Catholicism, at the core, is about Truth.  The center and source of all Truth is God.  The exact opposite of Truth is Falsehood, and the Father of all Falsehood is Satan.  Communism, at the core, is about Lies.  Communism is a lie.  The ambition of Communism is to convince people of the non-existence of God, the perfectibility of the World, and the perfectibility of all of Human Society, through the plan of Man.  But even that is a lie; a lesser lie.  The greater lie of Communism involves hiding the secret fact that the real, true Marxist ambition and ultimate goal is the achievement of Global Dictatorship, and Global Dictatorship cannot be achieved without the aid of a population who first believes the lesser lie. 

We described the Great Communist Lie some time ago.  The "Lesser" lie of Communism - the possibility of an earthly Utopia, with perfect Egalitarianism, community property, communal living, and a "Worker's Paradise", no hunger, no want, no poverty - is so obviously and glaringly impossible as to be downright stupid.  The human condition is what it is.  We are all different.  If none of us as individuals are perfect, how could it be possible to force all of human society into anything like perfection? 

Freedom - which is an absolute requirement before true love may be given - is written on the heart of man in the Natural Law, by the Divine Author of Nature.  Freedom is necessary for love, because love is not love without the ability to not love.  The ability to decide, freely.  Love is nothing without freedom.  It does not exist.  True love cannot be forced.  Only submission can be forced; but submission is not love. 

The achievement of Communism demands the suppression and eventual elimination of freedom, for the supposed "common good" of the larger society.  As man loses freedom, he loses the capacity to love.  Consider for a moment the Greatest Commandment: 

How is any man supposed to do that if he is not free to do it? 

Catholicism is about preserving, defending, teaching and preaching Truth, and adamantly opposing Falsehood.  Communism, a lie in and of itself, is about advancing itself in human consciousness through lies, big and small, through indoctrination, propaganda, disinformation and distortion of various truths.  So how could any true Catholic believer ever be swayed to accept, let alone promote, any part of the Communist lie?

I have been reading Malachi Martin's book, The Keys of This Blood; The Struggle for World Dominion Between Pope John Paul II, Mikhail Gorbachev & The Capitalist West.  It's taking an inordinate amount of time to digest it.  There are interruptions; there is limited free time; but most of all, it is very weighty, provocative and even shocking material, of a somewhat prophetic nature.  The insights are deep, and some paragraphs or whole sections are so involved I have to read them over again, multiple times.  Additionally, when I come across something completely new to me, I feel I have to verify it, and that sometimes takes an inordinate amount of time because my skills as a scholar or researcher are so poor. 

This book sheds light on how Communist Favor entered Catholic thought. 

Pope Saint John Paul the Great saw the great geopolitical battle between Communism and Capitalism as a struggle for eventual World Domination, and he determined to enter the Catholic Church into that competition.  Truth, after all, should have something to say about World Dominion, rather than merely be a quiet, inconsequential bystander while the real battle rages.  From the moment of his installment, he entered the battle, without guns or missiles or divisions or navies.  With Truth.  And with some rather stunning success.  He got the whole world's full attention. 

But Evil, including Marxism, had already infected the Church itself, at very high levels.  While John Paul the Great was going from nation to nation, disregarding the nature of ruling regimes and even his own safety, spreading his message of Truth to millions of thrilled listeners everywhere, Atheistic Marxist Evil was metastasizing within the Church of which he was the Vicar. 

He was aware of this evil, and he took no action to stop it.  Why?  He believed that the global mission was the more important mission, number one, and number two, he believed that, eventually, the very power of the Keys granted by Christ Himself, and the Holy Spirit, would eventually defeat the evil inside the Church, if not in his own pontificate then in another one.  If the very Gates of Hell would not stand against the Church, the evil inside the Church was of lesser worry than the advancement of the Gospel to all nations, including those most hostile to it. 

While the forces of ancient Western Civilization and of the newer Atheistic Marxism aligned against each other on a near verge-of-war footing, the Pope walked back and forth between them, quietly and peacefully, strangely insulated from them, sowing seeds of Truth in the hearts of untold millions.  With no guns, but with a warm smile, he blithely walked back and forth, right past the armed guards of both camps, awakening the Holy Spirit within the breast of the Baptized. 

