Why Colin Powell was a Never-Trumper

The whole big and unique idea behind America is Constitutional Rule. We are the first and only modern nation on earth with no human ruler(s); a nation ruled by laws and not by mere men.
Being a nation of laws means something different here. Not just a nation that respects or honors law; a nation ruled solely by her Constitution, which is the Supreme Law Of The Land. The ruler of the land, and the ruler of the government.
I was listening to the announcements of the passing of the great general Colin Powell, may he rest in peace. Person after person who knew him or worked with him remembered him fondly, and all, without exception, attributed his cause of death to "Covid-19 complications", without a single mention of his multiple myeloma or Parkinson's disease.
Of course, of coure.
The rules of the day insist that any time Covid-19 is diagnosed or even suspected, it must be counted as the sole cause of death. But that's another topic altogether.
Many years ago I read his autobiography, and I remember being vaguely disappointed by his own vagueness about where he stood in faith and in politics. There was no firm and solid ground there by which to determine what drove him or guided him. He was vague on the most important things. But, that was just a book. He really was a great man.
I could never reconcile the apparent decency and honesty of Colin Powell with his support of either Clinton or Obama. It didn't make sense. The Clintons were corrupt, Marxist-leaning money-grasping plutocrat wannabes, and Obama was an anti-American Marxist, an anti-Christian Islamist and an anti-white racist. The Clintons and the Obamas alike were Sorosians and Alinskyians; it just doesn't get any more anti-Christian and anti-American than that.
Why, and how, could a man like Colin Powell align himself with them?
And then, in one of the eulogizing, memorializing conversations on talk radio, the host asked, how could, and how did, Colin Powell ever come to be such a never-Trumper as to support Madam Hillary over Trump? And the answer made it clear: Trump was attacking the institutions of our government.
And there it was.
What Colin Powell was defending was Institutional Government; what we have damned in these webpages as the Permanent Government. Not the Constitution that creates, instructs, directs and limits the government, but the government itself. Which is supposed to be temporary, but has been institutionalized, and is now permanent.
Permanent government aficionados alternately deny and celebrate the existence of an American permanent government.
In one argument before one audience they will deny the existence of any Deep-State Shadow-Government as a wild-eyed right-wing conspiracy theory.
But then in another argument before another audience, they will assure listeners that there is no need to worry about any wayward President taking America off the tracks because there is a permanent institution of experts installed in government to keep that from happening. It's like an insurance policy. Don't worry your little head about it.
For instance, we have our institutional Intelligence Establishment, which has been made permanent and a self-governing power unto itself.
Defending, while denying the existence of, this Permanent Government is exactly and precisely what drives all the Republicrat and other Never Trumpers who pretend to be, but are not, Constitutionalists.
They may have sworn an oath of office to uphold the Constitution; they may have sworn a military oath of office to defend it against all enemies, foreign and domestic. They may publicly claim to actually be, and they may even think themselves to be Constitutionalists.
But they oppose the Constitution. Whether they know it or not, they oppose the Constitution, and that makes them anti-Americans.
Demonically so.

Powell served admirably, but above his pay grade. His ultimate capitulation was his race vote for an Alinskyite without any moral compass except self advancement based on opportunistic race card playing. It was sad to watch Powell fall into the Narrative and become a water boy for Barry who had and has given so little to the long term Constitutional foundations of the republic. Powell should be the ultimate warning as to how cooptation into the public bad can occur.

A better question might be how do Colin Powell's doctors, or any doctors, or the news media, or the information moguls, or the Marxocrat party, or Dr. Fauci, say that he didn't?
And the answer is, they can say that the same way they can say that
- the percentage of crossover infections of vaccinated people is extremely low
- the people who should vax up the most are those at most risk, specifically, the aged and those already ill, with comorbitidies and with compromised immunity
- vaccinated people who get the virus do not spread the virus
- only the un-vaccinated can spread the virus
All lies.
Colin Powell was double vaccinated.
In Israel 60% of all hospitalized with Covid-19 are vaccinated.
In UK 60% of all hospitalized with Covid-19 are vaccinated.
Most of the deaths attributed to Covid-19 in American and throughout the world actually died from something else. The overwhelming majority of these deaths had very serious and far more dangerous "comorbities" associated with them.
Our entire government, from the President on down, and the entire government-controlled news media and information industry are lying about this, big, bold and in your face. They now owe more allegiance to Communist China than they do to Constitutional America.
The whole need to mask-up, mitigate, vaccinate, etc., is a political lie.
The best community defense against Covid-19 is to allow individuals to catch a cold and get over it. And of course, to avoid kissing the aged when coughing or sneezing. The more this happens over any lifetime the more immune the individual will be to the effects of all cold viruses including new ones.
The best cold remedy for the infected? Chicken soup.
Most likely and most effective professional medical advice for 99% of any population ...
