Apparently, the whole Washington Establishment, including the Media, is so set in stone, divorced from reality, incapable of critical thinking and devoid of objectivity and simple common sense that they fully expect nothing in their exclusive, closed, elite world to ever change. Why, they own it; it's their world; they rule it; and they, and they alone, rule America. They set the stage, they make the rules, they even define reality.
