Trumpian International Deal-Making Politically Weaponized Into A Form Of Pure Political Torture

Most anything can be and has been politically weaponized. Envy; greed; avarice; fame; climate; temperature; weather; pleasure; sex; treasure; power; position; favor; you name it, it has been politically weaponized. But maybe not everything, yet.
What is the secret of Donald Trump's outrageous success after success after success, in business as well as in national and international politics, against supposedly the smartest people in the world?
It might be that President Trump is a "people-person" and just about all of his adversaries, at home and abroad, are so aloof and disconnected from the people they supposedly represent that they've been living in a dream world of their own creating, and Trump is just bringing "people-reality" crashing down on them. He isn't even manipulating them, as politicians usually do; he is just pointing to, highlighting and forcefully supporting reality, to them, and to the whole world, all at the same time.
From where I'm sitting it sure looks like Ayatollah Khamenei might be starting to smoke and squirm as if he were skewered and turning over slow roasting coals.
It started out as a call for negotiations on how to end Iran's nuclear weapon ambitions and prove it, with a 60 day time limit before "bad things" would start happening. The whole 60 days was spent with nothing more than the belligerent rantings of the Ayatollah and an unmoved Iranian position. On day 61, as Israel steadily took out Iranian military leadership, military capability, nuclear sites, missiles, and even threatened the Ayatollah himself, Trump's demand changed from ending the nuclear program to total surrender.
The Ayatollah, as the leader of the unique Shia-Iranian death-cult, maybe hoped to be the one to signal the return of the Mahdi and the end of the world. Except that now, thanks to Israel's latest rapid crushing of most of his offensive capabilities, he might not be able to strike America with any kind of significant meaningful blow, precipitating the return of the 12th Imam al-Mahdi. Which means, his life, his Ayatollahship and his whole government will have been sacrificed, for nothing.
And then, instead of delivering the final blow, President Trump announces that he will "make his decision" in two weeks or so, prolonging the agony. Meanwhile, the Israeli special operators in Iran are less opposed in their own attempting to take out the deepest underground nuclear targets, and the Iranian population, downtrodden and brutally ruled for the last 46 years, are less opposed and encouraged to rise up and take over their own government.
Nothing is certain any more in Iran.
So what happens when the two weeks are up, and the deepest underground nuclear targets have not been destroyed by Israeli operators?
Well, Trump could say he needs to give it more time, set a new deadline to be determined, and his demand for total surrender might change to the Ayatollah committing public suicide. Who knows? Trump is holding all the cards.
At the same time, China is being destabilized from within over economic instability over Trump's tariffs. China and Russia are racing to get valuable people and assets out of Iran before Iran falls, and there is now a major wedge being driven to separate Iran from the "Axis Of Evil" of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
At the same time, Trump's enemies in America are confounded by the fact that he has not, and apparently (to us) doesn't even need to actually take military action in Iran, which is what the Neocons want him to do, and the action the Marxocrats are hoping to pounce on once we are involved once again in another long drawn out foreign war.
Ultimately though, there may be no real way to get the underground sites without employing the GBU. If that's the way it is, that's the way it is. It will have to be done, whether anyone likes it or not. And if that means war, so be it. I am not a Neocon; I am a Neolib.
However, you can only temporarily negotiate with barbarians, and you cannot negotiate at all with any barbaric death cult such as that lead by the current Ayatollah of Iran. Whatever peace Christians, Jews or other non-Islamic people may negotiate with Islamic nations is temporary; it is a containment negotiation, aimed at, you rule your land and we'll rule ours, with the full understanding that Islam exists to conquer the world. That is its very purpose for being.
Death-cult Islam of the variety unleashed on the world in the 1979 Iranian revolution is an entirely other animal. It is suicidal, and happily so. It is suicidally murderous. There is no religious fanaticism to compare to Islamic religious fanaticism. They are, in a word, nuts.
Meanwhile, back home, the pro-Iranian, pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian, antismitic and anti-American Marxocrat Party, along with some RINOs and some Neocons, are driving a new wedge between Tulsi Gabbard and President Trump, by quoting her out of context, with the full support of Fox News among others. They quote part, but not all, of her testimony back in March.
Here is the full quote of Tulsi Gabbard's testimony to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence hearing for the Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community on March 26, 2025, with the pertinent points highlighted in bold:
Iran continues to seek to expand its influence in the Middle East, despite the degradation to its proxies and defenses during the Gaza conflict. Iran has developed and maintains ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and UAVs, including systems capable of striking U.S. targets and allies in the region. They’ve shown a willingness to use these weapons, including during a 2020 attack on US forces in Iraq and in attacks against Israel in April and October 2024. Iran’s cyber operations and capabilities also present a serious threat to U.S. networks and data. The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme leader Khomeini has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003. We continue to monitor closely if Tehran decides to reauthorize its nuclear weapons program. In the past year, we’ve seen an erosion of a decades long taboo in Iran on discussing nuclear weapons in public likely emboldening nuclear weapons advocates within Iran’s decision-making apparatus. Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons. Iran will likely continue efforts to counter Israel and press for U.S. military withdrawal from the region by aiding, arming, and helping to reconstitute its loose consortium of like-minded terrorists, actors, which it refers to as its “Axis of Resistance.” Although weakened, this collection of actors still presents a wide range of threats including to Israel’s population, U.S. forces deployed in Iraq and Syria, as well as U.S. and international military and commercial shipping and transit.
Note that the Marxocrats and RINOs who seek to divide and conquer the Trump administration all harp on the first bolded part of that quote, and never mention the second one. The first bold quoted contention was that of the IC, not of Tulsi Gabbard. The second bold quoted contention was that of Tulsi Gabbard. It is the IC, not Tulsi Gabbard, who is the liar here.
What a difference full context can make.
Where this will end depends on who's dealing, and how.
If Trump is at the table, you can most safely bet on him to win.
