Is reality - existence itself - all self grounded?
The "Big Bang" is now being disapproved by "scientists", because ... well, because it points to matter being created out of nothing, which points to an immaterial creator.
Can't have that.
Note that disapproved is not disproved. It is simply out of favor. Secularized science today is obsessed with the notion of self-grounded existence. It is an obsession, and this obsession is the reason I consider "scientific" atheism to be a mental illness.
Figures like Richard Dawkins and Stephen Hawking evangelize the world into their own obsession through flawed education. Formal education is already infected with Cultural Marxism and associated "scientific" falsehoods, historical falsehoods and false catastrophic environmental crises all aimed at centralizing political power through purposely mal-educated and frightened citizenry.
So the Big Bang is out. Does that mean that the universe is not expanding any more? Well, no, ... not quite.
Does that mean that all the calculations of the age of the universe, based on that one certain point from which everything in the universe is rapidly expanding away from? Well, no, ... not quite.
So then, what does it mean?
It means that, because the math blows up at the singularity, and at the event horizon of a black hole, the theory can't be correct, because math is the one absolutely perfect, precise science; it cannot "blow up". If a theory cannot be calculated, the theory cannot be correct.
Math is absolute; anything beyond math is transcendent and extra or super natural, and incalculable. And that simply cannot be. If the formula blows up, the formula is wrong. Good formulae do not blow up.
So say the wizards of smart.
But what's really behind the "scientific" disapproval of Big Bang theory is transcendence itself. The very idea of a transcendent being or unnatural cause of - everything. And anything. If God cannot be calculated, then God does not exist. See?
Matter always was and always will be. There's just some knowledge about it that we don't possess yet, but we will; we will; some day, we will.
So the universe is a self-contained and self-explaining system, containing untold millions and billions of of other self-contained and self-explaining systems, all of which are or will be calculable and understandable by science. That's what science is for.
The premise seems to be that only mathematics is "true".
But, if only math is "true", can they prove it?
Does all of this make Science a god?
Are physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc., gods, or altars to gods? Is a mathematical formula a liturgy? Are scientists priests, or are they gods? What modern science seems to be saying is that science is the center and font of all truth; not God. They displace God. Does that not mean they replace Him? Where is the creed, or the catechism, or the explanation for this religion? How does it work?
I see a danger here of men beginning to worship themselves.
This pure science thinking started with the Enlightenment and Modernism, and got it's first real "scientific" boost from Darwinism. Evolution of species, unproven to this very day, is the "scientific" basis for belief in self-contained and self-grounded systems. From there it spread to self-explained systems of human consciousness, through the silly belief system of Freudianism. From there it spread to self-explained systems of social and socio-economic consciousness, through the silly belief system of Marxism.
But all of this is pseudo-science. It is Scientism, which is much more of a faith-based or religious belief system than actual science.
Scientists who are convinced and zealous atheists have an obsessive need to produce explanations for systems that preclude any transcendent creator or being. They want to explain both the beginning and the development of complex systems, such as the universe, such as the atom, such as complex compounds, such as the living cell, such as the human being, through "nature" alone. Without considering the beginning of nature itself, of course; that's why the new "always was and always will be" latest explanation of everything.
What they completely overlook, or distract attention from, is:
- The existence of extremely complex systems.
- The fact that, over time, things become more simple.
Things break down. They become more simple, not more complex.
Life, for instance. Living beings.
New species are believed to evolve from chance favorable mutation.
But mutation, in every case, produces less genetic material than it began with, not more. That means the mutant form is more simple, not more complex, than the parent form. Devolution, rather than evolution. The more mutation occurs, the less change in generations is possible, because there is always less genetic material for nature to work with, never more.
So, if Darwin's theory is true, where did complexity originate?
What pure materialism points to is pointless, purposeless, accidental existence, with no origination. It just always was and always will be. It forces a replacement of morality with "values", and "values" are determined in a purely utilitarian fashion. A thing, or a person, either has utility - some form of usefulness - or it does not.
Currently, we are all worried about the advance of moral relativism. In the complete absence of belief in God and in God's Law, moral relativism should be the least of our worries. Pure material utilitarianism enables the worst forms of human barbarity to come to the forefront. "Secular Humanism" is small potatoes. And we've been here before, but we haven't learned from the history of the gulags, the state terror, the famines, the camps, the slave labor, the ovens, the mass murder, etc.
I'm not saying that's what our most famous and prominent scientists are driving at. I'm just saying that's what Marxism is using them to accomplish.
Today, thanks to the preeminence of material science over Judaeo-Christian belief, we see people "identifying" as other than whatever they are, and our government supporting their "right" to pretend to be other than whatever they are, and punishing us for not pretending that they are other than whatever they are.
Just as Marxocrat politicians pretend to be (or "Identify" as) pro-Americans, and just as Republicrats pretend to be (or "identify" as) conservatives, and just as not a few mortal enemies of Jesus Christ and His Church pretend to be (or "identify" as) Roman Catholic Bishops.
Look around at how many grown, educated adults are wringing their hands and worrying about how to solve the newly discovered problem of transgenderism, and how to accommodate all the exponentially multiplying varieties.
They actually believe it.
And it all started with one little lie ...

