Getting Back to Righteousness

How did we ever allow Righteousness to become an Epithet? On Revealing and Undoing the Tricky Reversal of Right and Wrong in the Mind of Man.

The world is upside down.

Today, the word "Righteous" is merely a synonym for "Cool".

At some local town's annual street festival we opened up our chairs and sat down to listen to the hired entertainment. It was pretty good music played by pretty good musicians, but interspersed with little social commentaries between numbers. And one of these little two or three sentence editorials included a line referring to general social "Innocence, until the advent of morals", with the word "morals" pronounced with a voice that was just dripping with contempt.
