Vic Biorseth, Saturday, July
I have taken a lot of heat for saying what I said in No Salvation Outside the Church, some of it not printed due to unworthiness of public view. Detractors of the Church come in all forms and varieties.
This new Vortex episode completely backs up the contention that salvation comes only through the Church. No matter how "Nice" any Parish, any Diocese or Archdioces, or even the whole Church becomes, the original Revealed Truth does not change. Outside the Church, yes; Inside? It may be "Nice-ified" and not taught or preached in its completeness, and its rules may even be violated by clerics, but the Objective Truth itself does not change. If it did, it wouldn't be Objective Truth.
As to where to go to find it, well, just thank God for the Catechism. Contemporary Catholics in many places are almost entirely on their own these days.
I am not the Lone Ranger here. Nor, I'm sure, is Michael Voris; but those few who are speaking out are too few and too far between, especially among clerics, and even more especially among Bishops. Take a look at the Vortex episode, Facing the Music (or read the transcript) and then watch Marx Gone Mad (or read the Transcript), and see if some of you still think that old Vic is the only real nut-burger around here.
When ranking clerics seem to be following the lead of ranking politicians, the whole world is in trouble. Every time Islam strikes again, multiple Presidents and Prime Ministers, and Clerics, are quick to assure us that "Islam had nothing to do with it" and "It's just a criminal act" and, essentially, there's nothing to see here, go back to sleep. It was probably the Tea Party.
Our unconstitutional new Ruling Class is systematically turning an independent citizenry into a completely dependent citizenry, directing every private sector product from light bulbs to power production and consumption to medicine, food and even water, with full support if not collusion from the media, from academia and science, and - get this - from clerics.
What's good for the environment is good for the planet, and for the animals, and for all life other than human life, and all rights other than the rights of human beings, especially those who are Christian, Jewish, heterosexuals and members of normative families.
It's a Social Justice thing. See?
But all is not lost. Yet. There are heroes rising here and there, against the winds of worldly trends, suicidal diversity, social suicide and ecumenicide. See this Sample Of Faith for proof that real leadership among Catholic clerics is not extinct. I personally know clerics who are of this mold; pray that there are more Bishops like Archbishop Sample. In all probability, he is not the only one; just one of the few who speak up, unafraid.
When they do, support them with prayer, and with whatever other support you can give them. Do not just watch; get in there with them.
The whole world is not going to get out of the mess it's in unless and until the Church leads the way.
Seek the Truth; find the Way; live the Life. Please God and liver forever.

Never be lukewarm.
Life itself demands passion.
He who is indifferent to God has already forfeited his soul.
He who is indifferent to politics has already forfeited his liberty.
In America, religion is not mere window dressing and citizenship is not a spectator sport.
Do not allow our common destiny as a whole people to just happen without your input.

"We belong to the Church militant; and She is militant because on earth the powers of darkness are ever restless to encompass Her destruction. Not only in the far-off centuries of the early Church, but down through the ages and in this our day, the enemies of God and Christian civilization make bold to attack the Creator’s supreme dominion and sacrosanct human rights.”--Pope Pius XII
"It is not lawful to take the things of others to give to the poor. It is a sin worthy of punishment, not an act deserving a reward, to give away what belongs to others."--St. Francis of Assisi
