The USA was originally conceptualized, declared and eventually constituted to be a nation with dispersed government authority, with the authority of government coming from the bottom up rather than from the top down. The Constitution itself opens up with the line "We the people..." rather than "The US Government...".
We the people established the government, and it is more accountable to us than we are to it. If we feel it necessary, we can take it down and replace it; we have that authority. That is the whole reason for the second amendment.

"A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." --George Washington.
This blessed dispersion of governing authority is unique in all the world, and it is the reason for America's greatness and America's leadership role in the world. The federal government is, constitutionally speaking, strictly limited in what it may govern by Article 1 Section 8 of the constitution. If it isn't in that list, it is left to states and to the citizens themselves to handle as they see fit. Whatever is not addressed by states is left to the private sector.
Hence, we have more of a liberated, self-motivate, self-sustaining and continually self-improving citizenry than any other nation on earth. And no American citizen can improve his own or his family's situation in life or his state of being in America without simultaneously improving the lives of others all around him. It's called the "Trickle Down" effect.
It explains how rich men like President Trump and Elon Musk increase the wealth of so many people all around them even without intending to do so and even without being aware of it.
As Adam Smith pointed this out in his 1776 Wealth Of Nations, the sole originator of all new wealth in this world is the lowly individual citizen who is left alone and allowed to improve his own condition in life as he and he alone sees fit. Thus, individual citizen liberty is the one essential component of all new wealth creation.
What is new wealth? It is expendable income. Period.
Note that Adam Smith didn't invent Capitalism, he only described it. It always existed as a naturally occurring human phenomenon.
So if you want to increase your nation's wealth, disperse it. Every dollar in a citizen's pocket potentially increases his expendable income. (expendable income=wealth=profit.) Increased citizen wealth will make the whole nation wealthier. Let the citizens take care of themselves, and they will willingly take care of the nation. As long as the citizenry is moral in the Christian sense of that word, their list of priorities will be God, family and nation, in that order. And the private sector - individuals, families, corporations, Churches and charities - will take care of the "safety net" needs of widows, orphans and the needy, without need of federal government interference.
Citizens who will have nothing to do with any Church, family or charity should be simply be allowed to live with the consequences of that individual decision.

The government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state governments, whose powers are more general. The problem with the collectivist/communal opposing viewpoint of Socialism is that some, many and eventually most members of a commune don't work. The Catholic Communizer Dorothy Day remarked about her Catholic Worker Collective Farms that "The more people we have around here the less work gets done". Why work when the food is free? Most collectivized communal "workers" would rather just sit around discussing politics and philosophy all day.
It's what happens to people who abandon their own independence and become dependents - mere mouths to feed, who do nothing. They become unmotivated, unimaginative, lazy slugs living an unearned relative life of leisure.
Dorothy Day's problem was that she believed the Communist lie; she was trying to make a real worker's paradise, not knowing that it was quite impossible. Communism, i.e., the idyllic Utopian worker's paradise does not exist, and cannot exist. It's a lure. It's bait. The real goal of Communism is not a man made heaven on earth, but One Party Rule, which is to say, Tyrannical Government.
That is what we saw in the old Soviet Union and that is what we see today in Red China, Cuba, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia, Laos, North Korea and every other place that is or was "Communist".

Big Lie number two in Socialism is that Nazi-Fascism is the opposite of Socialism, and thus, since Socialism/Communism is Leftist, Nazi-Fascism is Right Wing. But they're all essentially the same thing. Mussolini was a Marxist/Socialist, and so was Hitler. The full name of the Nazi Party was the National Socialist Worker's Party. All were under One Party Rule, all were Tyrannically ruled, all were collectivist/communalist, all were anti-Capitalist.
Therefore they all belong together on the Left, politically speaking.
President Trump therefore represents the extreme right wing, not because he's a Nazi or any other kind of Socialist, but because he, more closely than anyone else, represents America as originally declared and originally constituted. Which is to say pro-individual and anti-commune.
And anti-One Party Rule. I wish he was anti-Political Parties, period.
If you want to increase the nation's treasure, disperse it. Repeal Woodrow Wilson's evil Federal Reserve Act of 1913, take American treasure back from the federal reserve banks, shut down the FED, fire everyone in it and return the printing and coining of American currency to the Treasury Department where it belongs. Take all the American reserve money from the FED banks and deposit it among the credit unions, small banks and savings and loans all across America.
The only thing the federal government should be controlling is the money supply and the printing of currency.
- Let all prices float naturally with the supply and demand of goods and services.
- Let all wages float naturally with the supply and demand of different kinds of labor.
- Let all interest rates float with the supply and demand of American dollars.
Let the increase in American currency match the annual increase in American citizen population (if there is one) but not to exceed a limit of about 2.5% per year (Friedman's Monetarism).
If you want to increase the nations energy, disperse it. Encourage development, manufacture, sale and use of business and home electric energy sources such as propane generators, Ventum Turbines, Propane Fuel Cells, Batteries and Portable Reactors. Get as much of America as possible "off the grid". Cut down on massive reliance on electricity transmitted from miles away at giant power plants. At the same time discourage less efficient wind and solar power sources manufactured in China. Cut down on dangers of massive blackouts and brownouts.
