On the Feast of Christ The King 2026

Instituted by Pope Pius XI in 1925 to oppose the rising evil tide of the "Enlightenment" of the 18th and 19th Centuries

"And the serpent said to the woman: No, you shall not die the death. For God doth know that in what day soever you shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened: and you shall be as Gods, knowing good and evil." [Genesis 3:4-5]

That one evil lie of the serpent is still wreaking havoc among us. Men yearn to be kings, with the authority of gods, determining for themselves what is good and what is evil, and so ordering it to be. That lie authored the first rebellion, or "revolution" against God, right there in the Garden.
