It is Holy Week, and thoughts about our Political Pope should not displace that serious meditation. But they do; I can't help it. I am tortured by them.

It's Good Friday again, the day that He suffered and died for us. A day of fast and abstinence, a day of reparation and repentance. At yesterday's Mass of the Last Supper, we witnessed anew the establishment of His Holy Eucharist, the establishment of the Priesthood and the means by which He would be with us until the end of time. His suffering begins in the garden of Gethsemane.
