All matter may be categorized as either living, nonliving and dead. Beginning from the sub-atomic levels we see an ordered progression of complexity from electrons, protons and neutrons which form atoms, and collections of identical atoms form elements. Collections of atoms of various elements form molecules which in turn form organelles, for example cell walls and membranes, mitochondria and nuclei which, among others form cells which are the smallest unit of life.
All living things undergo certain metabolic processes such as taking in nutrients and excreting waste, growth, movement, sensitivity and reproduction and are classified by Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus and Species. Membership in one of these categories is ultimately determined by the chromosome pairs composed of amino acids in the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). What differentiates a human being (Homo sapiens) from a redwood tree or a sperm whale is the number and arrangement of chromosome pairs in the DNA contained in the cell nucleus.
Human cells may be haploid or diploid, depending on whether they contain a single or a double strand of DNA. Sex cells, such as sperm cells or egg cells are haploid while the remainder of the cells in the body are diploid. When a sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell, a new individual is created, and that individual is unique in that it contains DNA that is a combination of the haploid strands contributed by each parent.
Left to itself, a fertilized human egg (zygote) will undergo cell differentiation and division (mitosis) and will subsequently develop into an embryo and then to a fetus which is an unborn child. This prenatal stage ends at delivery and the human being continues to develop into an infant, to a child, adolescent, youth, adult and senior citizen.
From the moment a human egg cell is fertilized by a human sperm cell and continuing throughout the lifespan of the individual until death, that individual is classified as Homo sapiens, aka a human being. At no point is it a "potential human being" or a "parasite", "invader" or other pseudonym.
Everything written to this point is consistent with what has been printed in biological texts for at least 100 years. This information is presented to students in elementary schools, high schools, colleges and universities and should be common knowledge.
Abortion is therefore a human rights issue. I see three options: 1) You believe that ALL human beings are endowed with human rights by God at the moment of conception. 2) You believe that SOME human beings are endowed with human rights by God at the moment of conception. 3) You believe that human beings are endowed with human rights by other human beings at some point in time by another human being. For what it's worth, choices 2) and 3) were those shared by people like Marx, Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, Che, Maduro, Chavez as well as every member of ISIS, al Qaeda and the Taliban.
Therefore, You either believe that genus and species are determined by DNA, or you don't. You either believe that human beings have 23 chromosome pairs, or you don't. You either believe that a pregnant human female is carrying an unborn human being, or you don't. You either believe that all human beings have human rights, or you don't. You either believe that a mother should be allowed to kill her children, or you don't.

The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.

Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus Christ; Matt 7:13-15
"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator’s supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights.”--Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others."--St. Francis of Assisi
