Devolution of life, and everything, is an unavoidable scientific conclusion. The proponents of Darwinian Evolution have it ass backwards, proving that the smarter man thinks he is the dumber he gets. Evolution has no real scientific support. Evolutionary theory is solely supported by scientific consensus on scientific conjecture, i.e., a scientifically popular guess. (See the Darwinism pages.)
There is nothing scientific about a guess, no matter how "scientific" or "educated" the guess may be. It's still just a guess.
Devolution, on the other hand, is based on the laws of entropy and the larger laws of thermodynamics. You need to look these subjects up and study them, because, odds are, you were not taught about them in your formal education.
Entropy is an unavoidable fact.
Entropy - the measure of disorder in a system - is related to temperature, and temperature is constantly seeking its natural resting point, which is absolute zero. Temperature always moves from a warmer to a cooler place and/or condition. Accompanying this cooling of any system is a diminishing ability for heat to do work, because heat itself is dissipating from the system.
The thermal energy that does mechanical work in any system is always trying to dissipate and never trying to increase in that system. This is entropy: the natural movement from order to disorder and eventual chaos, or nonsense, or, (perhaps) non-existence.
The state of entropy (or disorder) can never decrease; it can only increase. Entropy is inescapably on a one way street. At the end of that one way street is absolute zero for the entire universe. Absolute zero means absolute resting place of ultimate chaos, where nothing happens. And perhaps where nothing is.
Hence, the displacement of purely subjective and unscientific evolution with scientifically based devolution. Material things, including living things, are becoming more simple over time, not more complex.
Complexity did not naturaly "evolve", because complexity cannot naturally increase, on it's own. If the laws of thermodynamics be true, then everything, including every life form, started out complex, and has been devolving into simpler forms ever since.
Why do old cars just rust and rot away on their own? Because that is what old cars do over time. Why did some species go extinct? Because that is what all species eventually must do. Why do stars die? Because that is what all stars eventually must do. What is at the center of a black whole? Perhaps a temperature of absolute zero where there is nothing and nothing happens.
What we have here is solid scientific evidence supporting Creationism.
Staring us right in the face is the irrefutable fact that complexity devolves into simplicity; whatever is highly complex started out being highly complex, and is gradually becoming more simple.
Intelligent Design is the inevitable scientific conclusion.
Don't overthink it. Just look at the evidence.
And give thanks to God, for He is Great, and his Mercy is never ending. He Who Is, and Who offers us everlasting life, if we will only accept it.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.

Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus Christ; Matt 7:13-15
"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator’s supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights.”--Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others."--St. Francis of Assisi
