Chickafied America.

Chickafied is a Rushism.  The term was coined by Rush Limbaugh to describe the not-so-gradual movement of society away any sense of bold adventure, which involves risk of some kind, and toward a more "safe and sensible" be careful and be sensitive stand-patism.  The Chickafied approach is often so cautious in decision making as to be completely indecisive. 

Stupefied is a term normally used to describe a temporary condition of inability to think clearly due to amazement or astonishment, or, shock and surprise, or, exhaustion and fatigue. Most usually the stupefied condition is temporary. 

Stupidefied is the term I prefer to use to describe the slower, purposeful, systematic dumbing-down of a person or a population by a person or group who seeks to teach, direct and guide the "proper thinking" of the stupidefied person or population.  The motivation for the stupidification process may be sinister, or it may be a simple case of super elitist hubris and false superiority on the part of the perpetrator(s).  Quite often the stupidefied condition is not temporary, or at least it is not of short duration. 

I submit that the American population is being both Chickafied and Stupidefied at the same time. 

Chickafication.

To become chickafied is to become less masculine; to "connect with your feelings" and to "connect with your inner child" and to learn to emote more, and to pay more attention to relationships, and all that crap.  To become more feminine, in the belief that femininity is superior to masculinity.  Once upon a time we called that being sissified, but that was then and this is now. 

Rush has been warning for some time that the NFL in particular and the entire sport of football in general is almost certainly doomed by the chickafication process.  The reason is that football players get concussions, and other kinds of boo-boos, and our super-elite intelligentsia, who alone are wise, intend to make us into a boo-boo-less society, where no one ever, ever gets a boo-boo.  Heavens no; boo-boos are bad, in many ways. 

I don't follow sports much, since I was turned-off by all the steroid-doping in baseball and football a long time ago.  But it is obvious even to one who does not follow sports that Rush was right; there's hardly a day that goes by without someone hyping all the danger of the football boo-boo, with the concussion at the top of the list.  Football will probably be made illegal in our lifetime, if we allow this process to continue.  I don't see anyone trying to stop it. 

But chickafication reaches way beyond sports.  Today you will see on TV and hear on the radio a regular advertisement featuring "bullied" children taking turns telling what they learned in school today.  One learned that she was ugly; another that she was dumb; another that he was a dork; and on, and on, until we learned what they all did not learn: why no one would "help" the poor little bullied children.  Sniff.  They needed someone to kiss it and make it better, and to pat them on the head and tell them they're smart, and pretty, and just wonderful.  Because, everybody knows, there is no boo-boo like a psychological boo-boo, and children need to know that they are just perfect. (Sob; snorkle; choke; sniff.)  Oh, the poor little dears. 

By the way, that's a government ad, which means, you paid for it. 

And now, we have this new thing called cyber-bullying.  It's bad enough that the class bully might push you around, and that someone might say something bad to you or about you, but now, someone might say something bad on-line!  Oh, the horror of it all.  Why, this is so serious that the federal government, and even the UN needs to get involved in it. 

Does any of this make you wonder how your great-great-great-great-great grandparents ever even survived in the total absence of all this brand new anti-bullying wisdom? 

Individual competition produces excellence in individual performance, and team competition produces excellence in organization building and teamwork.  So what's the problem?  Fierce but honest open competition, whether physical or intellectual, produces excellence; what the chickafiers are all in a tizzy about is that it also produces losers. 

Can't have that. 

Competition runs in all areas of life, and an important part of competition and the competitive spirit includes intimidation of the opponent, and the intimidation aspect of competition is what produces bullying.  It is the determination to not be intimidated, and the determination to win, that often produces the boo-boo.  The win, the loss and the boo-boo are all important parts of life.  If you can't deal with it in the game you're in, find another game. 

You cannot eliminate risk without eliminating excellence. 

There are billions of possible areas of competition.  In all of them, where competition produces excellence, elimination or avoidance of competition, through chickafication, produces only a lukewarm and disgusting collective porridge of social sameness and mediocrity.

Stupidefication.

Where to begin?  Where to end?  Stupidefication touches all areas of life in America.  I think I'll just limit this to four, for otherwise I might never finish writing this. 

First, the stupidefied thinking about guns, and gun control.  The thinking is, if guns were eliminated, there would be no gun crimes.  Well, areas where guns are already illegal have the highest gun crime rates.  So, the stupidified response to that simple fact is that, guns are available somewhere else, so the criminals go somewhere else, get the guns, and come back to commit gun crimes. 

(Heavy sigh.)  How do you eliminate guns outside your jurisdiction?  Why, with national laws, and international laws, says stupidified thinking.  Make guns illegal all across the planet.  Then the criminals won't be able to go elsewhere, get guns and return to commit gun crimes. 

