Vic Biorseth, OWM; http://www.CatholicAmericanThinker.com
Once upon a time, when this website was born, there were two ways to submit your thoughts – a private way, via the Contact-Me page, for those who didn’t wish to be identified in public, and a public way, via the “Add Comment” page. Almost everybody used the private method; almost nobody used the public method, and it didn’t take too long for the multiple conversations to become impossible to keep up with.
I have eliminated the private Contact Me feature in favor of the public ADD COMMENT form at the bottom of every page on this site. My reasons have more to do with available time than anything else. Far too many correspondents were pulling me deeper and deeper into private email dialogues, and in almost every case the topic was related to multiple other private email dialogues with other individual private correspondents. I found that I was saying the exact same things to multiple people in multiple private dialogues. It just got to be too much to keep up with.
This website is a one man show, and it is a part-time, hobby type activity. I have a full time job, a house to maintain, family, social life and religion requirements that all need their due. This means that, these days I don’t have a whole lot of spare time, and I frequently get well over a hundred emails a day, and some days a whole lot more. So, whatever issue or topic you want to address, submit the form at the bottom of the most appropriate webpage and it will notify me.
If you want to remain anonymous don’t use your real name and don’t include your email or other identifying attributes. Whatever you submit is subject to be published in an update of the comments on whatever page it was submitted from.
If you want to start a new topic, or start your own personal BLOG on some topic, use the Submit an Article page to do it. If it is decent and thought provoking, I will publish it, and put a link to it in the right hand column. (When the current, ongoing website conversion work is done, that right-column list of links will appear on every page in this website.)
Please note that I do not sell, give or otherwise provide any of your information to anyone for any reason. Period. That being said, whatever you submit gets published in the comment section after the page where you submitted it. Again, let me repeat: If you don’t want to be identified to the whole world, then don’t use your real name. If you don’t want your email address published, then leave it blank.
Adding comments on this website is not an automatic feature. Some time back I tried two different automatic blogging packages, and quickly abandoned them, because they allowed the vulgarity and crudeness normally associated with atheists, Marxists and Democrats to get through too many times. I don’t want any of that on this site. I insist on personal editorial authority over what gets published on my own website. This is a monitored site, in which nothing gets updated to it unless and until I physically do something. Because I have a life outside of this website that means there will almost always be a delay in updating your submissions.
The only editing I will do to any submission will involve correcting misspellings and minor grammatical errors, when and only when it is clear that I can do it without changing your original meaning. I can take criticism; even caustic criticism. I am not thin skinned, and neither should you be. Be prepared to be challenged. Of course, really gross submissions will simply be deleted immediately. Keep it clean.
In the interest of keeping discussions at a higher reasoned level, submissions that I now refer to as “speed-bump philosophy” or bumper-sticker sloganeering with no real reasoned argument or good evidences behind them will similarly be ignored. I get a lot of that.
Right below the “Comment” block and any comments you will find the text of the submission rules that should appear at the bottom of every page, right before the opportunity to make a submission.

You or your readers might want to comment on the following:
Carol Byrne has commented, and so have I. this article uncritically views DD as already a "saint"!
Note, to submitter named “servant_of_the_most_high” on submission date-time stamped Sat Nov 03 12:40:11 2012 –
Your submission referred entirely to the Blessed Polarization page, and so that is where I put your comment if you’re looking for it. Your comment triggered me to go ahead and convert that page, rather than continue adding comments to the old un-converted page. Thanks, and God Bless.

I haven't been on your site for a long time; I get such a kickoff of (rare) people like you.
You're a great example of a well-rounded, multi-dimensional, Renaissance man.
It's great to see what people are capable of and you inspire me, as well as many others I'm sure.

Thank you. ChurchMilitant.tv is linked to in the right column of every webpage on this website. I was introduced to it some time ago and absolutely love it. I wish it was on a TV channel.
Ann Barnhardt is completely new to me. Just went to her blog, and I think I'm in love, in a purely Platonic way. That's what I call a really good old Catholic American kick-ass girl.

Vic, you are such a wonderful writer - please stop using "different than" in your writings. Every time I see it, but especially in an otherwise magnificently written article, it grates like a fingernail acrss the blackboard!!!!
Date: Sun Dec 01 14:55:07 2013
From: Vic Biorseth
Pardon my confusion; asking me to stop using "different than" is different than asking me to replace different than with something else. What would you have me replace different than with?

Just found you website. Good work!
I just finished a course in Catholic Church history and it seems the church has always been full of corruption and weasels just like today. With just enough good men and help of the Holy Spirit to save the church in the nick of time.
It seems to be getting bad again and when the socialist pope starts to rant about global warming and economics I am afraid my head will explode!
Please note the language and tone of this monitored Website. This is not the place to stack up vulgar
one-liners and crude rejoinders. While you may support, oppose or
introduce any position or argument, submissions must meet our
standards of logical rigor and civil discourse. We will not
participate in merely trading insults, nor will we tolerate participants merely
trading insults. Participants should not be
thin-skinned or over sensitive to criticism, but should be prepared to
defend their arguments when challenged. If you don’t really have a
coherent argument or counter-argument of your own, sit down and don’t
embarrass yourself. Nonsensical, immoral or merely insulting submissions will
not be published here. If you have something serious to contribute to
the conversation, back it up, keep it clean and keep it civil. We humbly
apologize to all religious conservative thinkers for the need to even say
these things, but the New Liberals are what they are, and the internet is what it is.
If you fear Leftist repercussions, do not use your real name and
do not include email or any identifying information.
Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.
In America, religion is not mere window dressing and citizenship is not a spectator sport.
Do not allow our common destiny as a whole people to just happen without your input.
Welcome to my website.
