What's wrong with agreeing with Darwinian Evolution, as a scientific theory? First, it isn't a true scientific theory; second, as a pure materialistic "scientific" dogma, it is the educational weapon that is the single most destructive weapon ever employed against the Catholic Church.
When "science" refutes the first book of the Bible it lays the groundwork for the progressive, systematic, refutation of the existence of God in the mind of man. It is destructive of Christianity, and therefore destructive of Western Civilization, and therefor destructive of America. It lays the foundation of anything-goes hedonism, establishing the belief that this life is all there is.
It is an evil seed planted in the misdirected mind of man that grows into the false vision of religion as nothing more than silly superstition.
Did you ever stop to question the authority of most popular thinking and all elitist "modern" thinking today that holds fundamentalism, in and of itself, to be backward, non-progressive, wrong and even ignorant?
The problem is that most people don't. They just accept it. Even though fundamentalism is most often correct and the modern view wrong.
Darwin never proved his hypothesis, because he couldn't prove it, and no one has proved it since Darwin. The theory has been commandeered by Scientism, or elitist scientific consensus. Meaning, popularity of a theory among scientists rather than empirical evidences and proofs.
In Objective Reality we described the fundamental scientific method thus:
This is fundamental science, where strict empiricism rules. The goal of fundamental science, or empirical science is to identify objective reality in material matters. The scientific method is seldom if ever employed today in evolutionary "science", having been almost totally displaced by the "scientific consensus" of Scientism.
The theory depends upon a genetic impossibility: that mutations become more complex than the parent(s) they mutated from. In fact, every mutant has less genetic material than its parents and never more. That means that they are more simple, not more complex. Less genetic material means less opportunity for future variation, not more.
In fact, every child is a slight mutation from its parents, and therefore has slightly less genetic material than its parents, and is thus a simpler being. This is not evolution, but devolution. It means that each and every species is cruising toward extinction from the time it came into being.
This agrees with the third law of thermodynamics which says that things become more simple over time and not more complex.
Tell a Darwinian "scientist" that genetics refutes Darwinism, and the likely response will be "there are many scientists who disagree with that statement".
So, it's Scientific Consensus again.
That's it. That's all they've got.
A Speciation Event is defined as a new species coming into being which can successfully reproduce itself, but can no longer successfully reproduce or interbreed with the parent species from which it "evolved".
In all of human history, no speciation event has ever been observed by any man, including Darwin himself. In the truly enormous fossil record, no speciation event is to be found.
Indeed, the fossil record disproves speciation in many instances. The "Cambrian Explosion" record shows
Tell a Darwinian "scientist" that no speciation event has ever been observed by man or shown in the fossil record, and the likely response will be "there are many scientists who disagree with that statement".
So, it's Scientific Consensus again.
And again, that's it. That's all they've got.
Soft tissue found in tyrannosaurus rex bones disproves the millions of years age theory of the fossils. There is no way soft tissue could survive as soft tissue for thousands, let alone millions of years.
Carbon dating itself is shaky at best, but is only good for thousands of years, not hundreds of thousands and certainly not millions of years. Everything modern scientists hold to be older than, say, 40,000 years is based on nothing more than scientific conjecture.
Conjecture is the word scientists prefer to use in place of the word guess, because conjecture sounds more scientific than guess.
But no matter how educated, no matter how scientific and no matter how much consensus it holds, a conjecture never, ever, rises above the level of being a guess.
And there is nothing scientific about guess work. Even popular guess work.
Soft tissue finds in such fossils calls the age of existence into question.
A careful read of Genesis shows that the Bible has a lot more going for it than Darwinian theory, and the Biblical age of the universe makes more sense than the scientific consensus of "billions and billions" of years.
Faithful Catholics know (or should know) that the final test of any scientific theory is whether it agrees with Scripture or not. But that is not a test you can expect an atheist or a non-Catholic to accept. Objective research, if it is truly objective, will lead the atheist or the non-Catholic into the true faith eventually, if the objective research is honest.
As a matter of fact real science always agrees with Catholicism.
The fundamental question is, where did matter - stuff - come from, and what is it doing here? Why does stuff exist instead of nothing?
We explored this question a little bit in Reason versus Materialism, but that was more or less to attack the atheistic and truly stupid Pure Materialist position.
In Absolute Literalism we talked about the Hugh Owen book, "I have spoken to you from heaven", a Catholic defense of creation in six days. It is riveting, and quite convincing, because it is so well reasoned. Believe it or not, it makes perfect scientific sense.
