Yesterday was the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost, and the Gospel reading was about the Corrupt Steward:
At that time, Jesus spoke to His disciples this parable: There was a certain rich man who had a steward, who was reported to him as squandering his possessions. And he called him and said to him, ‘What is this that I hear of you? Make an accounting of your stewardship, for you can be steward no longer.’ And the steward said within himself, ‘What shall I do, seeing that my master is taking away the stewardship from me? To dig I am not able; to beg I am ashamed. I know what I shall do, that when I am removed from my stewardship they may receive me into their houses.’ And he summoned each of his master’s debtors and said to the first, ‘How much do you owe my master?’ And he said, ‘A hundred jars of oil.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bond and sit down at once and write fifty.’ Then he said to another, ‘How much do you owe?’ He said, ‘A hundred kors of wheat.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bond and write eighty.’ And the master commended the unjust steward, in that he had acted prudently; for the children of this world, in relation to their own generation, are more prudent than the children of the light. And I say to you, make friends for yourselves with the mammon of wickedness, so that when you fail they may receive you into the everlasting dwellings.

The Luke 16 story of the Squandering Steward is one of the most unsettling and dissatisfying Scriptures to talk about because, in today's culture, the full meaning of the Keys is almost lost to antiquity. Today, people look at the corrupt steward of that day as an accountant, or a bookkeeper. But he was much, much more than that.

In those days, a Chief Steward of a rich man's house was given the keys to the house. No one in their right mind gives the keys to their own house to just anyone. A Steward was a person who stood in absolute trust, as an actual member of the family of the household. He was given so much authority over the house, everything in it, and the owner's property and treasure as to practically if not actually be the owner of it all.
Stewardship was an Office; the sign and symbol of the office was keys, and the Steward was identified as a highly trusted Steward by the keys he wore on his shoulder, whether actual keys or symbolic keys embroidered into a sash to be worn over the shoulder.
When an owner of a house was ready to retire or to hand responsibilities of hiring and firing of servants, making payrolls, paying bills, business transactions, maintaining the house, business, grounds, etc. over to someone, he turned it all over to a chief steward. Usually but not necessarily an heir or a family member.
Someone thoroughly trusted and beyond reproach.
The reason most of us have difficulty with Luke 1-9 is that the corrupt Steward is rewarded for buying favor with the owner's debtors with the owner's treasure; in today's thinking, that is downright thievery. But that's today's thinking. In ancient thinking, he was still the Steward until he completed his last duty as Steward, giving his final accounting; he was still seen by all, including the owner of the treasure, as the one given full trust and full authority over it all, as if he were the actual owner of it.
And that is the kind of trust Jesus had in Peter when He gave to Peter the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. That whatsoever he would bind on earth would be bound in Heaven, and whatsoever he would loose in Heaven would be loosed on earth.
It was as if Peter "owned" the trust and the very authority of God.

It was a branch of Cultural Marxism aimed at the Church. By the time she was converted, she knew that at least four of the evil men she had gotten into seminaries had advanced to the rank of Cardinal already, while keeping their godless Communism and sodomic perversions secret.
From among these evil infiltrators arose the Saint Galen Mafia.
From the Saint Galen Mafia and the Lavender Mafia arose Popes Francis and Leo XIV.
There can be little doubt today that Cardinal Bernardin was a Satanist before he ever became a Priest, and remained a Satanist afterward. No one should be surprised about Cardinals such as McCarrick, Wuerl, Tobin, Dolan, Cupich, Mahony, etc., or Popes Francis and Leo XIV.
The whole Catholic world and especially all Catholic Bishops should have paid a lot more attention to the warnings of Dr. Alice von Hildebrand about how Vatican II ignored Communism. Vatican II marked the beginning of the end of actual Papal adherence to established dogmatic doctrine, capital T Tradition, and doctrine in general.
The lion's share of Bishops today just sit on their hands as parades of heresy and apostacy march past right in front of their faces, like see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. They just smile an ecclesial smile and pretend it isn't happening.
Kind of like the Republicrats in Congress.

How is such a political ideology, that intends to overthrow every human institution on earth, in any way compatible with and not destructive of every American Church and the Constitutional Republic of the USA?

Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." [8:12]
If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember. [8:57]
And those of the People of the Book who aided them - Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts. (So that) some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners. [33:26]
It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)! How is a "religion" that calls for terrorism against Christians, Jews and all other unbelievers in Islam in any way compatible with and not destructive of every American Church, Constitutional America, Democratic Israel, and the whole non-Islamic world?
One Taqiyya lie is that Islam makes war only on those who are at war with Islam; but Islam is at war with the whole non-Islamic world. An "enemy" of Islam, or one who is at war with Islam, is defined, in Islam, as one who is not in Islam, or who does not believe and follow the Islamic "religion". They think we are at war with them because we are not one with them, and we prefer our own religion. And that makes us fair game for terror attacks and ultimate conquest.
You can be a Socialist, and/or a Moslem, and or a Sodomite or other pervert, or you can be a Christian, or a Jew, or a non Moslem, or an American, or an Israeli, or any other nation or culture, but not all together. Joining with Socialism, Islam or Hedonism is impossible for Americans, Christians and Jews.
So how did it come to be that we have Communists and Moslems in high office in America, and Communists, Sodomites and even Satanists in the highest ranks of the Catholic Church?
The old saying applies:
- Strong men make easy times.
- Easy times make weak men.
- Weak men make hard times.
- Hard times make strong men.
- Repeat.
When we were young, we took for granted the obvious safety of worshipping, walking, recreating, driving, shopping, touring, working, without fear of being assaulted, shot, mugged, carjacked, raped, murdered or even killed on our own streets, in our own Churches and schools, or even in our own homes by drive-by shooters.
Those days are gone now. Children are not safe riding their bikes, going to the park, playing out of sight of parents any more.
Neither are adults.
We're not even safe on the roads with all the illegally licensed illegal alien commercial truck drivers loose among us.
Satan has captured Chief Stewardships of nations and Churches.
It all began where it all must end: in the Church.
If we don't get Church right, we won't get anything else right.
It almost make you want to punch a smiling do-nothing Bishop in the mouth.
