Insidious Cultural Marxism's long march through all the institutions of man is succeeding in America where old time Revolutionary Marxism has miserably failed. Communism succeeds in America by growing Communist ideology, which is communal-thinking, which is herd mentality. It divides us into herders, and the herded, always on an emergency basis, and takes our eyes off of our own Constitution and our own Constitutional rights as Individual Americans.
It makes us think communally. It makes us forget who and what we are.
Many are the American Communists today who are not members of any Communist Party and do not even know they are Communist. They have been made into Communist Ideologues, and many if not most of them do not even know what they are. They are herd thinkers. They are in the mainstream consensus, helping Communism to convince those who are not in the herd to get their minds right and get in the herd. To get in line, and stop this idividual thinking, and join the consensus, for the good of the Commune.
Some do this consciously, others do it unconsciously.
It has been going in America since the Frankfurt School moved to America's Columbia University in 1934 and rapidly took it over. Through that beginning, it took over all formal education in America, private, public, parochial, college and university, by "Communizing" and credentialing all professional teachers.
Through Communized journalism schools, it Communized Journalists. Through Communized law schools, it Communized lawyers. Through Communized liberal arts schools, it Communized artists and entertainers. Through Communized science schools, it Communized scientists and engineers. Through Communized theological schools and seminaries, it Communized priests, ministers and rabbis.
Demonized McCarthyism
Actually, Cultural Marxism was resisted, though unsuccessfully, by Senator Joe McCarthy, through now demonized "Blacklisting". In his war against Cultural Marxism in America, Cultural Marxism won, and his McCarthy Hearings were turned into a demonizing club, with which to falsely demonize McCarthy himself, McCarhyism, anti-Communism, anti-Communists and Blacklisting, from that day forward. Today, in America, ascendant anti-American Communism now blacklists America and anti-Communism.
Go figure.
The Frankfurt School's educational Communization program operated in a symbiotic relationship with the Teaching Revolution started by John Dewey, who was, at the very least, an ideological Communist.
In the same time frame, Stalin's Popular Front movement, run by Soviet spies like Willi Munzenberg and Otto Katz began the long, slow process of deeply infiltrating and potentially taking over the American newspaper industry, the department of defense, political offices, elections, and the elected and sitting American government itself.
Marxism today owns and operates the Marxocrat Party, and the Republicrat Party doesn't particularly see any problem with that, because, in their eyes, Marxism isn't so bad.
But, Marxism is anti-American.
And now, as we showed in the Republicrat Quibbling Over Little Things page, the Marxocrat Party now operates the American Congress, the American Presidency, the American Supreme Court and the whole American federal bureaucracy. With weak to no resistance from the Republicrat Party. Refute what we say about that in the Quibbling page if you can.
Communal consensus thinking began to become the dominant way of thinking in America, I believe, in Truman's limited prosecution of the Korean War. That was the beginning of America's fatally flawed "Limited War" strategizing, over an unhealthy fear of total war in the new nuclear age. The problem is a limited war cannot be won; it can only be lost.
Generals like Grant, Sherman, Patton and McCarthur were all historic examples of winning generals, because they were total warriors.
It is said that losing generals obsess over war strategy, while winning generals strategize on logistics, both their own and their enemy's. That's why Grant and Sherman won the Civil War, and that's why McCarthur could have and should have won the Korean war.
Consensus Thinking of the New Communal Herd
That dangerous and eventually fatal limited war consensus thinking was and is now taught in our schools, by Culturally Marxist educators. It was the thinking that gave birth to the popular anti-war movement, which was far was less simply pacifist than it was Marxist and anti-American.
Today it is almost universally held that the whole Vietnam War was a mistake, we never should have even gotten involved, it was a civil-war in which first, the Viet Minh and then the Viet Cong, were the ones with popular support and the sitting elected government was the corrupt and tyrannical government that deserved to be overthrown.
Why do so many "conservatives" today believe that?
- That's what they were taught in school.
- That's what was reported in the "News".
The facts are that it was another Communist takeover by outside forces and it was no different than Korea in that regard. The only difference was that the Vietnam model tried to look like an internal revolution to the outside world. It was aided in this disinformation campaign by an already mostly Marxist world news media.
But the Vietnam incursion never had any popular support, it was not a civil war and it was not a popular 'revolution'. We were there because of a UN declaration, just like in the Korean War. Australian and South Korean men were there with us, fighting, bleeding and dying, to stop the military spread of Communism over the world. Ho Chi Minh wasn't even Vietnamese; he was a Soviet agent and a Russian citizen, educated in Moscow, who carried a Russian passport on his person every day of his life.
