It will be Political Party Politics that will destroy America.

All Party Politics aim at One Party Rule. No Political Party gives a damn about anything else, including Laws, Constitutions or the Citizenry.

Whatever any new political party starts out to be, it winds up being something else. All political parties outlive their original purpose for being. Party politics are all about creating and using political power to accomplish something, but they rarely if ever go out of existence once that 'something' is accomplished or the matter is settled, one way or another. Political parties 'evolve'. They never give up power easily once they accumulate enough of it to become addicted to it.

The end result of this 'evolution' is that pure political power, i.e., the power to control the government, becomes the sole goal of the party, and then that sole goal evolves into the need to achieve absolute One Party Rule over the nation, and then group of nations, and then, the world.
