools, because it makes false religion appear to be true and true religion appear to be false, or, it makes all religions appear to be equally valid, which is, of course, false.