(Give me strength.)  Criminals, by definition, disobey laws, and so they will obtain guns, smuggle guns and if need be they will manufacture guns with which to commit gun crimes.  Stupidified thinking says to eliminate guns and gun technology, with all knowledge about guns to somehow be made illegal, so no one can manufacture guns.  Except the police.  And maybe the army.  And, well if we could get rid of guns althogether, maybe we would no longer need any police or any army.  See? 

(Lord, take me now; I can't take any more.)  This stupidified thinking doesn't even see that taking guns away from the free citizenry invites the exact tyrannical government power that the Second Amendment was intended to protect against.  Government, by its very nature, seeks to increase its own power.  Our Constitution was designed to legally restrict that natural tendency of government, and to legally force government to stay within the constraints of the Constitution.  An unarmed citizenry with an armed police force is, definitively, a police state.  A police state is, eventually if not immediately, a tyrannical state. 

This gun control stupidity has been purposely spoon-fed to the purposely dumbed-down moron vote, from education, the news media and politicians, for so many generations now that majorities in whole voting jurisdictions have been stupidefied into actually believing it. 

Lord help us. 

Second, the stupidefied thinking about Keynesian, or Demand Side economics.  We all know (or should know) that Supply-Side economics, known most famously as Reaganomics, works to the benefit of national and international economic health.  Historically, every time it has been applied it has resulted in a rising economy.  No exceptions.  So, just looking at that simple fact, we also know (or should know) that the opposite works to the detriment of national and international economic health.  Again, history backs up the intuitive, common-sense, logical conclusion; every time Demand-Side has been applied it resulted in economic stagnation or a declining economy.  No exceptions. 

We discussed Supply-Side and Demand-Side economics in the American Political Ideologies page; you can read about them there, I won't go into that detail again here.  It's enough to know two things here:

1. Demand-Side always fails;
2. Demand-Side is the fanatical approach of the current regime and its Communist Party.  (I mean Democrat.)

The fatal flaw in Demand-Side is the false belief, or lie, that says that giving government money, which came from the citizens, back to the citizens, increases Demand for products and services when the citizenry spends the money, stimulating the economy.  If you know anything about how the free market works, you know that this it putting the cart before the horse.  The fatal flaw is that the money the government gives to the citizenry came out of the citizenry in the first place; that makes it a wash. 

The only place government gets money is from taxes.  That's it.  So our government, in its wisdom, took the money out of the private sector (and thus out of the economy) and gave it to the citizenry, expecting some kind of great economic return on that "investment."  But if they were mathematically astute enough to know how to do simple addition and subtraction, they would know that taking x dollars out of the economy and putting x dollars back into the economy results in a final transaction balance of zero. 

Actually, it will be less than zero, because all of the citizenry won't spend it all, and those that do, and even if they all did, their spending transactions, and any new business it generated, could not generate anywhere near enough tax income to make up for what was taken out of the tax income in the first place.  You don't take tax income dollars from citizens, give them back to citizens, and expect something to change for the better.  If those tax dollars had never been taken from the citizens in the first place they would have done some economic good. 

Only free citizens create wealth.  Governments only consume wealth. 

What this means is that, every time you ever heard anyone talk about an "economic stimulus" or the need for the government to "stimulate the economy" you were listening to a liar telling a lie.  Or, to an absolute idiot, possibly due to stupidification. 

Nancy Pelosi epitomizes what we're talking about here.  Here's a direct quote:

The truly pitiful thing about that quote is that, today, there are actually large numbers of educated American adults who will hear that sort of thing and believe it. 

By Pelosi's logic, if every single American was unemployed the American economy would be booming like never before.  Pelosi is stupidification personaified.  The interesting thing is, she may have been stupid even before being subjected to stupidification; it's hard to tell.  Even much of the moron vote is generally too smart for this line of crap.  Nancy Pelosi is the perfect, poster-child example of the '60s era Hippie burn-out, with skull contents completely replaced by an aged, tired witches brew consisting of equal parts of excrement and dope. 

But here's the really scary thing: she keeps getting re-elected.  What does that tell you about her local electorate?  For that matter, what does the abysmal depths of the stupidity of Harry Reed tell you about his electorate?

Third, the stupidified thinking about the military.  I've been hearing this one all my life, and in all probability so have you.  Way, way back in the olden days when I was in the Army, there was a draft in force.  Those of us who enlisted got service numbers beginning with the letters RA for Regular Army; draftees got service numbers beginning with the letters US, and National Guard got service numbers beginning with NG.  Among the draftees were always some of those who would just bitch, bitch, bitch, all day long, about everything.  Some few of them began their hitch with a negative attitude and they kept and carefully maintained that negativity throughout their entire, short (2 year) period of service. I strongly suspect that that is how they lived their entire lives - as pessimistic, negative non-cooperators. 

