In response to a recent commenter in the dialogue after the Definition Of Marxism page, I responded in part with a quote from a book by the famous Austrian economist, Ludwig Von Mises. Upon further reflection on the words of Mises, I decided that they deserved a separate page on this website, particularly in this time when so many people seem to be just becoming aware of the true nature of Marxism, in all it’s variations. It attempts to shoe-horn people into boxes beneath a hierarchical structure so that the details of the living of their lives may be “correctly” directed from above, in defiance of human nature.
Such pure bureaucracy works for the Church, but not for the social order outside the Church, and the reasons are fairly obvious. Without further elaboration about it by me, here is what Von Mises said about it.
To the modern Marxist, today’s Roman Catholic Church would present the perfect model for a socialist / Communist bureaucracy, except for all that religious nonsense, of course. It solved the otherwise unsolvable problem: the normalized, expected and peaceful transition of administrative power from one administration to the next. It works for ecclesial society. However, in secular society, Von Mises pointed out that “If the decision between various candidates is not left to majority vote, no principle of selection remains other than civil war. The alternative to the democratic principle of selection through popular election is the seizure of power by ruthless adventurers.” … “The truth is that such a Fuhrer system must necessarily result in permanent civil war as soon as there are several candidates for supreme office.” I don’t know about you, but I don’t like war. Been there; done that; don’t care to do it again unless absolutely necessary.
The problems with Democracy are the obvious ones associated with the “pure Democracy” end of the democratic spectrum. Obviously, we cannot take a vote on every single decision that must be made, so it is far too ponderous and time consuming as a from of government. An example of a pure Democracy might be a lynch mob. Beyond inefficiency, the more serious problem with it is that the majority is not always right, and so pure majoritarian voting is dangerous to justice. There must be something – some unshakable standard agreed to by all – that remains settled, and that we do not have to vote on again and again.
Our unique American Constitutional Republic has come closer to the perfect secular solution than any other government system in world history. It allows the populace the liberty to compete and excel, it allows the free market to expand and operate via the natural laws of supply and demand, it constrains the liberty of the citizenry only in so much as they might do injury to other citizens or the free market, it elects Representative government administrators to oversee government operations, and the elections are done by a fundamentally moral people.
I think we can all see that the current Marxocratic Regime, with Comrade Obama, peace be upon him, presiding, is operating to directly dismantle or negate every element of our Republic enumerated in the paragraph above. Marxism, in any variety at all, simply does not work in the civil order. It is antagonistic to and destructive of human nature. It even seeks to change human nature, which means that those changed would no longer be human. It prepares people for herding; it seeks to change homo sapiens into herd animals, totally dependent upon their handlers.
Every variant of Marxism by every possible description involves the lie of redistribution – redistribution is a lie because the government will simply take it and use it for its own purposes and not redistribute it – to create a centrally planned and government controlled market, and a completely dependent, subservient citizenry. Marxism always, always, involves increased impoverishment of the whole citizenry.
Take a look at the recent USCCB Flip-Flop article submission for yet another example of where some of our Bishops might be taking us.

Mises referred to Socialism not Communism. You seem to not know the difference. Why do you mix references so? It looks like you need to go back to school. For someone who seeks to be recognized expert, you don’t know what you speak of. There is big difference between Socialism and Communism. Why do you not know that?

You’re quite right, of course; there is a difference between Socialism and Communism. As pointed out in the The Great Communist Lie page, both of them are fraudulent movements, along with every other social term described by Karl Marx, one of history’s greatest and most successful frauds. I’m sure we both know that Communism, as Marx described it, has never even existed, is quite impossible and will never exist. However …
Let’s look at the Marxist terms as used by the rulers of the lands supposedly able to be defined by very specific Marxist terms, as your teachers probably taught you.
Russia under Lenin was supposed to be Marxist-Leninist. In actuality, it was a typical Socialist dictatorship. But Lenin referred to himself as a Communist, to his movement as Communist, to his country as Communist, and his political Party was called the Communist Party.
China under Mao was supposed to be Maoist. In actuality, it was a typical Socialist dictatorship. But Mao referred to himself as a Communist, to his movement as Communist, to his country as Communist, and his political Party was called the Communist Party.
Cuba under Castro was supposed to be Fidelista. In actuality, it was a typical Socialist dictatorship. But Castro referred to himself as a Marxist-Leninist, and also as a Communist, to his movement as Communist, to his country as Communist, and his political Party was called the Communist Party. So I’m sure you can see the source of my confusion, and I hope you can forgive my confusion. The whole world uses the Marxist terms Socialist and Communist interchangeably whether any modern day professors like it or not.
Our own current glorious leader, Comrade Premier Barack Hussien Obama, peace be upon him, hopes to be the first American President to fulfill the dream of the famous anti anti-Communist Walter Cronkite by yielding up American sovereignty for the greater good of a future Communist world. And all the Democrats will say amen. The drive is toward a U.N. ruled world of social sameness; our Marxocratic Party continues to dream the impossible dream.

You discredit any authority your ideas might have by the ludicrous notion that Obama is a communist or socialist. Obama is, at present, the greatest friend in the world to capitalists and their interests, and in fact the aims espoused in his rhetoric (but, sadly, almost totally unreflected in his actions) are the single greatest hope that the current capitalist leaders of the world have of avoiding widespread violent revolution in the coming decade or two as the global economy inevitably collapses and the middle and lower classes are increasingly thrust down into poverty. I would refer you to any communist, socialist, or otherwise Marxist forum or community on the internet. See how they talk about Obama. I defy you to find a single one where Obama is anything but vilified and despised.

