Do American Indians (and India-Indians) Practice Earth Idolatry?
There is but one and only one Creator God, and all creation owes its very existence to Him and to Him Alone.

Our Anti-American American government is trying desperately to keep the Wuhan Lab Virus Superstition going, and to make us into an unthinking, obedient nation of terrified Covidiacs. But it ain't working. We've broken out of the stupid stupor, and gone back to mask-less, jab-less life as usual, as the now re-opened local festivals prove.
They are jammed with heavier-than-ever festival-needing mobs of Americans, without masks and without fear. For years and years, the biggest one around here was the sauerkraut festival (which hasn't happened yet this year), but recent smaller festivals have been outdoing it in crowd size.
People are now doing the "sauerkraut shuffle" in all the normally much smaller events that are now popping back into existence all around us
(Sauerkraut Shuffle: Take one step forward, two steps back, three to the side, and shuffle-shuffle-shuffle. (Repeat, to the other side.))
We can't even imagine what the actual sauerkraut festival is going to be like this year. Many people we know stopped going to it long ago because "it's just too crowded".
They ain't seen nothin' yet.
At a recent local one, the Corn Festival in Fairborn, one of Dayton's surrounding towns, we got our corn-on-the-cob, and our ice-cream, and our entertainment. We watched the cloggers, which we love to watch, and then - we got to see and hear this weird kind of almost but not quite American Indian "music", sans any kind of discernible melody.
It was called "Tribal Drums And Flutes" by a group called Tribal Thunder.
We have in the past gone to "Pow Wow" events, and this was not one of those; it was different. It was mostly flutes, an Australian Aborigine didgeridoo, and a guy with a hanging Indian (from India) gong and a bunch of different colored bowls. Each one, struck with a little drumstick, would make a tiny little ringing bell sound of a different note. And when he rubbed the head of a drumstick around the perimeter of any of the bowls, they made humming sounds of different notes.
(I couldn't even hear that. My wife heard it and told me about it. All I knew was what I saw, which was a guy rubbing a drumstick around and around a bowl. I have about a 20% loss of hearing which I blame, rightly or wrongly, on the war, and sometimes use as an excuse for not hearing a lot of stuff. But I couldn't even hear the sound of the rubbed bowls.)
So this was not anything like what we have seen and heard at any other American Indian event. It was a mixture; American Indian, Australian Aborigine and Indian-from-India gongs and tinklers and bowls.
There was no discernible melody, nor was there any spoken or sung words, except at the initial introduction, in which the head guy, John De Boer, did a crowd-participation thing in which he shouted some tribal language word or two, and induced the crowd to shout it back, until some sentence or other was completed. I didn't participate, because if I don't know what I'm saying, I won't say it. It was probably innocent enough, but totally foreign.
But in trying to make sense out of the sounds, they only thing we came away with was that the performers were all imagining themselves into some kind of mystical connection with creation, which is real, and not mystical. There are two worlds, this one, which is natural, and the one to come, which is supernatural. And if one of them is mystical, this one ain't it.
As we said in the Rebellion page,
Those who most love creation - hunters, fishermen, campers, bird-watchers, animal lovers, plant lovers, tourists, photographers, etc. - but who do not believe it is all created out of nothing, do not see themselves as what they are, which is, idolaters. They have made an idol out of creation. They see creation as being sacred, and man as being evil, because they see mankind as being destructive of sacred creation, or, as they put it, nature.
This was a little different, as these Tribal Thunder people maybe didn't see mankind as unnatural or evil, but in need of connection with a holy or sacred total creation. And their 'music', or sounds, was (I think) making the connection. They were having an imaginary mystical experience, connecting with all of somehow "mystical" creation.
But creation is real; creation isn't holy. Only the Creator is holy.
It reminded me of a many years ago conversation with a Comanche rancher from out west somewhere, who was wearing his Indian regalia and participating in a Pow Wow event we attended in Ohio. He invited me to join in a dance, sort of shuffling along around a drum, solely because I was a veteran. Was this a religious thing, I asked, and yes, it was a 'connection' of all warriors with the Great Spirit. When I declined he seemed confused and upset; and after the dance he sought me out to talk about it. We had a nice talk; I think he was moved more toward my position (Catholic) than I was toward his.
I can pray to and give honor to one God and to Him only, and to no other. And He is clearly identified as Jesus Christ, the One God in Three Persons, recognized and worshiped most properly in the Roman Catholic Church.
This whole thing about sacred feathers of eagles which only a warrior could touch without committing some sort of sacrilege made a created thing somehow sacred; an idol. Something to be treated as if it were holy. But it is real; it is created; it has it's creator, just as we do. The Creator is holy; the creation is not. Creation is good; but not holy.
Only one is holy.
The Comanche rancher (I don't remember his name) was a 'non-denominational' evangelical Protestant, and an American Indian by heritage. He had to think a bit about creation, and how all that we know as 'reality' came to be created. As we put it in the Universe Of Lies treatment,
While science busies itself trying to describe the reality of things and the reality of their own very being, the ignored and unobserved elephant in the scientific laboratory is the Creator, Jesus Christ, the Lord thy God.
It's all right there in the first chapter of John, verses 1-14, which are read aloud as the Last Gospel of every Latin Rite Mass. The Word is identified as God. All things were made by Him: and without Him was made nothing that was made. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He was the light of the world, but men preferred darkness, and did not comprehend the light.
It's all right there, and it's been there all along, while man searches the physical world for the ultimate truth. And yet, the ultimate Truth is standing right in front of man. There are none so blind as they who will not see.
Bottom line, the Gospel has been spoken in your hearing; it's a take it or leave it, all or nothing, proposition, freely offered to you for your decision. It cannot be blended with anything else. Everlasting life hangs in the balance of your decision about it.
The World's Two Great Life-Guiding Love-Letters
- You should read the Bible as if it were a love letter from God written very specifically to you, personally.
Granted, it was written to and for all of mankind, but you need to take it personally, because it was intended to be taken personally. It is your guide, your path to eternal life, if you will take it. It was written to you with love. We all come to God by our own free will decision, or not at all.
Eternal life is offered to you out of love of the Creator for His Creation. Take the offer, giving thanks, praise and worship. - You should read the Declaration and the Constitution as if they were love letters from the American nation's founders, written very specifically to you, personally.
Granted, they were written to and for all Americans, who would choose to be Americans, of whatever sex, race or ethnic heritage, but you need to take them personally, because they were intended to be taken personally. They are your guides and your path to Self-Rule, i.e., Liberty, in this life, so that you may be free to make the proper decision to love and worship Jesus, your Creator, and thus attain life everlasting.
Two paths are laid before you: the path of this world, ruled by Satan, and the harder, more difficult path that leads to life everlasting.
It's your choice, and no one else's. Thank God that here, in America, you are still free to choose.
Chose rightly, while you still can.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.