They held an inordinately low opinion of the regular soldier, and they voiced it at every opportunity.  In this twisted and illogical view, enlistees "couldn't make it on the outside," soldiering is all they could do, and they were universally referred to as "Lifers" whether they intended to stay in service long enough to retire or not.  I remember observing the obvious fact that the most vociferous of these complainers were just plain dumb; I wondered exactly what kind of life they would go back to when their hitch was done.  Back to mommy, maybe.  Some of them spoke and acted like, and might well have been the kind of people you used to see on Skid-Row. 

Recently we happened upon part of a History Channel series on the Revolutionary War, and it spoke of the British Redcoat in the same manner and tone in which the American disgruntled draftees spoke about the enlistees.  According to the History Channel, all the British Regulars were the dregs of society; they were all failures in life.  They failed at farming, or whatever business enterprise, and they couldn't get a job and make a living, so the Army was a "last resort" for food, shelter and any sort of life.  If it wasn't for the Army, they would be beggars, or they would starve to death. 

Again, as in almost every other area of human knowledge, I am astounded at the depth of the lies fabricated by the elites with which to mal-educate, mal-inform, dumb-down and stupidify the public. 

No young man ever joined the Navy to see the world.  No young man ever entered service out of any sense of adventure or patriotism.  All those men who joined after Pearl Harbor day, or after Nine-Eleven, were bums.  All those officers who came out of military academies and chose a career of military service were failures in life before they accepted their commissions.  (Lord, give me strength.)

Piled on top of this "soldiers are bums" false axiomatic truism is the Marxism-inspired "Pacifist" movement encouraging disarmament, ostensibly in the name of world peace.  What is publicly unspoken is the solid, unshakable Marxist rule that defines peace as the absence of resistance to Communism, and the solid, unshakable Islamic rule that defines peace as the absence of resistance to Islam.  So, to the sworn enemies of America, who claim to be peace-seeking Passivists, war is justified, but only so long as America exists as Constitutional America. 

You can read about this kind of Pacifism in the Catholic Communizer Dorothy Day page; she was famously a Pacifist.  She was all for disarmament, so long as the only ones disarming were Americans.  The Capitalist, rich, bourgeois nature of America provoked violence, and and anti-bourgeios violence was the only violence that was justified.  Similarly, the Catholic Church was "rich" and bourgeios, therefore, the Catholic Church "invited" violence against itself, and that anti-bourgeois violence was justified.  See? 

You can go to the Vietnam War page to read the malicious lies of the filthy traitor John Kerry slandering and demonizing all American veterans, living and dead, who ever served in Vietnam.  It was Billary "I loathe the military" Clinton who did his damndest to homosexualize the military, and it was the America-hating, anti-Constitutional, Marxist - Moslem - Alinskyite Revolutionary President, Comrade Barack Hussein Obama, peace be upon him, who actually did it.  His ongoing agenda includes getting as many open homosexuals, women, gangsters, criminals, Marxists and Moslems into the military ranks as possible, to weaken if not destroy unit cohesiveness and military effectiveness and promote internal strife and division, all while cutting the defense budget to the bone.  He does all this while building his own "civil" police forces to equal or exceed the force of all of our existing military forces.  (Gee, I wonder why.) 

Fourth, the stupidified thinking about the criminal aliens.  Yeah, I know; all of a sudden it's a screaming emergency again, and something absolutely has to be done right now.  Just like gun control, and a million other things.  It's an emergency.

And so we have another Gang Of Eight fully prepared to compromise if not directly violate the Constitution again in the name of solving a red hot emergency situation that just can't wait another minute.  Four of the eight are Republicans; so what's the difference between them and the Democrats?  Nothing.  Yes, that includes Rubio.  These people are all either stupid, or evil. 

We do not need a "plan" to deal with the criminal aliens that are here.  We do not need to "first" close the border.  All that we need to do is to enforce existing law, regarding aliens that are here illegally, the criminal activity of knowingly employing them, and the ability of aliens to cross our borders with impunity.  All of that needs to be done at the same time.  The only problem we have is the determined effort of the government to ignore the existing law and the current regime's determined refusal to enforce it. 

"You can't round them all up" say the experts; it would be impractical, say the stupidified, and it would be cruel, say the chickafied.  Well, boo-hoo.  Let's let it get even worse, so it will then be even more impractical, and it will be even more cruel.  It's kick the can all over again.  Forever. 

Sheriff Arpaio has proved that tent cities can be quickly and cheaply built and large populations can be fed a simple a diet cold Bologna at a reasonable cost.  Why should Marxists be the only ones on earth who can build prison camps?  Criminal aliens should be rounded up and held until they can be deported, criminal employers should be prosecuted for knowingly employing them, and the border should be absolutely secured against illegal entry, using the full might of the military if necessary. 