In a similar manner, he was conciliatory, and more - embracing - of other religions, including even Islam.  He spoke of the natural "seeking of God" in the hearts of all believers, from Shintoism, Buddhism, etc., quietly enlisting them all as allies against the anti-God Movement, led by Secular Humanism and Militant Atheism. 

But while he did all that, he ignored the Atheistic Marxism metastasizing among the Catholic Clergy, including Bishops and Cardinals, who were supposed to be the official teachers of the details of this Truth the Pope was evangelizing to the larger world. 

And when all the thrilled millions lucky enough to attend a Papal rally in any land were subsequently drawn to local Catholic Parishes for more immersion into Catholicism, many if not most of them were then subjected to a watered-down if not false if not heretical teaching of Catholicism, at the hands of ever increasingly Marxified Catholic Clerics, from Cardinals to Deacons, and from similarly misled (or evil) Consecrated Religious and Lay Teachers. 

In Unreferenced Communism we wondered why Vatican II Documents never mentioned Marxism.  Every Pope and every Council since the 1848 publication of Marx's Communist Manifesto roundly condemned atheistic Marxism in strong terms; so why no mention of Marxism at all in all of Vatican II?  In that article an interview with Dr. Alice von Hildebrand reveals her suspicions of Pope Paul VI and/or people close to him either being Marxists, controlled by Marxists or strongly affected by Marxists.  And that may indeed have been true. 

But one of Malachi Martin's many insights revealed the reason Vatican II did not condemn Marxism, as the Church had done on every previous opportunity to do so.  It was a secret deal between Pope John XXIII and Nikita Khrushchev.  The reason Pope John called the Vatican II Council was to inspire all attendees with renewed faith and a vigorous mission of evangelization he hoped they would spread all round the world.  He desperately wanted that evangelization to penetrate the Soviet Union. 

In secret negotiations, Khrushchev agreed to allow Russian Bishops to attend Vatican II, and Pope John agreed that the Council would not issue any condemnation of Marxism or the Communist State. 

That was a bad deal.  Good intentions cannot change that fact. 

Soon after the opening session, more than 500 of the attending Bishops proposed that the Council issue a strong condemnation of atheistic Communism and its whole Marxist ideology.  That proposal never made it to the floor for a vote.  It was quashed by "Vatican Authorities", and now we know why.  This was no doubt taken by however many Bishops who were already infected with Gramsci-Marxism to be an open door, an invitation to grow and spread their Marxist poison.  And not so secretly. 

So, between John XXIII and Khrushchev, who was evangelizing whom? 

Khruschev, a true Marxist-Leninist, was the first Soviet Premier to slowly begin to recognize the value of Gramsci-Marxism over Hegelian-Marxism, and over Machiavellian-Marxism, and over direct conquest by war.  Gramsci lies were already creating something new in Western European governments, described as Euro-Communism, in which free nations were willingly becoming more and more Socialist, almost completely on their own.  All they needed was Marxist infection of their education systems and their journalism schools. 

In the Church, this Vatican II negotiated accommodation with evil is what gave birth to Liberation Theology.  It would dominate Latin America with Marxism-Light, disguised as True Catholicism.  Ultimately, Marxist inspired, action oriented Liberation Theology became the dominating theme and commitment of the most powerful Catholic religious orders.  Jesuits, Dominicans, Franciscans, Maryknollers and more.  Marxism, not Catholicism.  Whether they know it or not, that's what it is. 

And, it would appear, that is what Pope Francis is infected with. 

It is important to note that there is nothing benign in this new Marxist thinking.  The ultimate goals remain Marxist-Leninist, and that is to say, global domination, destruction of all social constructs and institutions, including the Church, including all sovereign nations, and a New World Order, to be ruled by dictator after dictator after dictator.  Rule of man.  Utter barbarity, in other words. 

