On this the 5th Sunday after Pentecost the Scriptures remind us to be of one mind and one spirit in the brotherhood of the Church. And to be extra charitable, forgiving and even to suffer injustice at the hands of a brother without complaint as an exercise in self control and as an example to others.
This website has been taken to task on this issue more than once, because we so strongly criticize, anathematize and, yes, curse fellow Americans and fellow Catholics who have become or been made into irreconcilable, belligerent, politically activist and militating Socialists, Islamists or Hedonists. Islamo-Commie-Homo, which is to say, anti-Christ, anti-Church, anti-American, Anti-sovereign nation with borders, anti-sovereign citizen and even anti-human being.

Lesson from the first letter of St. Peter the Apostle
1 Pet 3:8-15.
Beloved: Be all like-minded in prayer, compassionate, lovers of the brethren, merciful, reserved, humble; not rendering evil for evil, or abuse for abuse, but contrariwise, blessing; for unto this were you called that you might inherit a blessing. For, 'He who would love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good, let him seek after peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are upon the just, and His ears unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.' And who is there to harm you, if you are zealous for what is good? But even if you suffer anything for justice’ sake, blessed are you. So have no fear of their fear and do not be troubled. But hallow the Lord Christ in your hearts.

At that time, Jesus said to His disciples: Unless your justice exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘You shall not kill’; and that whoever shall kill shall be liable to judgment. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’, shall be liable to the fire of Gehenna. Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift before the altar and go first to be reconciled to your brother; and then come and offer your gift.

S. By the words of the Gospel may our sins be blotted out.
We submit that these verses and all of the many similar verses restrict this forgiving and loving to brethren and neighbors. Brethren refers to siblings, members of the extended family and also members of the Church, town, state or nation. Likewise, the word neighbor applies equally to people in the neighborhood, people of the nation and people of other friendly nations.
Our Lord Jesus told us who our neighbor is, and perhaps more importantly who our neighbor is not in the Parable of the Good Samaritan [Luke 10:25-37]. The good neighbor was the Samaritan, and most certainly was not the robber. The Priest and the Levite may have been poor neighbors, but the robber was an anti-neighbor. He was the antithesis of a neighbor.
He was not to be trusted as a neighbor and richly deserved to be cursed, shunned and anathematized as a criminal by all good neighbors. Separated out from the whole world of good neighbors and brethren.
I stand by all my previous anathemas of all those who are Communist, Islamic and LGBTQALPHABETSOUP, including those who are Catholics and those who are American citizens.
And including all of the self-declared mortal enemies of the Church and the American nation, whether organizations or nations, among them, Iran, Afghanistan, China, North Korea, Russia, COMINTERN, CPUSA, DSA, USCCB, AUSCP, Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, Maine, New York, Washington, Oregon, California, Illinois, Minnesota, the Marxocrat Party and RINO Republicrats.
And if it cannot be shown that elections were stolen in the US States in that list, then it must be admitted that their majority voting populations are rabidly anti-Christian, antisemitic and anti-American.
Just look at the Governors, Mayors and Legislators they have elected and are electing to office, their opposition to borders and sovereignty, their criminal aiding and abetting of trespassing illegal aliens and their criminal obstruction of justice against immigration and customs law enforcement.
