And we've been doing it from the beginning.  That means championing Divisiveness over evil "Inclusiveness" and evil "Non-Judgmental-ism".  That's what we do here.  Following the formula

Human Culture = Religion + Politics

We recognize the simple fact that both religions and political organizations, i.e., governments, have rules, limitations, boundaries and borders, which must be carefully maintained unless and until a religion or a nation stops existing.   In which case, the culture itself stops existing, as a definable, recognizable culture. 

The most religiously destructive, politically destructive and culturally destructive thing a Christian American citizen can say is "Never talk about religion or politics in social gatherings".  Religion and politics should be the first things any of us want to talk about, because we need to talk about them, always.  Nothing else is as important in social discourse; everything else ranges between secondary and superfluous. 

This is the evil taboo that seduces and induces us all into a gradual, overly polite acceptance of un-resisted and uncorrected evil in our midst, and the growth of the sin of Indifference in our whole culture.  Until Indifference itself becomes a defining characteristic of our whole culture.  Who are we to judge? 

It is this evil (and stupid) gradual social acceptance of Indifference that induces parents to "Let the children make up their own minds about their religious beliefs", to the destruction of Domestic Church, which is the Church of the Family.  As the Family is the primal and foundational building block of a society, so the Family is the primal and foundational building block of the Parish. 

As the Family goes, so goes the larger Parish, and, as the Family goes, so goes the larger Culture. 

America was born a Christian nation, as pointed out in Breaking Secularism and elsewhere herein, and American religion drove American politics.  Because of that simple fact, the American rise to greatness among nations was nothing less than meteoric.   

Now, led by the advances of Cultural Marxism in America, American politics - now infected with Marxist ideology - is driving religion.  Because of that simple fact, the American fall to mediocrity and eventual Constitutional death is, again, nothing less than meteoric. 

While Cultural Marxism is driving American religion out of the public square and out of even having any legal public voice, it is also attacking Christianity itself, from within, as shown in the treatment of The Catholic Spring.  Marxist ideology is doing to Christianity the same thing it is doing to America, and all other nations.  If you want to seek the beginning point of Marxism's infiltration into Catholicism, you might begin with Why Vatican II didn't condemn Communism.   You can see how it has possibly infected the thought, however slightly, of some of our best and brightest Popes in Benedict XVI onl Globalism, and in the rest of the Papal Imperfections pages.  (Note that Globalism, or Global Government, is Politics, and not a matter of Revealed Faith and Morals.) 

Marxism, like Islam, stands opposed to everything America stands for, and everything Christianity stands for, and Marxism is on the rise here, due mostly if not solely to our own ever-growing Inclusiveness, Non-judgmental-ism and Indifference.  (All induced by the super-permissive, allowed advance of Cultural Marxism.) 

Let's just keep it simple, going back to basics, and define America's religious and political points of reference, as compared to what Cultural Marxism (the Marxocrat Party, the Media, Academia, Entertainment and the new anti-science quasi-religion of Scientism) says about them. 

A parallel comparison of Christian rights and Constitutional rights:

Christianity

Holds all men to stand equal before God. 

The three "Non-Negotiable" issues are absolute requirements to respect and protect human rights to:

  1. Life
  2. Freedom of Religion
  3. Marriage and the Family.

"Thou shalt not kill" establishes the right to life.  "Thou shalt not steal" and "Thou shalt not covet" establish the absolute right to honestly earn, possess and accumulate Private Property, or, Wealth.  "Honor thy father and thy mother" and "Thou shalt not commit adultery" establish the rights of the normative family and of marital fidelity.  "Thou shalt not bear false witness" establishes the right to stand in and depend up on truth.  All other rights of man and all other moral laws flow from these. 

Constitution

The Declaration of Independence was built entirely upon the Natural Law civil rights, established by the Divine Author of Nature, defined to be:

  1. Equal Justice
  2. Life
  3. Liberty
  4. Private Property
  5. Government derives its power from the People
  6. The People can abolish and re-establish Government if and when it violates these civil rights of the People.

All Constitutional citizen rights flow from these.  American Government is instituted and Constituted specifically to protect these civil rights.  Protecting these rights is government's very purpose for being.

