Right and wrong are fixed forever. Only those solidly grounded in hard cold reality and/or the most highly moral among us know that.
In the view of everyone else, what's right or wrong for you might not be right or wrong for someone else. Right and wrong can change with the wind, with emotions, with the wants and needs of the moment and with, God help us, politically orchestrated psychological manipulations.
The fatal flaw in pure democracy is that the majority can be and most frequently is wrong.
That's why we are a constitutional republic and not a democracy.
The President and the Vice President are supposed to be on the same team 100% of the time in public, and any disagreements between them are supposed to be just between them, private, and not public. Once a President is elected, for the President's entire administration, all politics end, and the administration, including the Vice President, serves and drives the President's agenda.
J. D. Vance, in a move that looked like political posturing to me, broke that rule and publicly announced why he thought the mid-terms turned into a blue wave, and both houses of congress, six governorships and twelve state legislatures all flipped and went Marxocrat.
Trump did it.
Vance's big four reasons for the 2026 mid-term disaster:
- The Iran War
- Cost of Living and Inflation
- Not Putting America First
- The Need to Change Our Relationship With Israel
1. The Iran War
The only error on Trump's part was in not finishing the job started by Operation Midnight Hammer immediately. There should have been no letup, no pause and no mercy. Trump was right to light this fire, but he was averse to massive death and suffering of the Iranian people, and so he paused.
War is hell. He was right to start it, but again, war is hell. You either bring hell to the enemy's territory, or the enemy will bring hell to yours. Once it was started, it should have been finished, with complete victory, defined as no Ayatollahs left alive and the entire government taken out. If that meant some boots on the ground, whether ours, Israel's or anyone else's, the Republican Guard, too, should have been eliminated or at least decapitated and disassembled, and no longer in charge. There was and is no way any new government of Iran can establish itself while all those absolute fanatics are alive and in charge.
"No American boots on the ground" was a purely political rule, not a realistic one. And it should not have mattered whether it was popular or not. Wars should neither begin nor end based on the most popular opinion of the moment. Again, we are not a democracy. The President is elected to do not only what he promised he would do, but also to always do what is right.
Again, right and wrong do not change. Iran should not have nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. That's just simple common sense.
2. Cost of Living and Inflation
The vast majority of the American population pay little or no attention to current politics or the news of the day, and the majority of those who do pay attention to the news get all their news from the Marxocrat Party dominated fake news. That's why there's so much anti-Trump opinion out there opposing the majority MAGA population.
The cost of diesel fuel went up because the pause allowed Iran to menace ships in the straight of Hormuz, among other things. The rising cost of diesel drove up the cost of everything delivered by trucks and trains. While that was a temporary thing, most people didn't know it was temporary. That the Republicrats didn't do a good job of political messaging on that topic is true enough. However, look at the alternative to what Trump and some if not most of the Republicrats were doing about the cost of living.
Does anyone in their right mind think that the Marxocrats have ever, could ever or will ever do anything whatsoever to bring the prices of anything down? All of their policies, whatever else they are aimed at, are also aimed at the economic destruction of the USA, and you don't do that by bringing prices down and making the citizenry more comfortable.
Inflation is caused not by Trump policies, but by the FED.
The whole reason young people cannot afford to buy a house is all wrapped up the the refusal of the Marxocrat, anti-Trump FED to lower the interest rate, and all the episodes of "Quantitative Easing" by which they pump more dollars into the system without actually printing new dollars.
The interest rate today for a home mortgages should be somewere around 1%, but the FED won't go anywhere near that, because their politics won't allow it. Born of Woodrow Wilson and his party, the FED just declared itself independent of the US government, and the US government let them get away with that, and they have been operating for the benefit of the cabal of federal reserve bankers and the Marxocrat Party ever since.
Imagine that. A supposedly American agency holding American treasure and responsible for the printing and coining of US currency that holds itself to be totally and absolutely independent of the US government.
That makes it a foreign entity.