I don't know how you could scientifically prove these things without a frame of reference that would be out of this world and perhaps out of this universe.
And maybe that's the point. Absolute Truth is, after all, other worldly.
Remember, there are four "senses" of Scripture interpretation.
The two major "senses" of Scripture are Literal, and Spiritual. The Spiritual sense is itself divided into three senses. So we have,
1. The Literal Sense
And the Spiritual Senses:
Typical of the Parables, which taught a lesson rather than merely telling a story, which may have been an analogy.
3. Tropological (Moral)
The deeper understanding of how we are to act, behave and live our lives. Moral life is also healthy life.
Pointing the way to God; the Beatific Vision; Final Judgment; Reward and Punishment.
That all Scripture is inspired by God and is inerrant is dogma.
But Literal interpretation, or any interpretation, is not.
(Read Wisdom of the Ages for the details.)
Considering the "Four Senses" in which Scripture may be interpreted:
Note that God doesn't play tricks; God simply is. It is Satan and his evil falsehoods that trick themselves and their followers.
Humility accepts the existence of mystery and the unknowable at some point; Pride refuses to to accept the fact that anything is unknowable. Pride cannot bow before the ultimate mystery, because pride cannot even accept the existence of anything that is "unknowable".
When man takes God out of the picture he removes the central Truth of existence, he begins conjuring up his own "truth", as if he were god, and calling it material science.
When he cannot even explain the existence of matter on his own.
If you haven't read it, you need to read the Hugh Owen book. If you haven't seen it, you need to see The Principle.
Bottom line, Christian fundamentalism makes a lot more sense and is a lot more verifiable than any modern, elitist and even "scientific" mere consensus of unproven subjective opinion.
Based, at its root, on pure blind faith in godlessness.
Atheistic material science will twist itself into insane knots trying to prove the unprovable, and will always therefore fall back on democratic consensus, for not even the best, but always the most popular, pure conjecture. The unverified, untested and unproven "scientific guess" found to be the most popular among the godless elites.
Note this well: the American Constitution is a legal document, written in simple and direct English, easy to understand, and yet, almost no one reads it today. Most Americans defer to "Constitutional Lawyers" or other "experts" as if their reading skills were superior to the rest of us. All you have to do is read it to know it; all you have to do is read it carefully and study it to become an "expert" who is just as expert as anyone else. You can do it, and you should do it. It establishes your very citizenship. It was written for you. It belongs to you.
If you don't know what your rights are, you do not really have them.
It is, or it should be, shocking how little today's American populace knows about their own Constitution, their own national founding, and even elementary American civics.
And it is vitally important that America's self-governing citizenry know these things well, because Constitutional America depends for its very life and continued existence upon a citizenry overwhelmingly made up of
Man is a social being, and the primal social unit is the family.
America is the world's first (and only) nation not ruled by men, but ruled by a Constitution. We are the world's sole nation of laws, and not of men.
When America's Revolutionary war was won, and her Constitution ratified, and the title "President" was announced to the world as the chief executive, the royalty and nobility of Britain and Europe probably laughed. Everyone expected a new king in the world. But the word President denoted a mere appointed or chosen presider, a temporary position of one who presides at a meeting or council, or even a nation, but, temporarily.
The elites of the world thought the new Constitutional America would therefore be a temporary thing, a flash-in-the-pan, of eventual historical insignificance.
Yet, here we stand, 245 years old, stronger than any other nation on earth and older than any other Democracy or Democratic Republic.
And the American government, including the Presidency, is indeed temporary. But ancient royalty are not laughing any more. For the most part, royalty are today reduced to figureheads, quaint reminders of a bygone era.
"Temporarily" governed America appears to be able to outlast even them.
One house of Congress, the House of Representatives, is elected to office every two years. The other house of Congress, the Senate, was originally made up of two senators from each sovereign state, appointed to the Senate by their respective elected State governments, to represent the state governments, and serving at the discretion of their state governments. The President is elected to office every four years. Only the Supreme Court is in any way permanent, and even the Court is not "dynastic" or in anyone's possession. Justices are appointed by Presidents, confirmed by the Senate, and remain on the court for life.
But none of them "rule"; only the Constitution rules.
All get their carefully restricted operating instructions and procedures from the written Constitution. All are equally subject to it, as are all of the sovereign states and all of of the sovereign citizenry.