Christianity further established "Non-Negotiable" prohibitions against artificial contraception, illicit sex in any form, sterile sex in any form including homosexuality and other sexual perversions, abortion, euthanasia, human eugenics and cloning, and everything that prohibits legitimate human procreation and thus produces a culture of death.  All of these things operate to the destruction of Sacramental Marriage and the safeguarding of the normative Family.  And, further prohibitions against any limitations on Free Will and Freedom of Conscience, in support of Liberty, Freedom of Religion, and the ability to rightly choose eternal salvation. 

A parallel comparison of the "evolution" of Christian moral law.

Denominationalism

Until 1930, all of Protestantism held fast to all of the moral non-negotiables, differing with Catholicism on doctrine and theology, but not on morality.  Beginning in 1930, all of Protestantism caved on artificial contraception, and gradually on most of the other non-negotiables.  But these changes were not born of the original unchanged revelation of Truth, from which came the Bible itself.  They were born of Denominationalism.  There are now denominations that bless abortion, that ordain homosexuals, and that teach a "live and let live" hands-off attitude toward all sorts of mortal sin.  Protestants, today, frequently "shop" for Pastors, including of other denominations, to find the one most convenient to their own chosen lifestyles. 

Catholicism

Catholic Magisterial teaching has never changed on any of the non-negotiables, or on anything else, for that matter.  But that does not mean that Catholic Magisterial teaching is universally held and taught by all American Catholic Bishops.  We have our own Catholic version of Denominationalism.  Since Vatican II we had not only our Liturgical Wars, but doctrinal wars on morality, too.  We have Bishops today who are Marxist to the core, who promote if not allow scandalous obstinate unrepentant public sinners, and political promoters of mortal sin, to full communion.  For the most part, whether laymen hear the unvarnished magisterial teaching or not depends on their diocese or archdiocese, with the exceptions of maverick Priests here and there.  We Catholics, too, are now denominational. 

The "Lavender Mafia" Bishops who still to this day commit and hide and protect homosexual crimes of clergy and who promote the acceptance of sodomy within the Church are probably always the same ones who are cooperating with Marxism and Globalism to displace and destroy nations.  Not withstanding the fact that nations are the only things standing between human civilization and utter barbarity. 

Catholics, too, "shop" for Pastors and Parishes.  Some seek the original Magisterial teaching, others seek lifestyle-convenient teaching.  We have actual homosexual Parishes, flying the rainbow flag of sodomy, and still calling themselves Catholic.  We have softened teaching on Marriage Annulments causing easy Catholic annulments to equal or exceed Protestant divorces and remarriages, and Bishops actually celebrating that fact.  When over half of all Catholics have left the faith since Vatican II and over half of those remaining practice artificial contraception, and more than half of all practicing Catholics vote the straight Marxocrat Party ticket, and we have priests leaving the priesthood still vastly outnumbering the newly ordained, and all plans for the future involve closing and "consolidating" Parishes, you might think that alarm bells are sounding among the hierarchy.  But they are not.  Crickets.  See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. 

The Constitution, on the other hand, further established in the Supreme Law of the Land the rights to Equal Justice, Life, Liberty and Private Property, right in the body of the Constitution itself, in its Bill of Rights and in other Amendments to the Constitution.   Every single established Constitutional citizen right stems from these original Declaration of Independence rights.  These rights cannot be violated with impunity, nor can they be legally abrogated without amending the Constitution itself.  At least not forever, unless America fails totally. 

A parallel comparison of major political Party agendas:

Marxocrat Party

Born the Party of slavery, secession and segregation, this Party is now the Party of rigid Secularism and increasingly open Gramsci-Marxism.  The predominant form is "Progressive" Socialism, but most leading or influential members range between Machiavellian violent revolutionaries and Hegelian instigated false "crisis by crisis" revolutionaries.  The Party opposes Christianity and especially Catholicism, opposes equality before the law, and opposes Life, Liberty and Private Property.  It is an anti-American, anti-Constitution Party of deceit, lies and treachery. 

Republicrat Party

Born the Party of Freedom, this Party is now the Party of Establishment Social Club Membership.  It is directed by and obediently follows orders of the exact same Donor-Owner Ruling Class "Establishment Club" that owns and drives the Marxocrat Party, which is to say that it is overwhelmingly Marxist and Globalist in its makeup. This Party is "Conservative" and "Constitutionalist" in public appearance, words and political speeches only.  It is secretly a fully "bipartisan" cooperator with the Marxocrat Party in its entire agenda while publicly pretending to be otherwise. 

