The Army On Parade:
Army Strong, Army Pride and Army Unit Cohesion
After the Birthday US Army, and the Birthday of President Trump

There is a huge difference between glory and unit cohesion.
Glorious history, visions of future glory and the sight of battle hardened heroes marching in unison are the things that recruit young men to arms. The glory of God, the glory of family and the glory of country, and their protection, and their promotion. It's the glory of Western Civilization, falsely demonized by anti-Americans, the Marxocrat Party and by all under their power these days.
Unit cohesion is a totally different thing than glory. On the actual field of battle it is not glory that soldiers fight for. Not the flag. Not the country. Not even the constitution. It's the guys right next to you.
It's the unit.
Yesterday was the 250th anniversary of the US Army, and the 79th birthday of President Trump, and we watched the whole thing on TV, beginning to end. It was a wonderful event, full of glorious history, with both antique and updated uniforms, weapons and equipment, and with some of the proudest American military units on parade, each proud unit marching beneath its unique unit guidon with its battle streamers.
Leading up to the event we saw and heard all the Marxocrat Party and other detractors and general anti-Americans who favor other flags and other nations, holding this flag, this event and this military in contempt. Among them was Senator Rand Paul, who was asked for his opinion of the 250 anniversary parade.
He opposed it as "goose-stepping" and flag waving, indicating either his ignorance of the US Army, his stupidity or his usually carefully hidden anti-Americanism. He never saw any American military unit goose-step in his life. Goose-stepping is what socialist armies do, whether Communist, Fascist or National Socialist, or Islamo-Socialist, or Socialist Islamicist.
We don't do that. That's what our enemies do.
But we do wave the American flag, and there's nothing wrong with that, whether Rand Paul likes it or not.
The whole event was uplifting and inspiring, especially all the happy faces of children among the giant crowd, estimated at 250,000 strong. Historic and current units on parade were interspersed with little vignettes of Army history, soldier stories and recruitment ads on the jumbotron tv screens.
It was, in a word, glorious.
The glory part of it was a home run. However, I had a little problem here and there with visible, to me, potential problems with unit cohesion. Maybe its me; maybe I'm entering into my cranky old man phase in life. But whether it's me being persnickety or they are real problems I'll let you decide.
1. Marching units were out of step. Way, way back in the olden times with I was in the Army, fine and precise close order drill was the main mark of distinction between units; it was a competitive thing. Units proudly practiced to outdo each other. The parade ground offered the opportunity for the unit to strut its stuff in front of the other units.
This, to me, is not a minor point. It takes a huge amount of self discipline to acquire and polish unit discipline, and the unit cohesion that goes along with it. When every motion of every foot and every hand is so coordinated that it looks like one man moving instead of a whole unit moving is paramount to the men becoming a team, and acting as one, but together.
How well a unit parades is the first indication of its team spirit, which is to say, its unit cohesion.
Every unit I saw march in yesterday's parade was out-of-step. The sole exception was the Third Infantry, known as the Old Guard, who basically are famous for never being out of step or not perfectly coordinated in every movement. But every other unit I say was "ragged" in their movements, or someone was out of step. That included the maroon berets of the Airborne, the tan berets of the Rangers and the green berets of the Special Forces. Go back and look at the videos yourself if you don't believe me.
The proudest and most glorious military units were marching like a bunch of raw recruits, or like they were out for a stroll, or like they were enjoying themselves so much they just didn't give a damn. Like they weren't proud of their units, and didn't care enough to highlight their unit distinction when on parade in front of all of America and all of the world.
2. There were women and homosexuals in storied combat units. The women were highly visible, the homos were not, but we all know that they are there. Clinton's "don't ask, don't tell" became Obama's "bring 'em out in the open", which led to Biden's use of drag queens in recruitment ads.
Secretary Hegseth ordered the trannies out of the military, but he has been silent on the homos so far, and the only thing he has said about ladies in the infantry is that they have to meet the same physical requirements as the men.
Not good enough, to me.
Unit cohesion means the guy next to you depends on you, and you depend on him. For the mission of the unit, as well as for your very life. The chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The smallest guy in the unit ought to be able to carry the biggest guy in the unit out of the line of fire, or he shouldn't be in the unit. The unit has to depend on him; if they can't depend on him, he shouldn't be in the unit.
I would not want to serve alongside any woman who couldn't so much as lift me off of the ground let alone carry me any distance quickly. What's a 120 lb. woman going to do with a 100 pound combat pack other than sit on it? Don't tell me they haven't lowered any standards or changed them to suite feminine needs just to get women into combat units to begin with.
If they can't carry as much, run or walk as fast and as long, and then physically attack and win against a big strong man, then what the hell are they doing in the unit who's job it is to do those things?
Women should not have any combat MOS, be in any combat unit, be on any ship, plane or vehicle that will go into combat, or be living in any common sleeping, showering or rest room accommodations with men. That's just a matter of simple common sense.
But the homos may be a worse problem. Back when I served, being a homo got you a dishonorable discharge. In fact, fornication or adultery could get you court marshalled or discharged. That was then and this is now, I guess.
I cannot think of anything more destructive of unit cohesion than a homosexual in the unit. Would you like to shower with a homo? Would you like to sleep in a two man pup tent with a homo? Life in a military unit is extremely close, and most normal men do not want to get that close to any homo.
With Marxocrat Party prompting homosexuality has been mainstreamed so thoroughly in America that Marxocrat courts and judges and various levels of government treat it as though there was a,
- legal right for someone to be a homosexual, and,
- a legal obligation for everyone to respect that right.
Speak against that legal absurdity and you could be legally penalized, and socially condemned as a "homophobe", a politically created mental illness that does not exist in fact. It goes right along with the absurdities that homos are born that way and can't help it, therefore, the rest of the sane world has to accommodate, bless and "live with" people of that persuasion, including live very closely with them, and even celebrate their psychotic condition.
That's what gay pride is all about; the celebration of an affliction of a serious mental sexual identity psychosis.
Today it is taught in American schools as a good and honorable condition that all young students ought to think about trying for themselves. That's what all the forced close associations of drag queens with little children all over America is all about: the creation and careful grooming of future twisted perverts.
So that sums up my only problems with the 250 anniversary parade of the Army. The rest of it was glorious. It was a good thing, overall. It just could have been better.
Meanwhile, all over America, the Marxocrats were fielding counter parades and demonstrations. We showed some of their preferred flags in the recent treatment of the Marxocrat Party's No-Go-Zones, and the American flag was not among then except when they were burning or desecrating it.
You can judge a political party by the flags it waves and parades with, and the "No Kings" marchers, totally out of step, marched under the unit flags of Mexico, Palestine, Hamas, Sodom, The Transsexual Psychosis, BLM, Antifa, and all other forms of anti-American Marxism, Islam and Hedonism.
"No Kings" is a screwball thing to march for anyway, because Trump is no king, otherwise he wouldn't be haggling so much to get the One Big Beautiful Bill through congress; he would just enact it, on his own.
The only people trying to become kings are Marxocrats, especially Marxocrat district judges, who are trying hard to take over the executive branch of government and do themselves all the things the President is supposed to be doing, and more. We're on the other side of that. 250 years ago, the Continental Army began to overthrow King George III.
The Marxocrats have everything ass backwards, as usual.
Many more years US Army, and many more years President Trump.
