It is interesting to note that Entropy, with origins in thermodynamics, has grown and spread out to be confirmed in so many other areas of material science as to be a confirmed theory, or even a scientific law. Entropy is seldom questioned today in science. And, Genetic Entropy rather forcefully describes the devolution, as opposed to evolution, of all living species.
Every 'child' born of every species is a very slight mutation of its two parents. Every mutation, however slight a mutation it may be, has less - not the same and not more - less genetic material than its parent set. Less genetic material means less possibility of future mutation, not more.
Yet, mutation, and indeed ever increasingly complex mutation, is an absolute requirement for Darwinian evolution of species to work.
Of course, it doesn't work. And it never did.
Genetic entropy is the reason that man can eventually purposely breed a chihuahua out of a wolf, but, he cannot reverse that process. Man cannot breed a wolf out of a chihuahua because too much genetic material has been lost in the chihuahua for that to ever be a possibility. He would have to start out with a breed of the canine species a lot more genetically complex than a chihuahua. Something a lot more akin to a wolf; but even then, it probably could not be done.
How do you 'mutate' backwards, if genetic material is lost with every new birth to begin with?
What genetic entropy points to is the probabilities if not facts that
It's why we never see any new species come to be; it's why all we see are extinctions of species.
And this makes us think again of time.
A long time ago I started coming around to creationism. Long before that, I was disgusted with all of the silly pseudo-scientific consensus among the atheistic material scientists, and especially with the likes of Richard Dawkins, the 'scientifically' recognized, lauded and almost worshiped high priest of modern atheism. Many a PhD candidate will genuflect at the mere mention of his name.
Being more interested in writing about theology than science, Dawkins wrote The Blind Watchmaker; Climbing Mount Improbable; Unweaving the Rainbow; The Selfish Gene; and The God Delusion. Unable to scientifically prove the basis for his purely faith-based atheistic religion, he delves into Christian theology to undermine and attack it as an 'expert' in it.
Nuts like Dawkins as much drove me toward creationism as Catholic creationists have drawn me toward it. They put the 'ism' in Scientism. They are just dumber than a boxcar full of Bidens, and, for me, they have put themselves outside the realm of all reasonable credibility.
But what about Carl Sagan's famous 'billions and billions and billions' of stars, and galaxies, and universes, and - years? And of light-years?
How do Sagan's billions and billions of years stand up against the Hexameron (i.e., the Biblical six days of creation)?
Where is the scientific evidence supporting the passage of billions, let alone millions of years? Radio-Carbon Dating certainly can't do that. General agreement among recognized scientists on any hypothesis is not science. It might be a rudimentary form of democracy, but it is certainly not science.
If the universe is expanding from some so far unknown originating point, so what? Could the universe not have been created out of nothing, just as it is, including how it is or appears to be expanding?
Has man's ability to measure time backward through the eons always been somehow fatally flawed?
Did some other processes than those so far conjectured lay down all those fossil-embedded geological layers of sedimentary rock strata?
(Remember, conjecture is the scientifically preferred term for a guess.)
Personally, I find the Word of God to be infinitely more reliable than the generally accepted conjectures of the worldly sciences.
You should too.
If you follow the One Most Important Principle you won't go wrong.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.

Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus Christ; Matt 7:13-15
"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator’s supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights.”--Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others."--St. Francis of Assisi