The Marxocrat Party agenda to "Democratize" the Catholic Church in America should not be laughed at; it is making progress.  After all, Cultural Marxism has already almost totally Democratized material science and bent it to their ideology, in the creation of Scientism.  If they could successfully commandeer material science and make it a tool in their globalist arsenal, why not try to do the same thing to theological science?  It shouldn't be too hard; look at all the inroads Cultural Marxism has already made in Catholic universities like Notre Dame. 

The extent that this insidious intellectual infection can destroy human reason might be illustrated by Stephen Hawking's recommendation to colonize Mars, quick, before Earth dies.  He obviously believes the Population Problem hoax, the Climate Change hoax and all the "unsustainability" crappola of the Establishment Globalist political agenda.  Proving that even a scientist lauded by all peers as a genius can be indoctrinated, propagandized and made into an illogical stupid ass. 

The Marxocrat Party agenda promotes the Culture of Death in its entirety.  To that end, it uses their corrupted courts, the non-representative and unaccountable bureaucracies and even illegal executive actions to establish unconstitutional and therefore illegal false "civil rights" that actually act to illegally violate existing Constitutional civil rights.  At the top of the list is their opposition to and repression of Christian religion, in direct violation of the Constitution. 

Phony civil rights, such as the right to abortion, a "right" to contraception, a "requirement" of others to provide contraception, the right to homosexual marriage, the right to require Christians to support homosexual events, the right of minorities to unequal special legal treatment over majorities, the restriction of free speech through speech codes, hate-speech and hate-crime laws and "Politically Correct" speech, and on, and on.  All of these are not only out-of-Constitutional-scope, but all of them are also direct Constitutional violations.  They are crimes, pure and simple. 

The Marxocrat Party, which, in and of itself, is an unconstitutional entity, is successfully reducing American citizen independence and radically increasing American citizen total dependence upon government.  That is the goal of Marxist Socialism.  Mostly through unconstitutional regulations, issued by unconstitutional bureaucracies, citizen behavior is ever increasingly limited, and citizen dependence on government is grown.  Systematically. 

The Republicrat Party has stopped not one bit of any of this.  They cooperate in the process.  Like their pretended opposition, this Party, in and of itself, is an unconstitutional entity.  As are all Political Parties in America.  Parties are not mentioned in Article One Section Eight, or anywhere else in the Constitution or any of its Amendments.  Nor is there any mention of Party Primary elections selecting candidates for federal office; nor is there any mention of Party Delegates, Party Conventions, or anything else federal treasure is currently being wasted on. 

"Conservative" pundits and commentators who say that a President Hillary would be stopped from doing further damage by a Republicrat controlled Congress are either fools or liars.  If a Republicrat controlled Congress has not ever stopped one single destructive unconstitutional crime of Comrade Obama (peace be upon him) then what on earth makes anyone think they will ever act to stop any continuation of his unconstitutional criminal agenda by Madam Killery?  I mean Hillary. 

The Republicrat Party is in on it, the people are waking up to it, and that's why Trump is where he is.  Not just conservatives; not just Christians; the whole people are waking up to the lawlessness of the whole Establishment, not just the Parties.  If Trump once learns of the power of the Constitution, as the Supreme Law of the Land, he can actually weaponize it, as the principle law enforcement officer of America, if he is elected President.  He could then take out the whole damned Establishment Club and restore American greatness, almost overnight.  More about that later. 

Again, Parties are nowhere mentioned in the Constitution.  That makes them illegal as operative parts of the federal government.  Nor is the Establishment Donor-Owner Elite Social Club that funds and operates the Parties, and that derives it's share of annual tax revenues (federal contracts, bail-outs, subsidies, favorable regulations, etc.) from them, to be found anywhere in the Constitution.  No one ever elected George Soros, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet to anything, nor are the biggest banks and investment houses and funds, the US Chamber of Commerce or Hollywood Nobility in any way representative of or accountable to the American citizenry.  Yet they are running the whole show, as an unconstitutional shadow government. 