And, it is important to note that wherever Marxism advances, under whatever variant, there will always arise some Hegelians, and some Machiavellians, and some who want simple open war.  In any active group of Marxists, all the Marxist will not be merely Gramsci-Marxists, ever.  And, the overarching theme will always be Marxism-Leninism, and the ultimate goal will never change.  For any of them.  They all intend to get to the same place, by whatever means.

I have not finished reading Malachi Martin's The Keys of This Blood, but I felt compelled to speak of these things to those who might not have read it yet.  I highly recommend the book, and seek your insights on these matters. 

Let me repeat the first paragraph in this article:

John Paul the Great knew dissent was growing among the Bishops, and he left it for a future Pope and the majority of Bishops and the Holy Spirit to fix that later.  He concentrated on evangelizing in every nation, and in aligning disparate, not-Christian religions with Catholicism against Secular Humanism and Militant Atheism.  At this point, as much as I love him and revere his memory, I cannot determine whether his pontificate was a success or a failure.  Because as dissent grew among the Bishops, so did attendant loss of faith.  You cannot embrace any Falsehood without surrendering some Truth.  So Marxist-inspired Secular Humanism advanced its cause among the Bishops of the Catholic Church. 

After all of John Paul the Great's great evangelizing rallies all over the world, untold millions of newly inspired laity took their new Christian zeal back to the local Churches, in their Dioceses and Archdioceses, to be further Catechized in Catholicism by dissenting Catholic clerics, who were increasingly steeped in Gramsci-Marxism, Secular-Humanism and Liberation Theology.  As opposed to Catholicism. 

What good did it do to bring inspired and evangelized people into the Church if the Church itself was ever increasingly infected with all the lies of Atheistic Marxism?  The parasitic forms of Marxism are proving themselves more dangerous, to Truth and the freedom that flows from Truth, than the more militaristic forms of Marxism. 

Make no mistake about it:  Everything in Marxism is a lie.  Perfection is not of this world, but the next.  Communist Utopia is so obviously impossible as to be considered infantile, silly and stupid.  Yet millions believe it.  Nothing in the entire Marxist-inspired Eco-Nazi Movement is true; every bit of it is a lie.  There is not one bit of real science behind any of it.  Science itself has been infected and virtually taken over by Marxist-inspired Scientism.  Marxism owns formal education and upper academia, not only in America, but all over the world.  Children and college students are no longer educated; they are indoctrinated. 

The nature of man is being changed, on our watch.  If man no longer thinks freely, or decisively, but only with directed thought, is he still man?  Is he still homo sapiens?  Or has he been made more animalistic, and thus more trainable, more exploitable, and less free?  Without even knowing it. 

Clearly the Church's attention seems currently to be focused on the World rather than the Kingdom.  Fixing the world, and making the world perfect.  As if that could be done. 

The problem has grown so big that no one wants to be the one to solve it.  No one wants to be the "Bull in the China Shop" potentially wrecking everything.  No Pope wants to be the one to fix the Church.  No Bishop wants to be the one to fix the Diocese.  No Presidential Candidate wants to be the one to fix America, and bring it back under the Constitution.  It took years and years, decades and decades, for the situation to get this bad, and so everyone thinks or feels that it cannot be fixed overnight.  It is commonly believed that it will take years and years, or decades and decades, to get things right again, whether in the Church, in America, or in any other nation. 

That's the real problem. 

The longer we let the problem grow, the closer we come to actual violent revolution.  Not just here; in the whole world.  Maybe that's not what the Gramsci-Marxists or the Hegelian-Marxists or the Liberation-Theologists intend to happen, but there are other Marxists among them who are working hard to make violent revolution happen.  Comrade President Obama, peace be upon him, is one such Revolutionary Marxist.  Knowingly or not, the Gramsci-ites, Hegelians and Liberation Theologians are helping to bring the final, planned-for bloodbath about. 

The "this cannot be fixed overnight" thinking is what is now doing us in.  It's exactly how we got tens of millions of criminal aliens in among us.  The "cannot-be-fixed-overnighters" were chanting that stupid mantra when it was mere hundreds.  The illogical and suicidally emotional feeling that we cannot round them all up, or, we cannot deport them all,  only gets worse year after year.  Being stuck on mushy sentimentality has exactly the same effect as surrendering and giving up. 

