A Nation in the Grips of Blind, Raging, Infectuous Heterophobia

Ascendent Heterophobia and utter moral depravity appears to be the new American Guiding Ethos. The Fundamental Transformation of America, from a decent Christian nation into the grips of Heterophobia, appears to be complete.

The question before us is whether all this is mere appearance or an actual new objective reality.

What triggered these thoughts was the Jason Collins - Mike Wallace brouhaha, and then the Robert Griffin III comments regarding the new "politically correct" agenda to change the name of the theoretically racist "Redskins" team name. Or, actually, it was the gigantic public reaction to these things, not the things themselves. And, in the same time frame, there were all the public opinions and debates bandied about on the airwaves over the goings-on in "Doctor" Kermit Gosnell's quite typical American abortuary.