The Political Parties, and their owning Establishment Club, listen more to the UN, the EU, the World Court, the WTO, COMINTERN, WWF, various Global Environmental fraud promoters, etc., than they do to the American people.  The American government is supposed to be protecting the established civil rights of the American people, not fixing the climate or any other such hoax-based international Globalist nonsense. 

A parallel comparison of our Presidential Candidates:

Madam Hillary

Marxist to the core, Alinskyite by strategy, this woman is every bit as anti-Constitution as is Obamnunism itself.  The truth is not in her.  The fact that she is not in prison is proof of the ineffectiveness if not complicity of the Republicrat Party in her crimes.  (Criminal Obamunism - in charge of the entire sitting government - certainly will not ever prosecute itself.)  Besides all of her criminal activity, she champions abortion, eugenics, homosexual marriage, homosexual special rights, new imaginary gender special rights, forcing religion to modify its own revelation or moral teaching, suppression of religion, suppression of free speech, suppression of gun rights, restrictions on liberty, forced dependency on government, the end of borders, the end of sovereignty, the end of nations, which means the end of the USA.  She actually wants to force the Church to become Democratic, just like all the Protestant Denominations. 

Donald Trump

Represents the only complete "Outsider" in the race.  His own Party opposes him, while not opposing his opposition.  They prefer his opposition to him.  And that is why he keeps winning.  His followers have awakened to the treachery of the Parties and the Establishment, and Trump is no Politician and no Establishment Club member wannabe.  And, the connection between Donald Trump and his supporters goes two ways; he listens to them.  Whatever imperfections he may have, he truly loves America, and her people, and he is "coming around" especially on issues such as Life; he was always on board with Liberty, and Private Property, which is to say, Capitalism.  He is moving in the right direction, while his opposition keeps getting more anti-Christian and more anti-American.  No matter how imperfect Trump may be, he ain't one of them, and they are who America needs to get out from under if America is to survive at all. 

The Republicrat Party, and really the whole Party System and the whole "Establishment" that runs it, has shot itself in the foot.  The Marxocrats are out to destroy the Constitution; indeed, they are in the process of actively destroying the Constitution, and the Republicrats have no particular interest in defending it.  With far too few notable exceptions, the Republicrat Party wants open borders, amnesty and quick voting citizenship for all the criminal aliens, and they want it just as much as the Marxocrats do, and they just keep proving it.  They have no concern for the Constitution, and they have absolutely no concern for the interest of the citizenry, and they just keep proving that, too. 

They actually stand diametrically opposed to their own voter base. 

Many Bishops, too, seem to be on board the Marxist ideological bus.  Dolan, and many others, recite what looks like the same boilerplate language more typical these days of the Mainstream Media in their fully scripted, Marxocrat-slanted "News" reporting.  Referring to the criminal aliens as "immigrants", for instance, and referring to Trump and his followers as "Nativists".  And they thereby make obvious liars of themselves, right out in the open.  Catholic Bishops. 

There are no immigration papers for these criminals, because they are not immigrants.  They were criminally lured here, allowed in here, and kept in here, against the law, by the sitting federal government and the Marxocrat Party.  The whole purpose is to get them all on welfare, food stamps, on Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid, in the public education system, and into American hospitals.  To "Cloward-Piven" the overloaded American economy into the dumpster and crash America, and maybe the world.  And Dolan knows it, because he is a part of it. 

And none of that even touches on the continually growing Islamic Ummah in America. 

So, how did the Establishment shoot itself in the foot? 

In what they have done and are doing to Donald Trump.  They have been prodding and teasing and torturing, with long sticks and from a safe distance, a truly large and powerful alpha male brawler who does not play by their rules.  They have declared war, as it were, and thrown down the gauntlet, right in front of him.  (They have done this before, but nobody ever picked it up before this.)  As President, if he is elected, Trump will be off the leash, the kennel will be opened, and then there will be hell to pay. 

We can hope that some Bishops might take a lesson from Trump and begin their own campaign to reinforce orthodoxy and openly condemn heterodoxy, using Truth as a weapon, just as Trump may use the Constitution as a weapon. 

