Glorious history, visions of future glory and the sight of battle hardened heroes marching in unison are the things that recruit young men to arms. The glory of God, the glory of family and the glory of country, and their protection, and their promotion. It's the glory of Western Civilization, falsely demonized by anti-Americans, the Marxocrat Party and by all under their power these days.

Unit cohesion is a totally different thing than glory. On the actual field of battle it is not glory that soldiers fight for. Not the flag. Not the country. Not even the constitution. It's the guys right next to you.

It's the unit.
