Most scholars agree that today's Palestinians are descendent from the ancient Philistines of Canaan. It would appear that the barbaric tendencies, bloodlust and scorn for art, beauty and civilization common to the Philistines came down unchanged to their Palestinian offspring. And that they were evil tendencies and beliefs that spread out way beyond any racial or genetic relationships. It is an alter-ethos; an ethos set against all other ethe.