A parallel comparison of Catholic and Constitutional "Anvils":

The Catholic Anvil

One (or ten, or twenty) American Bishops could be the giant Hammer with which to beat heterodoxy out of the Church in America, banging against the unchanged, unvarnished Revealed Truth in the Sacred Deposit of Faith.  With bold public pronouncements, Cardinals like Dolan, Wuerl, O'Malley, Cupich and others should placed on the anvil by their brother Bishops and forced to either begin fighting very publicly and very openly to defend their clearly anti-Catholic teachings, or change them.  Publicly.  The gloves have to come off here.  Privacy rules within the brotherhood of Bishops should not apply when so many souls are at stake.  Error must be pointed out and condemned, and somebody has to be the one to first to stand up, point the finger and officially and publicly admonish the sinner.  Truth does not change.  Truth is an anvil.  It's high time to vigorously apply the hammer of Apostolic Authority.  After all, the Truth  is either the Truth, or He is not. 

The Constitutional Anvil

A President Trump could change the world, using the Constitution as an anvil, and the literal English of it as a hammer.  Everyone is overly worried about future Supreme Court candidates, and everyone is angry that Obama is not being impeached.  What everyone overlooks is that impeachment does not apply solely to Presidents.  It applies to Justices, Senators and Congressmen, too.  Five sitting Justices have violated the Constitution and their oaths of office, multiple times.  Every Senator and Congressman who pushed through Obamacare violated the Constitution and their oaths of office to do it.  Guess what?  That's a crime.  If the House refused to issue articles of impeachment against all of them, or if the Senate refused to impeach them, the President could simply prosecute them, for crimes ranging from criminal malfeasance in office to treason.  The Constitution is either the supreme law of the land, or it is not.  The oath of office either means something, or it does not. 

The hemorrhaging of Catholic laity and the hemorrhaging of Catholic Priests could be slowed, stopped and reversed fairly quickly by a return to strict Catholic orthodoxy, unvarnished, out front, very public, preached from the pulpit, highlighting the differences between Catholicism and all the rest of the World.  Here is the thing about the anvil of Truth to which only Catholic Bishops may apply the hammer of Apostolic Authority:

If you preach it, they will come. 

That might be divisive, but then, Catholicism is supposed to be divisive.  More would enter or come back or be truly converted than those who might leave.  Fear of losing anyone just feeds indifferentism.  Non-judgmentally taking in everyone is, in fact, idifferentism. 

Who, exactly, are we? 

A President Trump could almost take the Marxocrat Party out of existence, and surely out of all power at the federal level, just based on past violations of the Constitution.  In fact, he could take the whole Party system itself out of existence by Breaking the Parties.  He could undo the whole unconstitutional mess and take out the whole Establishment Club that has been trying to destroy him, by simply going through the steps in Restoring the Constitution.  Opponents, including opponents in his own Party, would be forced to publicly argue against the Constitution they swore to uphold just to defend themselves. 

Just as heterodox Bishops, in my dream world above, would be forced to publicly argue against Revealed Truth and the Bible just to defend their heterodoxy.  The Bible either says what it says, or it does not. 

It really is that simple.

It's very odd that you don't even want your charges/questions quoted here, and I almost decided against responding at all for that reason.  But your points are important, and others may be thinking along the same lines, so here I am. 

When religion drives politics, and the religion is the religion of the people, the result is stable government and stable peaceful populace.  When that religion is Jewish or Christian, then the morality driving the creation of civil law is "good" morality, stemming from the Judaeo-Christian Ethos.  Other religions are not so "good"; some, such as Islam, are "bad". 

Serious problems arise when the opposite occurs, and politics drives religion, or, politics eliminates religion.  As in "secular" France, or Marxist Russia or China, the result is state-determined, purely utilitarian and materialistic ideology that becomes law.  Law in which nothing is sacred, including even human life. 

The same thing happens with Political Parties, which always "evolve" over time, based on the popular issue or issues of any moment in political time.  They almost never go away after some issue wins or loses.  They just develop other issues to champion or oppose.  And that just means becoming increasingly powerful political factions continually squabbling over issues, and even over nonsense, with an ever decreasing interest in their national organizations, their citizenry, or any true fixed sense of right versus wrong. 

That's how some European nations developed thirty or more viable, recognized Political Parties.  That's how America's Democrat Party became the Marxocrat Party, the Republican Party became the Republicrat Party and the USCCB became the Catholicrat Party.
