Every morning, I wake up way before the alarm, put on the coffee and start writing. But I almost never finish a good train of thought before I have to go to work, and when I pick it up again, it isn't the same train. Not exactly, anyway. If I can ever make enough income right here, that can change, and I may be able to complete a whole train of thought in one sitting, and get it down on paper. Or, actually, on one of these webpages in this website.
Until now I have resisted charging anything because I believe that all anyone should ever have to do to find truth is to seek it, and it shouldn't cost anything to get it. However, the realization is dawning that it wasn't "free" for me or anyone to ever find it. It wasn't easy, but maybe the truth never is easy, and maybe it's not supposed to be easy or cheap.
I'm getting older, and my tired old bones yearn for what all my old contemporaries enjoy, which is retired retirement, rather than working retirement. It wouldn't really be retired retirement, but it would be writing retirement, which for me, is not really work. It is joy. I've never had "writer's block"; I don't know what that is. Every day, when I'm out and about, I have more thoughts and inspirations that make me wish I was home at my keyboard.
I have wondered if it is a mental illness. It is a compulsive-obsessive urge that I don't resist, but indulge and enjoy whenever I can.
Anyway, I'm thinking about adding a premium member subscription option to this whole website. The pages that would be free and open to anyone anywhere would be the Home Page, the BLOG page and all pages that are authored by anyone other than me (Vic).
Our goal in this site is to always to:
I need to know what you think about it, so there is a survey form here for your input.
If there are enough readers out there who think it's worth paying a monthly fee for, I'll go for it. If not, I won't.
Take the survey and let me know if the content in these pages is worth keeping it going and increasing the volume.
And, comment below to let me know what you think of this whole idea.

how about $5/mo. or even 2 levels of support..
I enjoy this publication much of the time..
You have never mentioned (to my knowledge) if u are in alignment with sedevacantism.. such as CMRI.. or do u just think that we have had a bad run of bad popes for quite a while..
thankyou for your service to Christ..

No, I do not believe it is possible for "The Chair" of Peter to be empty. Jesus said that the very gates of hell would not prevail against it. We have had bad Popes through history, and we have had quite a few anti-Popes - multiples claiming to be Pope at the same time - as you can see in the Long List of Catholic Popes. The Church survived them all.
At the moment, it looks like we have an anti-Pope in Francis; we have never had a "Pope Emeritus" before. In my mind, Benedict XVI is still Pope, but who can tell what's going on in the Vatican, with all these homo and Commie Bishops seemingly in charge.
It will sort itself out. We still have our Creed, and our safeguarded Doctrines, until the light dawns anew in Rome. Go to your old Baltimre Catechism. Nothing in it has changed.

I think $5.00 a month is reasonable for many, but a lot would prefer half of that amount. The $10.00 suggestion is $120 a year and few magazines or commentators (except for finance folks) ask for anywhere near that much per year. Even at half that amount it is still $60 per year and that would cause a loss of some of your readers as we. i would suggest somewhere between $25 and $50 would keep more of your readers participating. That's the second price reduction suggestion within minutes of publication of this page. Taking it under advisement. And the last point is a good one. Looking back, many of my longer pages could have been two or three or even four different pages. Some of that may be due to walking away from an unfinished page and then coming back as much as a day later, with new trains of thought running around in my head, along with a pack of monkeys and only one banana.

I like what you are doing and understand your need and reason for considering this. I cannot do the $10 a month at this time. Perhaps at some future time I could but not presently. Keep up the good work and do whatever you must do.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
Broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator's supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights." --Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others." --St. Francis of Assisi
