In a special edition of The Remnant Underground Michael Matt discusses the passing of Pope Benedict XVI.
We have loved Benedict and loved his pontificate. We only took issue with his speech to the UN in which he seemed to bless and approve a globalist, one-world government, written about in Opposing The Pope On Globalism. It would be nice if a global government ended hunger and crisis and danger, but that ain't gonna happen in this world. People are always better off feeding, sheltering and taking care of themselves and their families than being fed, sheltered and made dependent on any government to do those things for them.
When cultural morality is right, ranking priorities in the absolute order of
The whole culture prospers, and families, churches and charities take care of the unfortunates far better than any government could do it. There will always be those who reject country, family and God, and will not be helped by country, family or God. Like the Prodigal Son, they will be apart from moral society until and unless they relent and repent of their error and come home.
If they don't, they suffer the consequences, and there is no blame for those consequences that may be assigned to country, family or God.
Do you see how and why we cannot join hands with everyone on earth?
Jesus told us, in the parable of the Good Samaritan, who our neighbor is, and it was not the robber, not the Priest and not the Levite. It was the one who showed his neighborliness through his actions.
It is not ours to know how God judges anyone; but mankind on earth may eventually know how history finally judges the man who restored the Latin Mass on the one hand, and saddled the Church with Bergoglio on the other. How do we even describe him? a Modernist who leaned Traditional? A Traditionalist Modernist? Can there even be such a thing?
In our eyes, he was a good man and a good Pope. The right-hand man of John Paul the Great, who was less than perfect himself, as we all are. But, first as Cardinal Ratzinger and then as Benedict XVI, this great man kept the whole Church from sliding into the heresy of syncretism, a slide that began with Vatican II, in which Benedict (as Ratzinger) was a very important contributing Periti (expert adviser).
It was a difficult time in which nothing was clear, and perhaps no one was pure. We believe his intentions were good and he tried his best. We wish we could believe the same thing about Francis.
But we just can't.
No one is going to heaven through Pachamama. In fact, no one is going to heaven who, like Pope Francis, stands in open denial of the dogma of EENS.
The least tolerant, and most cruelly intolerant people on earth today are all the ones who claim that everyone who opposes their point of view are intolerant.
God is tolerant; Satan is intolerant.
No one is dragged kicking and screaming against his will into heaven.
You get there of your own free will personal life decisions or not at all.
You cannot say that about any form of Marxism, be it Socialism, Communism, Fascism or Nazism. All forms of Marxism deny your free will decision making, and are intolerant of God, family and country.
Islam similarly denies citizen free will decision making, and rabidly opposes unbelievers in Islam, and any alegiance to non-Islamic family and non-Islamic country
Similarly, we see today Femi-Nazi, Homo-Nazi, Racial-Nazi and Eco-Nazi movements that that are absolutely intolerant of everyone outside of their movements and/or are dedicated to God, Family and Country.
If and when a New World Order Global Government is established, who, among these diverse groups, will be in charge of it, and just who do you suppose their "intolerable" victims will be?
Do you still think tolerant Christian patriotic families will be tolerated?
May Pope Benedict XVI rest in eternal peace.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.

Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
Broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus Christ; Matthew 7:13–15
"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator's supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights." --Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others." --St. Francis of Assisi
