The Anti-American Quotes listed here represent words from those who oppose American Ideals, the American Foundation or the American Constitution. Even when the quote is from pre-American history, it is included as opposition to the wonderful Ideal of citizen liberty that America represents.

By Ideals we mean the rule of law, the fixed, dependable nature of law, and the principle that no man is above the law. Everyone, from the President on down, is subject to the same law. Ideally, the law is written in plain English and available to anyone who can read. It is fixed as legislated or amended, clear to all, and not vague in wording or variable in interpretation.

By Foundation we mean Judao-Christian values and morals that inspired our Declaration of Independence, firmly fixing our inalienable rights into our law and into our hearts. Our representative law is based upon our American corporate sense of right versus wrong, and founded upon the Judao-Christian ethos of the founders and the overwhelming voting population.

By Constitution we mean the English, written, fixed United States Constitution and its Bill of Rights. This clear, concise, simple document, which fits neatly into my shirt pocket, defines the make-up, the organization and the operating rules for the most powerful government on earth. You don’t need any special degree or training to be able to read it or understand it.

These uniquely American values and principles are backed up by the writings of the Founding Fathers, the actual words of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution itself, and in important historical documents such as The Federalist Papers and The Anti-Federalist Papers. These unique ideas and ideals are very important to us and for our posterity to preserve.

All we have to do to lose them is to not pay attention. If we do not teach them to our children, they will be lost forever, and American Liberty with them. Indeed, current events show that the American Constitutional Republic may be lost in this generation. Please, do not let that happen.

Beware the atheist in America, for he lacks any rule or standard by which to consistently tell right from wrong. He will wind up embracing “The Ends Justify The Means” , first as a virtue, then as a way of life.

Beware the Moslem in America, for his “religion” is in fact a theocracy that seeks to dominate the world, and must therefore destroy the American Constitutional Republic to do it. The Moslem or his posterity will end up saying “Submit To Islamic Law Or Die” in the effort to achieve the one-world Caliphate that Islam relentlessly drives toward.

[Asked about his opinion of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution:] "The original Constitution as well as the Civil War Amendments,” he replied. “But I think it is an imperfect document, and I think it is a document that reflects some deep flaws in American culture, the Colonial culture nascent at that time.

"African-Americans were not -- first of all they weren’t African-Americans -- the Africans at the time were not considered as part of the polity that was of concern to the Framers. I think that as Richard said it was a ‘nagging problem’ in the same way that these days we might think of environmental issues, or some other problem where you have to balance cost-benefits, as opposed to seeing it as a moral problem involving persons of moral worth.

“And in that sense, I think we can say that the Constitution reflected an enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day, and that the Framers had that same blind spot. I don’t think the two views are contradictory, to say that it was a remarkable political document that paved the way for where we are now, and to say that it also reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day.” --Barack Hussein Obama.

Interviewer:

” … And the idea that you can somehow use the due process clause for redistributing ends socially, and that it would be stable was I think an astonishing assumption in the mind of litigators about what they could accomplish over time. And it just didn’t last very long.”

Response:

“Right. And essentially it has never happened. I think if you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to vest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that I would now have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order as long as I could pay for it I’d be okay.

”But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. And to that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as it’s been interpreted. And the Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties — says what the states can’t do to you — says what the Federal government can’t do to you — but it doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf.

“And that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, the tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court-focused I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of powers through which you bring about redistributive change. In some ways we still suffer from that … " --Barack Hussein Obama.

"True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within. Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties ... Many leftists view Hillary as a sell-out because she claims to hold moderate views on some issues. However, Hillary is simply following Alinsky’s counsel to do and say whatever it takes to gain power.

"Obama is also an Alinskyite.... Obama spent years teaching workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project ... Camouflage is key to Alinsky-style organizing. While trying to build coalitions of black churches in Chicago, Obama caught flak for not attending church himself. He became an instant churchgoer." --Richard Poe.

Justice is always naive and self-confident; believing that it will immediately win once recognized. That is the reason why the forces of Justice are so poorly organized. On the other hand, the Evil is cynic, sly and fantastically organized. It never ever has the illusion of the ability to stand on its own feet and to win in a fair competition. That is why it is ready to use any kind of means without hesitation. And of course it does - under the banners of the most noble ideas. --Vladimir Bukovsky.

Do they choose their appointees on the basis of the virtue of the people appointed or on the basis of their political clout? --Milton Friedman.

In search of some inspiration, I went to hear Kwame Toure', formerly Stokely Carmichael of SNNC and Black Power fame, speak at Columbia. At the entrance to the auditorium, two women, one black, one Asian, were selling Marxist literature ... as Haskins recorded in Profiles in Black Power, Carmichael gave the term a different spin when he spoke to African American audiences: "When you talk of 'black power,' you talk of building a movement that will smash everything Western civilization has created." Carmichael had traveled the world denouncing the United States, speaking to cheering throngs in Cuba, and declaring, "We do not want peace in Vietnam. We want the Vietnamese people to defeat the United States." "The 1992 Los Angeles rebellion [civil unrest following the acquittal by a white jury of the four police officers who had been videotaped beating African American motorist Rodney King] reflects this reality; other oppressed nationalities joined the rebellion in mass character." Carmichael told the crowd at Michigan State that the riots "were good for us." He insisted in his conclusion to the Black Power afterward that "mass political organization on a Pan African scale is the only solution. Thus, Black Power can only be realized when there exists a unified socialist Africa." --Barack Hussein Obama.