The Church needs a Pope who will be the Bull in the China Shop, and make a real mess in the Church.  Laicizing and excommunicating unfaithful Cardinals and Bishops by the hundreds, suppressing whole unfaithful religious orders, closing unfaithful Catholic universities and reestablishing Catholic Doctrine throughout the world.  Making the word Catholic actually mean something unique in the world. 

America needs a President, and a Congress, who will be the Bull in the China Shop, and make a real mess in America, impeaching Justices, Senators, Congressmen and others who have acted in direct violation of the Constitution.  Setting new Constitutional Precedents, as the Supreme Court did in Maybury v Madison.  Presidential Review and Congressional Review could declare laws, executive actions, legal precedents and regulations to be unconstitutional, null and void from that moment on. 

Whole unconstitutional bureaucracies, such as the EPA, could be declared unconstitutional and shut down, immediately.  There are a blue million things that could be done, legally, legitimately and constitutionally, if someone just had the guts to just do it.  See the Fixing America pages and the Cut the Spending pages.  Making the word America actually mean something unique in the world. 

It's very simple, really.  The battle is between Truth and Falsehood. 

Truth is Holy.  Falsehood is Evil.  No one can be both Holy and Evil. 

Pray for the Church; pray for America; pray for the world.

defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

You lost me on your reference to "the Right". 

In Eurasia and most of the non-American world, "The Left" is Bolshevism, or original Communism, and "The Right" is 20h century Fascism and National Socialism, opponents of Communism since WWII, but still Marxist, like Bolshevism. 

In America, "The Left" is all forms of Marxism, including Communism, Fascism and National Socialism, and "The Right" is American Constitutionalism. 

So who are these "false friends funded by the Right"?

Added graphic links at the bottom of the article linking to related information.  The "New Evangelization" of laymen is, to me, pointless and a waste of time until the day we can clearly see and know that truly faithful Bishops, at the very least, predominate in numbers inside the Church Christ founded.  And if they do that now, they've got a very funny way of showing it.

Catholic Worker is so out of line in preparing for dd canonization, they are obsessed, they are outright communists now. They are people who went from lefty pacifists to extreme hating American government.  The group became a gang of psychological warriors and the pacifism is meant to have America just disarm in when confronted by dictatorship.

Don't know how I am still there.

Hi Vic

I don't want hog the blog any way but an interesting development arose at the CW in NY (headquarters.  I personally don't get involved there but few people speak to me about latest news. I keep myself outward and see other people and have good social life but rumor has it here that a volunteer wishes to have a catholic nun come into the house and live in.  It seems to this volunteer that the spirit is not  what it should be.  I don't know if this will happen, but it is interesting.

Hi Vic, haven't seen your site in awhile I am still with cw in nyc, and at peace there for the most part.  However, I am seeing a lot of animal farm there though there are a mixed group.  I cant judge all persons there as the same.  However, it looks more like 1984.

It sounds Orwellian, and appropriately so.  I haven't been active on my website for over a month now, because I'm just finishing up my first book.  Any day now I will be publishing, and advertising it on this site.  Dorothy Day gets a mention, because Pope Francis honored her in his address to Congress, which really set my teeth on edge.  It seems oddly appropriate that this Pope should honor her.

Congratulations on your book!  you're site is wonderfully truthful.
cw is probably a bore but I did find some pamphlets and bookmarks regarding the Friday night meeting (which I do not attend) nor do I attend their masses.

I think it is a right of individuals to believe in what they will. However I found references to beliefs on the premise of auditorium that give me an answer as to why I am not akin to it. True Christianity should not mix all other religions into one "we are one" does not always apply.  I found a bookmark there on desk which blended Gandhi, hare Krishna, and Christianity into one.  I am not perfect, or a saint, or an evangelist, but I believe in the Trinity as Jesus Christ is Lord, and not a mix-up of other faiths which may be a reversal.

I am treated respectfully there; and liked believe it or not; but sometimes I feel many just don't know what to think of me as to why I am different.  (excuse my flaws in this writing)
