Those who oppose Communism, Homosexualism and criminal activity in the Church are like Herod. The Pope said so. When I saw the article in LifeSite News I had to read it twice. According to Pope (Antipope?) Francis, it isn't any particular crisis that's bad, it's resistance to the crisis that's bad, because resistance leads to conflict. Can't have that.
Catholics are encouraged to not resist whatever kind of crisis pops up, but just go with the flow, and don't cause conflict, like Herod. Everything would just be so much more peaceful if nobody resisted any crisis and the Church could just keep "evolving" and getting better, and looser, and more inclusive, every day and in every way.
"Crisis generally has a positive outcome, whereas conflict always creates discord and competition, an apparently irreconcilable antagonism that separates others into friends to love and enemies to fight. In such a situation, only one side can win." he says.
He said that conflict seeks to divide people into the guilty and the righteous, leading to a loss of the sense of common belonging, the growth of certain elitist attitudes and cliques that permit narrow and partial mindsets, which weaken the universality of our mission.
Crisis is normal; conflict is bad. Right.
So the mission, according to him, must be to include everyone on earth into the full sacramental life of the Church, without question or requirement. To avoid conflict. And don't even question what anyone believes, says or does. That might be divisive. As opposed to inclusive.
We see the same thing going on in America regarding the now glaringly obvious 2020 criminal election fraud, committed by the Marxocrat Party with a lot of aid from the Republicrat Party and the News Media.
And, we see the exact same go with the flow and go along to get along activism against correcting the criminal error and prosecuting the perps being championed by the likes of Brian Kilmeade, Dana Perino, Chris Christie, Mitch McConnell and the whole Mainstream Media.
Don't call out evil when you see it. Don't correct any error while you can. Opposing a crisis creates a crisis of its own, and resistance to a crisis is worse than just going with the flow. See?
Satan must be smiling.

Vic, what defines us as human is the search for meaning because of our separation from God. As Shel Silverstein wrote in a childlike book, “The missing piece”, the key in accepting what the “missing piece” is, is our being complete, our relationship with God.. with eyes of faith this is reasonable to presume.
So come, let us reason together.
The “danger” PP (poppa pack-man) is lying to us about is precisely what Jesus did. He confronted, challenged error and mans interpretation of the “missing piece” being their own power, prestige and money. ... rather being reversed in order as as St. Timothy put it, 1TIM6.. paraphrase “desire is the root of all evil. “ or “the love of money is the root of all evils..”. At. Timothy has sobering advice about following our “leaders”... pretty sobering in light of the “magisterium” currently in power.
As we await the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let our souls and hearts be turned to him., avoid the distraction of the evil one(s).
In the mess of words we will never come to the full knowledge of Christ...
So, let us keep our eyes on the Eucharist, pray for wisdom, not for pride but for God’s glory.

Thank you; that's a good one. Let me mull that over for awhile.
Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.
In America, religion is not mere window dressing and citizenship is not a spectator sport.
Do not allow our common destiny as a whole people to just happen without your input.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus Christ; Matt 7:13-15
"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator’s supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights.”--Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others."--St. Francis of Assisi
