In the August 30 issue of The Remnant, Michael Matt published In the Spirit of Francis: Pope Leo's Biggest Blunder asks the question, if Leo's Church has no anathemas except for Latin, is it still the Church?
It appears that the same Cultural Marxism driven Islamo-Commie-Homo movement trying to take over the Catholic Church is trying to take over the American government and all of Western Civilization. Through trickery and election cheating this movement has given us American President Joe Biden, and Popes Francis and Leo.
What seals the deal regarding one and not two revolutionary movements operating against the Church and America is the unmistakable enmity against all existing norms, rules, traditions, organizations and the status quo, whatever it is. If you look at the Communist Manifesto, that's exactly what it does. It is a violent revolution against everything that is.

It's a revolution against everything that is.
It revolts against Constitutions and laws just as much as it revolts against creeds, doctrines and traditions.
The Communist revolution doesn't care what it is revolting against, whether it is a democracy, a monarchy, a tyranny, a Church, a Synagogue, a Mosque, a parliamentary democracy, a business, a club or a boy scout troop. If it exists, Communism is against it and will try to infiltrate it to revolt against it and eventually overthrow it.
What's the difference between Marxocrat Party Big Tent Politics and post Vatican II Ecumenism and Synodality? Nothing. Both are all inclusive, except for excluding patriotic Americans and traditional Catholics. The Church must be "inclusive" of enemies of the Church and "exclusive" of Latin Mass Catholics, and the American nation must be "inclusive" of enemies of America and "exclusive" of American Patriots.
It's simple good versus evil.

Is there something "uncertain" about what the Church has always taught regarding the salvation of souls? In His parable of the Good Samaritan, should our Lord have corrected the young man and told him that the robbers, too, were our good neighbors? Did the theology of the Church "evolve" in the mind of Pope Francis to the point where he could bring a wooden idol of Pachamama into the Church and place it on the Altar of God?
As much as we have always loved Dolly Parton, as traditional Catholics we have to wince when we hear so many people, including ranking Catholic clerics, pronouncing with an air of absolute certainty that she just went straight to heaven, bypassing even purgatory. Since she never partook of the seven sacraments, and yet is said to have gone straight to heaven, why should anyone pay any attention to the sacraments? It looks like we don't need them. Since she was not in the Church Jesus founded, and she went straight up to heaven, why should any of us come into or remain in the Church? It looks like we don't need the Church, according to all who say Dolly showed us the way to bypass the Church and just go straight to heaven, by being "good", which Dolly Parton most assuredly was.
Being good, and doing good, is not enough. Of course, I'm just an old Trad, not an ordained cleric or a degreed theologian, so what do I know. But I know that I am expected to "keep His Commandments", all of them, keep apart from the world, and that means not even consorting with those who do not keep His Commandments and who keep apart from the Church, at the very least.
Eternal salvation is not a matter of opinion but a matter of reality. There are a blue million opinions but only one reality, and it does not change. Only opinions "evolve".
Reality does not evolve.
Lord God Jesus Christ is the Catholic Church. The Church is His body, and He is the Head of the Church. The Pope holds the keys to the Church, with the power to bind and to loose, in heaven and on earth. It looks like the Church - Jesus Christ - has been betrayed again, beginning, at least, with Pope Francis and continuing with Pope Leo XIV.
The betrayal of God in the Church is in close alignment with the betrayal of America, and the Marxocrat Party's "Big Tent" is the secular equivalent of the current "Synoadality" of the Vatican. In both cases, it is a movement out of legitimate authority. The authority of the Pope on the one hand, and the authority of the Constitution on the other.
Both are moving toward mob-rule in the guise of democracy, but both are anti-majority and pro-minority. Minorities are cobbled together and united to out-number the majority.
Both the Catholic Church and the nation of America are now welcoming to sodomites, abortionists, abortionettes, pagans, illegal aliens, criminals, transgenders, drag queens, Communists, Islamists, anarchists, and generally anyone and anything that opposes normalcy, naturalness, peace and the status quo.
Kind of like the Communist manifesto.
The final attack is on identity. Who the hell are we, if we have no doctrines and we have no laws and we have no borders?
Reality identifies; hyper-emotionalism blurs identity and reality. Hence, the Islamo-Commie-Homo revolution concentrates on emotions. In opposing all existing human organizations, the evil one turns our attention inward, to individual feelings, to the detriment of religion, family and nation.
Popular songs like Sammy Davis Jr.'s I've Gotta Be Me and Frank Sinatra's My Way highlight the theme. Not God's way; not the American way; not anyone's way but my way.
You are not what you actually are, but what you feel you are.
The revolutionary movement, through its conquered education, is now making children believe they are wrong gendered and alien to the natural order, and that the natural order is something unfairly arrayed against them. It is a movement that both makes crazy people, and seeks to convince the normal population that it needs to more carefully accommodate and welcome craziness into "normal" society, lest the crazy people go crazier and hurt themselves and others.
Is not a culture that accommodates craziness crazy?
The main attack is on identity.
Are we still Catholic? Are we still American?
Who the hell are we?
