Today is Low Sunday in the year of our Lord 2020.

It is the eighth day after the Easter Sunday rising of our Lord; the second Sunday, when our Lord appeared to the Apostles. The next eighth day, another Sunday, He would appear to Thomas. This, with the breaking of the bread on a Sunday in Acts 20:7 explains how the Christian Sabbath was moved, by the Resurrection of our Lord, from Saturday to Sunday.
