We can hope and we can pray that Jesse Jackson was justified, but there is one Who justifies, and we are not him. Nevertheless, we can hope and pray. We can hope that Jesse Jackson was essentially a good man in whom the good outweighed the bad.
He stood with MLK on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during MLK's soul stirring "I have a dream" speech that electrified and improved America and the world, and that was most certainly a good thing. It brought tears to strong men's eyes and moved nearly all of civilized mankind toward brotherhood.
But it was also a time of,
- The transforming of the Democrat Party into the Marxocrat Party, dominated by anti-American Socialist revolutionary politics and anti-American political activism;
- The transforming of the original Democrat Party of the black slave trade, the Confederacy, the losing side of the Civil War, the formation of the KKK, the Black Codes, the Jim Crow laws and the Segregation Forever movement, into the Marxocrat Party that brought near total dependency of black America on government welfare, incited black rage against their political opposition, and successfully blamed the Republicrat Party, all of America and the whole white race for all the sins of their own past history.
Marxocrat Party control of education and news media certainly helped.
Note well that MLK, like Lincoln, was a Republicrat, not a Marxocrat.
It may be that Jesse Jackson, and even MLK himself, were fooled by the ever quietly advancing Cultural Marxism movement that was seeping into every aspect of American culture, and even revolutionizing the thinking of all levels of American government itself.
Jesse Jackson became one of the movers and shakers who could get demonstrators out in front of a business almost on a moment's notice, by a public charge of some racial sin, and then get the business to publicly apologize for the sin, correct the situation and, by the way, contribute to a "foundation" controlled by him. It became a lucrative career. "Race Baiting" became a way to gain a big political following and get very, very rich at the same time.
Banks back in those days drew red-line areas on maps around economically failing neighborhoods and would not grant many, or even any new mortgages to people in those areas because of the risk of failure to pay, foreclosures and the being stuck with virtually unsellable properties. Civil rights leaders like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton jumped on that opportunity like monkeys on a banana pile.
Many red line areas were predominantly black neighborhoods, and so it could be charged that the red lines were drawn for racial rather than economic reasons.
After virtually shutting down any such bank with giant demonstrations, getting them to modify or remove the red lines and grant risky home loans at their expense, publicly apologizing and, of course, making sizable donations to the civil rights causes, the demonstrations would be called off.
It got to the point where they didn't even have to call out the demonstrators. They would simply shake down the banks with the threat of demonstrations, and the bankers would instantly cave, and make their donations.
That was, definitively, the crime of extortion, they got away with it, and it made them very rich men and political forces to be reckoned with.
Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition with it's identifying rainbow symbol was originally a coalition of black, brown, Asian and American Indian races as a political alliance. A gathering of minorities to make a larger force in American politics, all gathered into the Marxocrat Party, which began to advertise itself as the "Party Of The Disenfranchised".
Jesse Jackson was the first to welcome homosexuals into the rainbow coalition and the rainbow colors became the battle flag of the Gay Rights movement. The homosexuals almost took the whole Party over.
Note well the confused use of the word "rights". Whenever Marxocrats refer to the "rights" of any of the "disenfranchised" they do not refer to any legal rights laid out in federal or state constructions. They may refer back to various foreign sources, such as the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, but the US is not subject to any foreign source of laws or rights. Especially when they define any rights to do anything that is wrong.
There is no human right to do that which is wrong.
And how we determine what is wrong is by our own original and enduring American national Judeo-Christian Ethos, which is the solid foundation of our federal and state constitutions, the legislation of our laws and the establishment of our legal rights as citizens.
The clearly anti-American Marxocrat Party has turned the American sense of right and wrong upside down, and Jesse Jackson was an important contributor to that disaster. Despite what the Rainbow Coalition or the Marxocrat Party might say about it, there is no real right to abort anyone, no right to be homosexual, no right to anyone else's property or wealth, no right to reparations, no right to sex change, no right to welfare, no right to just cross our borders, no right to American citizenship, no universal right to vote in our elections, and no special right for any one that is not the same right for every one.
No groups have any more rights than any other groups.
Today, American believers in foreign and other bogus rights use our First Amendment rights to violate other American's First Amendment rights. For example, Don Lemon and his anti-ICE "peaceful demonstrators" used First Amendment right to freedom of speech as an excuse to violate a Minnesota Church's First Amendment right to freedom of worship. Islamists use our freedom of speech to call for death to America in our own American streets. Marxists use our freedom of speech to call for the redistribution of our constitutionally protected personal property. Marxocrat Party organized and paid demonstrators use our freedom of assembly and petition to obstruct law enforcement. Marxocrat Party demonstrators and the whole Marxocrat Party call for the defunding and elimination of police, and especially of federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement police.
As if the First Amendment was a national suicide pact.
Just look at the Marxocrat commandeering of speech, which Marxocrat Party owned and operated courts let them get away with, as highlighted in the Rights page:

The more that which is wrong is allowed and tolerated, the more our whole culture will be transformed for the worse.
