Should we treat Islam differently than other religions?

If not, why not? Doesn't Islam treat the whole non-Islamic world differently than it treats Islam?

We have said a blue million times in a blue million ways that Islam, the religion, is on an unrelenting, everlasting mission to conquer us and the whole world. And we have been called paranoid.