All of them hold temporary governing positions. Even the justices on the court, who will die one day, cannot pass their positions to their offspring or bequeath them to anyone, because they do not really posses their positions as if they were property. America has no ruling nobility. The part of the system of government that is most permanent in America is the self-governing, self-sustaining and voting American citizenry itself.
Thus the continued existence of Constitutional America depends entirely upon a well informed, highly moral, Constitution-minded citizenry.
Race has nothing to do with American citizenry. The Constitution was not written for any particular race; if you have been taught otherwise you have been lied to. In fact, the Constitution was designed to end slavery and make all men equal before the law. If it didn't accomplish it perfectly at ratification, it did it eventually through reasoned argument and even bloody civil war, and the final amendments making all of us full citizens.
Abolition was kept out of the Declaration by one vote; the "compromise" three fifths of a citizen counted for representation purposes showed further the intent of the ratifiers to recognize blacks as citizens and end slavery. The matter of abolition was finally settled by the Civil War, fought against the Democrat Party, which was the Party of Secession and Slavery.
Thus it may be argued that, by majority thinking of the authors and the ratifiers, the American Constitution was written more specifically for the black race than for any other.
Whatever race you may be, if you are an American citizen, the American Constitution was written for you, personally, and it doesn't give a tinkers dam what color you may be. It is your Constitution, and you should take it personally, and take ownership of it, and of the legal rights that it guarantees to you and yours.
American Fundamentalism, then, is a literal interpretation of the English of the American Constitution, which is Originalist, meaning attentive to the original intent of the ratifiers, and attentive to the etymolological English meaning of written words circa 1787.
Because of the Constitution, our most successful individuals have been innovators and entrepreneurs, our most successful businesses of all varieties have been family operations.
The best restaurants have been multi-generation family businesses. The most prosperous farms and ranches have been multi-generation family businesses, run by family members raised up in the business.
Even corporations have been predominantly family owned; free families and free individuals produce wealth; dependent families and dependent individuals consume it.
The most important aspect of fundamental America is a free citizenry.
And Anti-Americanism is everything that opposes American Fundamentalism. Whatever opposed the original Constitution is anti-American.
It was the racist Democrat President Woodrow Wilson who began the most serious transformation of the Democrat Party into the Communist leaning "Marxocrat" Party opposing all citizen independence that we see today. In one single Presidency, Wilson was able to pass two Amendments, 16 and 17, establishing the government ability to tax private property (income) and turning the Senate into a mere elected body like the House. And, he established the FED, giving American treasure and the ability to mint American money over to a cabal of "independent" banker friends.
Making the ratifiers of the Constitution role in their graves.
All of this detriment to fundamental America remains to be undone.
Wilson's corruptions of fundamental America aside, and recognizing that Marxism (meaning any form of Socialism, including Communism, Fascism, Nazism, pure Democracy, Democratic Socialism, Socialist Republic, Crony-Capitalism, etc.) is absolutely antithetical to the American Constitution and the American Capitalism that naturally flows from it,
In other words, Fundamental America is predominantly Christian, in the pre-corrupt Catholic hierarchy and pre-Pope Francis sense of that term.
And, fundamental America stands opposed to the misdirection of the seriously misdirected field of atheistic materialism.
"In God We Trust" is a fundamental American motto.
Why harp on the Darwinian evolution versus Creationism argument? Does it really matter how God did it, ask the Christians who don't care?
Let me repeat the first words of this treatment of the argument.
Note well that the "religion as a silly superstition" concept forms the core belief system of the godless, globalist elites, who only play-act at religiosity for purely political reasons, while they work to dismantle sovereign nations, destroy religions and eliminate independent thought.
This is elitist atheistic intolerant authoritarianism on the march.
Self-government and Constitutional America depend for their lives upon a self-governing citizenry imbued with Christian morality, living the virtuous life, avoiding, anathematizing and shunning all that is evil.
More importantly, Christianity provides the only path to heaven.
Think about it, while you are still allowed to think about it.
And then do something about it, while you are still allowed to do something about it.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.

One cannot beome more fundamentally truthful than an astrophysicist.
As for thelogical truth that is firmly backed by scientific truth, you might want to check out Hugh Ross' website and Youtube channel "Reasons to Believe".
Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.
In America, religion is not mere window dressing and citizenship is not a spectator sport.
Do not allow our common destiny as a whole people to just happen without your input.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in
thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life:
and few there are that find it! Beware of false prophets, who come to you in
the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus Christ; Matt 7:13-15
"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator’s supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights.”--Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others."--St. Francis of Assisi

The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.—Ayn Rand