Even though our Vietnam war strategy was unnaturally limited, we were still winning it. The war was lost not over there, but over here, in the streets of America. Communist journalists, with Walter Cronkite in the lead, enraged the college students and got them out into the streets, and taking over college campuses, burning ROTC facilities, and providing "popular" cover for the serious Marxists who were bombing and terrorizing all across America.
Cronkite and the other Communist journalists broke the Presidency of Lyndon Banes Johnson, one of their own, and they induced the sitting Marxocrat Party dominated Congress to act to cut off the funds, fuel and ammo to American forces in the combat zone, forcing them to cut and run, and lose the war. And come home to be spat upon.

The UN wasn't totally ideologically Communist and anti-American yet, but it was getting there, and so was the rest of the world, or there would have been more nations sending troops to Vietnam to stop Communist aggression, as they did in Korea. It's a progressive thing. Think of Cultural Marxism as strategic Progressivism, operating globally.
Where else do we see this Consensus Thinking of the New Communal Herd? Everywhere. Just look at the non-scientific, unproven and unprovable "facts" solidly ensconced in the minds of the communal herd today.

The problem with all this communal thinking is that the commune itself, as an actual social organization, does not work. Look at the first American failed experiment with Socialism (Communalism) described in the Colonial Communism page. It just doesn't work.
Israel's 'Kibbutz' strategies are similar examples. The Kibbutz is a commune in which everything is held in common, rather than private property and individual incentive. No Kibbutz in all of Israeli history ever achieved self-sufficiency; all, from the beginning to this very day, absolutely depend upon funding from the national government to remain economically alive. Not one Kibbutz ever became self-sustaining, and yet, due to the strength of communal herd-thinking, the Kibbutzim still insist that the Kibbutz system 'works', although they cannot explain how or point to any successful examples.
Israel survives and thrives today based on guts alone and the grace of God. Think how much more prosperous and powerful Israel might be if she ever returned to her Commandment-based morality in law, and through highly moral rule-of-law adopted a more pure individual and family freeing Capitalism as Created human nature intends.
Something similar happened in Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin's quasi-Utopian "Catholic Worker" collective farms started all over America. Day herself recognized the failure but never abandoned Communism.
It was no different with the hundreds of voluntary CWM Catholic Worker collective farms that were started all over America. Even Dorothy Day herself could not point to a single one of them that was ever successful. Their first Distributist farm called Maryfarm in Pennsylvania was a particular disappointment. Like all the others, it could not provide enough to feed itself, let alone feed the urban poor, which was one of its planned purposes. Again, one of the problems involved the kind of person attracted to life without authority. Day remarked about Maryfarm that “the more people we have around here the less work gets done.”
The social order of all of the Catholic Worker farms eventually descended into depravity. Thievery, drunkenness, predation, bullying, assault, sexual licentiousness, all the things you would logically expect in a community devoid of authority, came to be. Reading about all these voluntary collective communities of yesterday is quite a bit like reading about the rather silly Occupy Wall Street movement that’s going on today, on a similarly small scale.
In every commune there are the laggards who spend their day not working, but idly arguing religion and politics, and yet are never late to the supper table and who always demand their 'fair share' of everything produced.
All of this nonsensical communal herd thinking was born of corrupted state run education, which came to be through a political agenda item, which was promoted by an unconstitutional to begin with political party. However do you suppose such historic luminaries as George Washington and Benjamin Franklin ever came to be literate and educated men in the absence of any government funded and government run schools?
If you said home schooling, go to the head of the class.
It's gone so far now that we're not going to get out of this mess unless strong manly leadership gets us out of it.
Go through the Breaking All Party Agendas pages one by one and you'll see what we're talking about.
If a law is unconstitutional on its face, it can be declared to be unconstitutional, null and no law, by a leader manly enough to do it.
If a bureaucracy is an unconstitutional governing entity, it can be declared to be unconstitutional and shut down, and everyone in it fired, and all of its regulations nullified, by a leader manly enough to do it.
I know, manliness is held to be toxic today, but that's the problem; that's the kind of communal herd thinking that must be destroyed.
Every officer of the federal government is solemnly sworn in his or her oath of office to uphold the Constitution in the performance of their office. If any of them would oppose any of the suggested breakings they would be faced with the clear wording of the Constitution and their own oaths of office, the condition by which they actually hold office.
If they actually wanted to reestablish some unconstitutional law, like federal abortion law, or if they wanted to reestablish some unconstitutional regulting bureaucracy, like the EPA, they could Constitutionally do that. All they would have to do is draw up a Constitutional Amendment to do it, send it out the the states to be ratified, and get a super-majority of 38 states to ratify it.
Then, and only then, would it be Constitutional and legal.
Does anyone out there actually believe that the environment would go out of existence if the EPA were to be shut down?
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.