It seems to be that when these communist regimes take over - if you look at the example of Vietnam or Cambodia or Nicaragua - that even in conditions of peace they don't seem to be able to figure out how to support their people, and the human suffering is enormous. --John Negroponte.

It's a different outlook, and one that I understand. When you are a former member of the Warsaw Pact, when you have lived behind the Berlin Wall, when you have experienced the communist systems that existed in these countries, for them, the West represents hope. --Jean-Pierre Raffarin.

No member of our generation who wasn't a Communist or a dropout in the thirties is worth a damn. --Lyndon B. Johnson.

Later, I would realize that the position of most black students in predominantly white colleges was already too tenuous, our identities too scrambled, to admit to ourselves that our black pride remained incomplete. And to admit our doubt and confusion to whites, to open up our psyches to general examination by those who had caused so much of the damage in the first place, seemed ludicrous, itself an expression of self-hatred - for there seemed no reason to expect that whites would look at our private struggles as a mirror into their own souls, rather than yet more evidence of black pathology. --Barack Hussein Obama.

One strength of the communist system of the East is that it has some of the character of a religion and inspires the emotions of a religion. --Albert Einstein.

Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. --Robert A. Heinlein.

What our deliberative, pluralistic democracy does demand is that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values. It requires that their proposals must be subject to argument and amenable to reason. If I am opposed to abortion for religious reasons and seek to pass a law banning the practice, I cannot simply point to the teachings of my church or invoke God’s will and expect that argument to carry the day. If I want others to listen to me, then I have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths, including those with no faith at all. --Barack Hussein Obama, fabricating illegal bounds to open political debate.

At some fundamental level, religion does not allow for compromise. It insists on the impossible. If God has spoken, then followers are expected to live up to God’s edicts, regardless of the consequences. To base one’s life on such uncompromising commitment may be sublime; to base our policy making on such commitments would be a dangerous thing. --Barack Hussein Obama.

All too often I have sat in a church and heard a pastor use gay bashing as a cheap parlor trick....usually when the sermon is not going too well....I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex - nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount. --Barack Hussein Obama.

Capitalism and communism stand at opposite poles. Their essential difference is this: The communist, seeing the rich man and his fine home, says: 'No man should have so much.' The capitalist, seeing the same thing, says: 'All men should have as much.' --Phelps Adams.

Communists are of two kinds only. Gadarene Swine whose wits have been taken from them so that they rush headlong down the slope to their own destruction, and ordinary voracious swine who, if you were standing in their sty, had a heart-attack and fell among them, would instantly set upon and devour you. --Dennis Wheatley.

And what would help minority workers are the same things that would help white workers: the opportunity to earn a living wage, the education and training that lead to such jobs, labor laws and tax laws that restore some balance to the distribution of the nation’s wealth ... --Barack Hussein Obama.

Communism has never come to power in a country that was not disrupted by war or corruption, or both. --John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

"From the days of Spartacus, Karl Marx, Trotsky, Rosa Luxemburg, and Emma Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a definite recognizable role in the tragedy of the French revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th Century. And now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their head and have become the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.

"The substance of the eminent Socialist gentlemen's speech is that making a profit is a sin. It is my belief that the real sin is taking a loss!" --Winston Churchill.

In examining any dictatorship, there are two good tests. Firstly, what is the relation between the rulers and the proletariat or common people? Are the rulers members of the proletariat, as they would have you believe? Do they even identify their interests with those of ordinary citizens? The truth seems to be that, no matter where you find them, the so-called proletarian dictatorships are actually controlled by a small elite who ordinarily lose little sleep in worrying about the rights of the common man. Secondly, have the proletariat any effective say in what the rulers do? In the proletarian dictatorships I am familiar with, ordinary people ebjoy little or no control over their Government or over their own lives and futures. --Muhammad Reza Pahlavi.

"Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don't need it, and hell where they already have it.

"The years ahead will be great ones for our country, for the cause of freedom and the spread of civilization. The West will not contain Communism, it will transcend Communism. We will not bother to denounce it, we'll dismiss it as a sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages are even now being written.

"In an ironic sense, Karl Marx was right. We are witnessing today a great revolutionary crisis – a crisis where the demands of the economic order are colliding directly with those of the political order. But the crisis is happening not in the free, non-Marxist West, but in the home of Marxism-Leninism, the Soviet Union ... [Communism will be] left on the ash heap of history.

We must make no secret of the fact that we are a revolutionary party, prepared to give leadership on the streets as well as in the elected chambers & that we are out for a revolutionary state" --Seamus Costello.

Your "truth" reigns supreme here. That's exactly what I thought. Your views and your opinions are the truth; anybody else who contradicts or gainsays you with facts or educated opinion is an evil communist because you know the Will of God. This makes you an extremist and a hate-monger, Vic, exactly like the Muslim extremists that you fear and loath. I therefore see no point to your website. The only interesting thing about your website is the intensity of the anxiety and desperation you generate, but that is not surprising since both the Catholic Church and the run-away free market capitalism in the United States are under such duress they may hopefully either go under completely or undergo some welcome reforms that will no longer accommodate people like you. --Joe Miller, submitted on the Marxist Defined page.

Death solves all problems - no man, no problem. --Joseph Stalin.