First, Comrade Obama, peace be upon him, has clearly identified himself as a Marxist by his own written and spoken words. See the Refuting Obama page and all the articles about him linked to in the right hand column of that page. He clearly despises Capitalism (i.e., the combination of a Free Market and Human Liberty) and is doing everything in his power to destroy it.
Second, there is no such thing as "the Capitalist leaders of the world." Capitalism is an economic organism, not a governmental one.
Third, other Marxists hate Comrade Obama, peace be upon him, solely because he does not openly accomplish his objectives through violence and bloody revolution, but through Alinskyite deep deception and treachery, operating from the inside to bring America down. He is a new-school political revolutionary. Dim-bulb, open, old-school Marxist bloody revolutionaries therefore do not recognize him as one of their own.
Fourth, regarding the coming "widespread violent revolution" when the "global economy inevitably collapses", the "inevitability" of this collapse followed by revolution is totally unnatural. It is being purposely caused by the work of Marxists, Moslems and aloof, super-bourgeois elitist New World Order and/or Crony-Capitalists like George Soros, Maurice Strong and Warren Buffet, who act disengaged, innocent and unconcerned.

Could someone elaborate on the "super-bourgeois elitist capitalists" - this is the first I have heard of this.
Date: Mon Feb 25 08:55:16 2013
From: Vic Biorseth
These "super-bourgeois" elitists are the behind-the-scenes, incredibly rich manipulators of world currencies, commodities, corporations, real estate, international political organizations like the UN and various global "conferences" on economics, environment, etc., and even of various revolutionary movements of Marxism and Islam. Most of the organizations are not even aware of the degree to which they are being manipulated for the benefit of these men.
By unscrupulous manipulation of vast quantities of various currencies and commodities, they turn their millions into billions, their billions into trillions, and their trillions into quadrillions. If not in actual counting, then in actual buying power, exchange value and personal holdings. They are devoid of scrupples; they are completely amoral.
They are just having fun.

Just found your writings today. I must say, you have a grasp of reality that even the most educated cannot seem to understand, or they are merely liars.
Curious though, you have made no mention, that I have found, that addresses "cultural marxism", the school of Frankfurt, and all the SJW (social justice warriors), such as affirmative action, feminism, the corrupt family court system. All mechanisms of the cultural Marxists attempt to destroy the family (a core tenant of Marxist ideology).
As well as, I fear you only begin to identify the tip of the iceberg of the oligarical super wealthy that are finding and promoting this Marxist agenda. I believe they know that the useful idiots that constantly lower the bar toward total degradation of society, in hopes of this utopia, will never move through communism and into marxism. They know it will ultimately stop with tyranny and the oligarchs will still be in power, never to be toppled by the working class.
I even believe the CIA is an organization designed to do its bidding of creating destabilizing governments, and the U.S. is also being attacked (the constitution, and liberty). My evidence of such is that the CIA is routinely funded by the oligarchs, not to mention the owners of the FED and they are the same people. In the early 70's the CIA funded the birth of the feminist movement. Look how much damage that flawed cultural Marxist ideology has done. Masculinity has been deemed "toxic". Fathers are summarily eliminated from their children's lives, and the infection of feminism in all the christian churches, even our Roman Catholic Church.
I'd love to read your thoughts on my points. You have a great ability to explain the truth.
Keep up the great work.

I believe all of your points have been addressed, in multiple places, with one exception: I would have to see your evidence that oligarchs are directly funding the CIA. I recognize the fact that big-time Crony-Capitalists (potential Marxists of the Fascistic or National Socialist variety) and Globalists are deeply in bed with the Marxocrat Party and the Republicrat Party. But I've seen nothing to indicate that the CIA is funded by anything other than tax revenues and increased national debt.
For your other points, try the Marxism Pages, the Divide and Conquer Pages, the Infiltration of Evil Pages, the Treachery and Treason Pages, and various other sections. I can't remember them all. You might even try the new Absolute Stupidassism Pages, still under construction.

Why is our whole culture going to pot? It's our morality, stupid. Every cultural thing - law, order, decency, indecency, salvation, damnation - hangs on a recognized cultural morality.
Can we find actual Evil inside the Catholic Church? Well, why not? The war between Satan's kingdom (the World) and the Kingdom of God, and Evil inside the Catholic Church.

On Straying, Right or Left, from the Catechism.
We have before us, on one side, excesses of "Social Justice" and "Liberation Theology", and on the other, the "Lefebvre" movement and related groups. In the center: the Catechism.
Do our Catholic bishops promote and teach Roman Catholicism, or something less?
Cafeteria Catholicism, i.e., Pick-And-Choose Catholicism, is rampant in America, thanks to many American Catholic bishops.

This theoretically Catholic Christology course teaches about a Christ Who didn't know who he was, didn't necessarily rise again after death, but Who "teaches us valuable lessons" nonetheless.
(Cafeteria Catholic 5)
Athenaeum courses consistently taught that the early Church condoned slavery.
This teaching is clearly false. Yet the Athenaeum of Ohio LPMP program, in multiple courses, officially taught that the Church "changed" its teaching on slavery.
