The Supremes have spoken on the matter, and no, President Trump cannot fire anyone on the FED because the FED is officially independent of the US government and the US citizenry. Like the Supreme Court itself, the FED is a totally independent organization that may do what it will. So the FED and the FED alone controls American interest rates, American treasure and the printing and coining of American currency, and no one else on earth has anything to say about it.
We have to remember where the FED came from. It was born of the evil anti-American Woodrow Wilson administration that planted three time-bombs in the American government:
- The Graduated Income Tax;
- The Politicization and Political Corruption of the Senate;
- The Centralizing of Credit and Money in the Federal Reserve.
The first FED was a cabal of big bankers, some of whom were already cronies of Wilson's Party and ideology, and others who soon became his cronies, for fun and profit. The initial "Independent FED" idea was that the FED should be independent of Political Parties, not the whole federal government. That was a sham, of course. Since the Parties were in open competition to actually run the government, and the Democrat/Marxocrat Party was already concentrating the electing and planting of its own Party operatives deep in government itself, the final objective, which was achieved, was to make the FED independent of the Government.
Today, over a hundred years later, we have Supreme Court Justices who actually believe that the FED is and should be independent of orders from President Trump, not because he represents the opposing Party, but because he is merely the duly elected President of the USA, of whom the FED is independent.

Or at least that's what they would have all the rest of us believe that they believe.
But the FED is really a near mirror image of the Court itself, which, after unconstitutionally establishing the Judicial Review legal precedent, holds itself and is universally held by others to be absolutely independent of the two supposedly coequal representative branches and, of course independent of the voters too. But the Court, like the FED, is largely Poilitical Party-driven.
- Only Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito are strict Constitutionalists, which is to say they adjudicate strictly and solely on the actual written words of the law in question and the intent of that law's authors.
- Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson are absolute Marxocrat Party hacks, who will adjudicate in favor of whatever Marxocrat Party agenda item is submitted for their consideration, every single time.
- Justices John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett all unpredictably bounce back and forth between actual strict Constitutionalism and the favoring of one Party's position or the other, depending on the political agenda item.
It's hard to say exactly what Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett are, and we have to wonder if they know what they are. They appear to be among those once described by Benjamin Franklin as Mugwumps, or those who hang with their mugs on one side of the fence and their wumps on the other. They just blow with the wind.
The only way out of this mess that the current Marxocrat controlled FED has put us in is for Trump to somehow Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and kill the FED entirely.
(Assuming, of course, that he could ever get Senate Leader Thune off of his dead ass and doing something for America rather than working for the Marxocrats.)
He could then demand an immediate accounting from all federal reserve banks, bring all that treasure back under the Department of Treasury where it belongs, and return the printing and coining of US currency back under Treasury. He could then energize US interest rates and the value of US currency by distributing it all out to thousands of local banks and credit unions, get the government out of interest rate controls and let the natural laws of economics involving actual supply and demand of money would competitively set interest rates automatically.
(And if he got the government out of minimum-wage wage controls wages would then float competitively with the laws of supply and demand for workers.)
(And if he got the government out of all price controls prices of goods and services would then float competitively with the laws of supply and demand for goods and services)
The only thing related to currency that the federal government should absolutely control is the world supply of US currency. We should follow the rules of Friedman's Monetarism, which say that money supply growth should match the American citizen birth rate, up to and stopping at some very low rate of around 2.5% per year, even if the birth rate goes higher.
World history has never seen a hyperinflation event in which a government was not printing too much of its own currency.
But then, as we said in rethinking FED repeal, the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was unconstitutionally legislated and signed into law in the first place, because it is not to be found among the limited and enumerated powers of the Congress in Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution.
That makes it an illegally legislated, illegally signed and illegally enforced "law".
President Trump can, if he will, declare it to be unconstitutional, null and no law. He has just as much right to exercise Presidential Review as the Court has to exercise Judicial Review and the Congress has to exercise Congressional Review.
They are all, after all, coequal branches.
And all three must know the Constitution equally in order to do their specific Constitutional duty.
The Constitution is not just a bunch of words written on a piece of paper. It is law; indeed it is the supreme law of the land. Everyone in elected or appointed high office in America is solemnly sworn in an oath of office to uphold it, enforce it and defend it.
The Constitution is a legal document, written in English that says very specific legal things. President Trump, more than anyone else at this historic moment, is the most important among all constitutional office holders because he holds the office responsible for enforcing the law.
The Constitution is either the supreme law of the land or it is not.
Go get 'em Mr. President!!