I must say... Once, I have been in a similar boat as people like Dawkins and Hawking. It's easy to believe such lies as theirs - just like a mirage, it all seems real and solid from a distance. But when you poke at it directly - it fades away like nothing. How utterly ironic is that the preachers of evolutions and quantum mechanics (two of the most unscientific/magical strains of non-thinking in contemporary "science") deride the faithful for believing in God. And the reason why these lies in particular are believed with such ease is because they possess smidgens of truth. Micro-evolution is well-proven - however, the lie rears itself when, with a straight face, some people tell that the humans evolved from apes or, in the beginning, from mere bacteria. Suppose that evolution was true. That the tautology "the fittest survive" is taken to it's ultimate conclusion - why there are multiple species at all, all with their sometimes-very-narrow, but in all cases expressly defined ecological niches? Why there didn't arise a "super-organism" that would combine all the "best" attributes in itself over time? If, supposedly, something like bacteria could "evolve" into man over some few billion years, why a single species of "ultimate lifeform" (with absolutely no weaknesses) hadn't overrun the Earth yet (especially if the "fit" traits should've included things like constant telomere replication - which would render lifeforms with such a trait immune to old age)? Isn't that a theory-piercing question? Well... Like that parable about two houses goes, you cannot build your house on sand - if the theory cannot withstand the scrutiny of basic logic and is self-contradictory at it's very premise, it cannot be true, because God did not make physical reality to be illogical. Quantum mechanics are even worse - it is a prime example of what happens if the math tosses away the necessary physical assumptions. Sub-atomic particles - in current theory - are supposed to be "points" and yet, points cannot exist in reality (as reality is three-dimensional and points, being zero-dimensional, are infinitely small). Or that, in Quantum Electrodynamics, charge is transmitted by "virtual" ("not real", "not observable" - sounds like screwed-up math to me) photons that cannot be shown to interact with anything mechanically (now that is some bullshit/magic), leaving the electromagnetic charge with NO mechanical cause (which is impossible according to simple logic). Same with the "weak force" - it is supposed to be mediated by W+/W- and Z-bosons (which are heavier then entire atoms of iron, if we look at the level of energy these bosons are supposed to have - namely, 80 GeV). According to QED, W+/W- bosons facilitate the reversal/"flavor change" of a quark in a given proton/neutron - yet, the energy level for a given quark (up or down) is something like 4 MeV. How come you need something so strong to "reverse" something so much smaller (in terms of energy)? In macroscopic terms, that's a lot like redirecting a bowling ball with a Tsar bomb. That's a huge, red flag according to simple logic. And then, we get this gem - the W- boson decays into an electron (0.5 MeV) and a neutrino (even the neutrinos released in experiments on Earth cap out at some 28 GeV - and the natural-released ones have lower energy then the aforementioned electron). Where that huge amount of energy that's not covered by an electron or the neutrino actually goes? Neither to the electron - neither to the neutrino. According to current theory, it must've went to the "vacuum". I bullshit you not - some "scientists" really believe that "borrowing" energy from the "vacuum" (despite, you know, "vacuum" being a void and one of postulates of physics being that you cannot assign an extension, energy, force, whatever to the vacuum). Then, we move onto the natures of the weak force bosons. They were initially predicted to be massless by the SU (2) gauge theory - but, experiments show that they are NOT massless? Well. That's what we have the Higgs mechanism and Higgs' boson (which are also not proven by any mechanics) for - as some sort of a "symmetry-breaking" (logic-breaking, more likely - of course, there is no actual mechanics in there, just pure hogwash of a theory) post-hoc correction to the math. And that's just the weak force... The strong force - with it's fully-theoretical/fully-unobserved gluons and quarks (where the abscence of quarks in experiments is taken as "proof" of "confinement" (which states that due to a special, "color" charge field, the quarks are combined into protons and neutrons and, of course, cannot be separated without - wait for it - quarks borrowing the energy from the vacuum and spawning new linked quarks immediately, preventing isolation). I submit that the errors in "quantum mechanics" (there is little there to do with mechanics - and, the Quantum Chromodynamics/strong force stands as wholly non-mechanical). Of course, all this is just a light - comparatively - critique (a full critique would probably require tomes upon tomes of books). As Murray Gell-Mann said:
"In order to obtain such relations that we conjecture to be true, we use the method of abstraction from a Lagrangian field-theory model. In other words, we construct a mathematical theory of the strongly interacting particles, which may or may not have anything to do with reality, find suitable algebraic relations that hold in the model, postulate their validity, and then throw away the model. We may compare this process to a method sometimes employed in French cuisine: a piece of pheasant meat is cooked between two slices of veal, which are then discarded."
So... Math drives physics - math is to be put before reality. No matter who you read - Hawking most of all - most of contemporary physicists state something to the effect of "we are not concerned with reality, because we don't claim to know anything about reality; we only want to match the math to the experiment." And they call us unreasonable. Post-modernism at it's finest, there. So... Anytime a haughty "Steven Hawking" or a "Richard Dawkins" tries to "educate" you with intimidating/magical tales of splitting particles, you can always ask them such loaded questions as the problems I've described above - and whether their belief in "science"/scientism is more "reasonable" then your and mine belief in God.
