Disperse Political Power, Authority, Wealth, Energy, Etc., Etc., Etc., To Keep it and Increase it; Collectivize and Centralize it to Risk Losing It All.

The USA was originally conceptualized, declared and eventually constituted to be a nation with dispersed government authority, with the authority of government coming from the bottom up rather than from the top down. The Constitution itself opens up with the line "We the people..." rather than "The US Government...".