If America survives the Obama presidency, which is the only way our national borders are ever going to be secured and the only way we are ever going to be able to enforce existing illegal alien law, we could use Comrade Obama's secret FEMA prison camps that are currently being set up on existing military bases, and Guantanamo Bay.  (Gee, I wonder why he would be setting up secret prison camps.) 

Of course, that's a big if.  However, I submit that surviving the Obama presidency is the only way American law will be ever enforced, for this is a lawless regime.  Existing laws need to be enforced for civilization to continue.  Laws are made to be enforced. 

That is what existing law demands.  Very simple; nothing to it. 

There is no need for any new "plan" and there is no more of a screaming emergency for any new plan today than there was yesterday.  We already have a plan; it's called the law. I know how most Congressmen of both Parties hate that fact, but there it is, right in front of their faces; it is the law.  They are supposed to know that. 

Rush is right about this: the sole reason open borders are favored and criminal entry is promoted and protected by this regime and its Party is that the criminal aliens will eventually be granted amnesty and they will predominantly vote Marxist.  (I mean Democrat.)  That's it.  And we have lots and lots of big-shot Republicans actually cooperating in bringing this about.  Amnesty, camouflaged by variations of slick political wording, is at the end of every single one of their "plans" for dealing with this.  And amnesty means Marxist votes. 

Chickafied and Stupidified Senators and Representatives of both Parties will bloviate and bluster politically but do nothing worthwhile to stop the spending.  The claim that the Republican House controls the budget is a lie, unless the Republican House is all in cahoots with the White House.  If they could stop the spending, then, how come we have in excess of 16 Trillion dollars in debt, and it just keeps going up, and they haven't stopped it? 

After a lot of chickafied and stupidified Congressional bloviating full of sound and fury signifying nothing, whole classifications of guns, or perhaps all guns, will be made illegal by executive order.  Watch and see.

After a lot of chickafied and stupidified Congressional bloviating full of sound and fury signifying nothing, blanket amnesty will be declared for all criminal aliens by executive order.  Watch and see. 

The ultimate goal here has been obvious from the start.  The current regime intends to replace Constitutional America with a tyrannical dictatorship.  To that end, it is promoting crisis, discord, disharmony, citizen alienation, economic hardship, anger, and ultimately, it is hoped, utter chaos or even civil war.  Coupled with that effort is the ongoing effort to destabilize the larger world and even bring about wars, including wars against Israel, and a failure to come to Israel's aid. 

The plan of the current American regime was originally devised by Machiavelli.  It was improved by Hegel, and it was systematized by Marx.  Obama picked it up from Frank Marshal Davis and from Saul Alinsky.  He is doing what Machiavelli originally conceived, but he is doing it from inside the government, Alinsky style.   He has a lot of help. 

And the Republican Party is either too chicafied, too stupidified or to Marxist itself to be likely to do anything about it. 

It is up to us alone.

It is a stretch to say that no stimulus ever worked and all who advocated any stimulus is a liar or an idiot.  Just as many Republicans did this as Democrats.  You seem to form a minority of one who is quite certain about everything you write about in the face of majority opposition.  I think the only thing wrong with the recent stimulus packages was that they went to the wrong recipients.  Instead of going to banks or car companies they should have gone to the people.  If everyone got a multiple hundred thousand stimulus payment think of what that would do to the economy.

It is not a stretch; it is a fact.  No money taken out of the tax revenue, or borrowed, or printed, and put back into the economy in any way resulted in any net gain for the economy.  The government stimulus transaction starts out either removing money from the private sector, and/or, increasing national debt (which must be paid back,) and/or, devaluing currency, making our money of less value and raising the price of everything for everyone. 

The reason just as many Republicans as Democrats have been stimulus freaks is that Marxists (Democrats) never, never give up on what they are driving at, and Republicans always, always compromise, which means, Republicans always, always lose, whether in little nibbles or in big bites.

But don't think your idea hasn't been thought of by Democrats; it has.  They have done it before, and they will do it again; it is a major Marxist strategy for buying votes.  (Maybe you don't remember the Obama-phone.) 

If it looks like we're going to make it to another election, look for some of these "stimulus" approaches by the Marxists shortly before election day:

1. Government forgiveness of student loans.
2. Government forgiveness and writing-off of outstanding underwater Fannie-May and Freddie Mac home loans.  
3. A possible stimulus just as you describe, with a major big payment to taxpayers. 
   

That's how Obamunism buys votes from the suckers.  I mean the moron voters.  He takes their money and gives it back to them to buy their vote, with their own money.  None of them can see the mathematical error in this, where this is heading for the nation, for them personally, or the abject poverty, labor camps and cattle cars in their own future.  They will vote Obamunist in the hope of more and bigger future hand-outs. 

Sooner or later this well will run dry.  At the rate we're going it will be soon.
