Independence Day in America, like America herself, is unique and exceptional in all the world. There is nothing else quite like it. It is a celebration of the unique-in-all-the-world Individual Independence of the Individual American Citizen. It isn't merely the independence of the entire nation from any royalty, nobility, or any man.
It is the Independence of the Citizen from tyrannical control by his own legitimate Government. And that particular form of independence is absolutely unique in all the world.
America was Constituted to
A nation in which all men stand equal before the same law, and in which the only ruler is the law. The sole American Ruler is a document; a piece of paper, and no man. The Nation, and everyone in it, is ruled by fixed law, in the form of the Constitution, and all are equally subject to it.
The men who occupy the temporary offices of President, Senator, Congressman and Justice are not our rulers; they are our Representatives; they are Constitutionally authorized to legislate, enforce and adjudicate law, but not to "rule" in the sense of all other national governments.
They, too, are equally subject to the exact same Constitutional law.
That is what is "Exceptional" about America, that that is why the term American Exceptionalism resonates, and is true. No one else has ever done this, or even tried to do it. If it wasn't perfectly executed from the first day, it was definitely self-improved over time. The Constitution allowed for national self-improvement. Abolition of slavery took longer than most of the ratifying signators expected, and it even took major bloodshed to accomplish. But it was accomplished, and legally, if imperfectly, all American citizens today stand equal to each other, and to President Trump, before the Constitution.
What citizen of any other nation can say that?
The law is fixed; only opinions and interpretations are subject to change. The law is clear. The Constitution is a legal document, far simpler, shorter and easier to read and understand than the Bible. Anyone can read it, and everyone should read it. It is what sets us apart. It is our only real Ruler.
The American Citizen Constitutional Rights are all Individual Rights. The Constitutional Right to Private Property is an Individual Citizen Right. American Liberty is an Individual Citizen Right.
It is Free Individual American Citizens who made America Great.
Not the "Collective", and and certainly not the Government.
Contrary to Marxist (and Marxocratic) evil and erroneous theory, it does not take a "Village" or a Commune to raise a child; it takes a free biological father and mother, in a free and biologically normal family, to raise and educate their own children in their own way.
Nor does it take a Village or a Commune or a Government to make a business and to create Wealth. It takes a free citizen with protected rights - which are protected even against the government itself - to make business, to generate wealth, and to make America greater and greater and greater.
The Founders knew, and the Framers knew, and the Ratifiers knew, what Tocqueville would later record for posterity in his great work Democracy in America: Citizen Morality was the key to National Greatness.
That America had become a great nation because her people were predominantly a "good" people, in the Judaeo-Christian sense of adherence to the Moral Law.
Only a highly moral people may be as free as the American Constitution encourages them to be. An immoral people will become a self-destructive people, just as immorality itself is self-destructive. What works for individuals works for nations. If a man goes against nature, and against the natural law, he harms himself. It is the same with nations.
So it is two co-dependent things that make America great, through and only through her independent-of-rulers citizenry: Liberty, and Morality.
Take either one away, and you will soon lose the other. Take either one away, and America, as Constituted, falls.
Marxism, in all forms opposes these American Constitutional principles. The Marxocrat Party, as fundamentally Marxist, opposes the Constitution. Consistently, Marxocrats describe our Constitution as outmoded, or as an "organic, living breathing document subject to re-interpretation to fit current realities", or, as obsolete, written for a bygone era and no longer applicable.
But, "current realities" notwithstanding, reality itself does not change. How could it? If it ever changed, it would not be reality. The law - our Constitution - is based upon the unchanging reality of what is right, and what is wrong. Right and wrong is a timeless concept; it is a fixed reality.
This is where faithful and correctly taught Catholics have a leg up on the rest of the American citizenry. We have our Creed, upon which we base everything in life. So long as we have our Creed and we live in proper accordance with our Credal Faith, we can survive and outlive not only a corrupted secular government, but even a corrupted Catholic hierarchy.
We see today Catholic clerics practicing and teaching sin and even crime; engaging in criminal activity, and involved in a massive, global criminal conspiracy. But our Credal Faith shields us from all of their immorality and all of their false teaching and all of their error.
We see today a whole political Party that is opposed to our Constitution, and opposed to our Morality, and opposed to our Liberty, and opposed to our Property. They even oppose our American President giving an Independence Day Speech on Independence Day, of all things. But our Constitution is our weapon of defense, and of offense, against them.
We are, after all Americans, and it is our Constitution that describes exactly what that means.
Today, we celebrate our national birth. And we celebrate each other, as free and highly moral individual citizens.
Pay no attention to all the naysayers on the anti-American Left.
Give thanks to God for what we have, for what we are, and for what we can be, collectively as well as individually.
And ask Him humbly to bless us all, to bless the USA, and to strengthen our Faith, our Hope and our Love. And pray for Divine protection for all of our servicemen out there somewhere in harm's way, at great risk for us all, and for our beloved Constitution. Putting their very lives on the line for America, and for what it means to be an American.
Remember to give thanks and special prayers for all in uniform this day.
Let us all reaffirm that In God we Trust; and may God Bless America.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.

Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.
In America, religion is not mere window dressing and citizenship is not a spectator sport.
Do not allow our common destiny as a whole people to just happen without your input.
Seek the Truth; find the Way; live the Life; please God, and live forever.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus Christ; Matt 7:13-15
"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator’s supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights.”--Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others."--St. Francis of Assisi
Truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.—Winston Churchill
The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.—Ayn Rand
